Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I'm currently just starting the second page of my ten page essay, due on Tuesday, and so far I've done NOTHING but talk out of my ass. This won't be pretty. I'm a thousand words into my other essay, due on Friday. And I haven't started my other other essay, also due on Friday. You could say it's my fault for not starting beforehand. I like to blame my job, because they WON'T HIRE ENOUGH FUCKING PEOPLE and thus, I work something like 25-30 hours a week, meaning when I do get free time, it's so bloody rare I tend to waste it away doing nothing of note. Speaking of which, I'm also pissed off at work. I was informed today that one of our guys quit, and another apparantly only works on Sundays now. This means that there is NOT A SINGLE PERSON IN THE WHOLE DAMNED STORE who can cover my shift for me on Friday. Why am I so annoyed? IT'S MY DAMN BIRTHDAY!!! I have to work on my FUCKING BIRTHDAY!! BIRTHDAYBIRTHDAYBIRTHDAY!!!! And no, I can't call in sick, because I'll get in shit, on account of the other guy working KNOWS it's my birthday, and he'll know the real deal. And since it'll be a busy night, he'll be pissed and probably rat me out to a manager (Rightfully so). Oh and I'm also mad at how stupid my scedule was this week. Friday night, I got off at 12. Saturday morning? 7 FUCKING AM. The night crew had more time to work then I had to go home, sleep, get ready for work, and then drive BACK. Ack. And the worst part? I keep writing 2-3 sentences on the essay, and then COMING BACK TO THIS FUCKING MESSAGE BOARD~! DAMN THIS E-HEROIN!!!! DAMMIT IT ALL TO HELL! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And as for the wanting to write a paper but coming back to the board, tell me about it. It's gotten so bad now that I'm in college and "automatically connected" that I've had to unplug my Ethernet cable and give it to a friend to hide until I finish my paper. Guest treble charged Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I have three essays due in the next week (one that's supposed to be in on Friday, but I think I'll be home by then, so I'll have to hand it in on Thursday, giving me even less time to work on it), as well as two philosophy essays (this would be my fault, too, since I neglected to do the first one in that class, which would mean I would only have one to do this time). I meant to work on them sometime yesterday or today, but slept through most of the day, and tomorrow will likely be a wash, since I'll be wasting the day watching the Grey Cup and it's pre-game show.
