Who Would You Rather See?

Recommended Posts

Guest Mattdotcom

What We Know

The Big Show won the WWE Title at Survivor Series.

What We Heard

Hulk Hogan, the original choice, was supposed to job but wanted to win.

The Question

Would you rather have Show or Hogan as champ? Nobody say "neither", either.

Of the two, I say Show. Because as horrible a wrestler as he is, the angle is being built really well.

Well if you look at it that way, then Big Show. Since Hogan sqashing Lesnar due to the power of Hulkamania would have been really lame, and who the hell would he allow to take the belt from him? I guess the Show feud was built as best as it could and at leats sets up a pain free rematch. It still sucks that Lesnar couldn't remain undefeated though, since his loss to Angle would mean so much more...

I'd rather see Hogan as champion. I really didn't mind his last reign, because it was nice and short lived and it was nice to see Hogan with the title again.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd rather see Show. If it had been Hogan, Lesnar would've stayed heel, and I prefer Lesnar as the 100% Heyman free babyface. Besides, it'll look even more impressive when Brock throws the Big Fat around some more before busting out the F5 and then hitting half a dozen Shooting Star Brocks for the pin and sending Show back down where he belongs (Down where? Down...oh never mind that's too disturbing to contemplate).

Sure it would.

It would be Brock's first *clean* loss.

dreamer420, I just want to say how mega-depressing that picture is, really. It is so weird looking at it now, I still can't believe it...

...also, before Big Show's push started, I would have said Hogan, as I'm the biggest Hogan mark always, and almost always want to see him with a World Title. Now that it's played out though, I wouldn't go back in time to make it so TBS didn't get it, as this angle with Brock is one of the best angles I've seen on TV in a VERY long time, and I'm suprised that I can say that.

I would like Hogan to come back though, heheheh.

Big Pudge gets blown up in a four minute match in which he takes no bumps, and jogs around a bit.

Hulk Hogan can't jog around a bit.

I'll take Show.

I would rather see Hogan as champion, but I would rather have Big Show beat Lesnar. I think in this situation it is better with Show as champ because at least he looks like he could believably beat Lesnar even though he was jobbing to Jeff Hardy a couple of months ago. It is better for Lesnar to get beat by a 7 foot tall guy than a 50 year old guy.

Hogan has been champion so many times already, his time has past, giving him the title just to shrill his book would be hella LAME.

Hogan.

I think most people are just picking Show out of the Hogan hate.

But I'd pick Hogan. Why?

Big Show is a joke. He's been a joke for YEARS now. He'll be a joke again, as soon as this (hopefully) brief main event run is over and done with.

Hogan, at least, has his "legend" status to fall back on.

I'd rather Brock lose to a "legend", even if that means Hogan, than to a fat sack of shit who was jobbing to Jeff fucking Hardy 2 months ago.

Big Show. At least he has some offense that actually looks offensive. Besides, the WWE can get a lot more mileage out of building him than they could by re-building a 53 year old Hogan again. I'm actually starting to enjoy Big Show as the champ, so long as he's got Heyman in front of him.
