Guest BobBacklundRules Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Ok there's this rumor of a 4-horsemen return involving flair, of course, and with Batista's run in to save flair on RAW might be a glimpse into who the new guys are. Flair is "managing" HHH so obviously trips is in, and leviathan made his presence known on monday so who are the other 2 NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU guys? Well this whole bidding war for steiner could set up a run in heel turn at Armageddon, creating the ultimate four-hossmen stable with some other 'roid freak joining in sometime later (Nathan Jones?). But everything I suggest never happens so we'll see.
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Ultimate? What's ultimate about that group? The amount of steriod's per square ounce?
Guest The Notorious CRD Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 If they're truly going to re-form the 4 Horsemen, I think Storm and Regal would be great choices for members. It would give the new Horsemen a tag team to go after the tag belts with and 2 fairly solid wrestlers as well.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Wasn't it going to be Orton? And since Regal is all buddy buddy with Trips, probably him too. The Four Horsemen.... Going from Flair, Anderson, Benoit, and Malenko to HHH, Regal, Randy Orton, and Batitsta... 4SHAME!
LaParkaYourCar Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Flair, Benoit, Jericho, and Randy Orton would be a good new 4 Horsemen.
Guest snowfan Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Flair, Benoit, Jericho, and Randy Orton would be a good new 4 Horsemen. HGH, Benoit, Jericho, and Orton would be better.... Flair is OLE 2002...

Flair is OLE 2002... Nooooo HHH in the Horsemen......in a fair world. Okay how about: Benoit, Jericho, Orton, and Eddy w/ Flair in the JJ Dillon role.

I dunno, but WWE will not let a group get over without aardvark... I plan on enjoying the next last 5 years of WWE unless they get Crips under control...
Guest RickyChosyu Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 In a fair world, the whole thing would never be resurected from it's rotting corpse again. Ricky, who likes the idea to call them the "Beating a Dead Horsemen."

Ricky, who likes the idea to call them the "Beating a Dead Horsemen." I agree. The second round was the best, maybe when benoit initially joined, but the Roma team???? neigh, neigh, neigh....*bam bam bam*
Guest Olympic Slam Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 HHH and Batista? Well then this new Four Horsemen easily passes my "I don't fucking care" litmus test.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Count me in the "let the Horsemen stay dead" group. WCW raped it's corpse enough, there's no need for the WWE to try and poke new holes in it.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 I think it's safe to say ever possible Horsemen orifice has been fucked. For this one they'll have to ear fuck it or something. Then again, you know how HHH gets about fucking corpses.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Damn... that means it'll start looking like a molded piece of Swiss cheese in a day...

I HOPE we've taken it as far as it can go.
TheFranchise Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 The Four Horsemen.... Going from Flair, Anderson, Benoit, and Malenko to HHH, Regal, Randy Orton, and Batitsta... 4SHAME! The best thing about the origonal (well not the origonal, the last known faction of them) was that they had decent wrestlers in it, and they also had killer music, what i'd give to hear that again... Trouble is, Batista and Orton just aren't Benoit and Malenko. However, PRAY we don't get Mongo McMichaels back...

Trouble is, Batista and Orton just aren't Benoit and Malenko... The best thing about the original was that it WAS THE ORIGINAL! Anything after that is just pulling a Katie Vick. I know I should be used to this 4Horsemen rumour re-surfacing every 2 weeks or so, much like the "Yokozuna's coming back" running gag on Scoops' site way back when. But it's truly getting more and more annoying, especially when HHHeMan's name is constantly dropped. Isn't there anything else we can talk about?!? ::looks around, sees nothing on the horizon except HBK/HHH at Armageddon:: (sigh)
Guest NoCalMike Posted November 25, 2002 Report Posted November 25, 2002 So far every non-WWE idea/angle/gimmick brought back by Vince has failed miserably, because Vince doesn't care to get something over that isn't his creation. So I say, just let the horseman idea DIE DIE DIE...
Guest Paranoid Posted November 25, 2002 Report Posted November 25, 2002 Wasn't it going to be Orton? And since Regal is all buddy buddy with Trips, probably him too. The Four Horsemen.... You know it really ticks me off when the Name $ Horsemen sre mentioned you always hear Flair, Anderson, Benoit, and Malenko. That was the shittiest version ever. Tulley, Flair, Arn, and Ollie, that was the shit and always will be. How soon they sre forgotten.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 25, 2002 Report Posted November 25, 2002 You know it really ticks me off when the Name $ Horsemen sre mentioned you always hear Flair, Anderson, Benoit, and Malenko. That was the shittiest version ever. Tulley, Flair, Arn, and Ollie, that was the shit and always will be. How soon they sre forgotten. At least that version could be called the FOUR horsemen. The 1993 version there were only 3, and the announcers constantly had to ignore the 'four' part and call them 'the Horsemen'. Add to the fact that one of them was Paul Roma, as well as some really bad music, and indeed, you have the worst version ever. Out of curiosity, do you type fast?

Guest Paranoid Posted November 25, 2002 Report Posted November 25, 2002 Ric Flair Barry Windham Arn Anderson Tully Blanchard Second best version. Nothing beats the original!
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted November 25, 2002 Report Posted November 25, 2002 Ric Flair Barry Windham Arn Anderson Tully Blanchard Second best version. Nothing beats the original! No man, I love the original, but the Windham version was more hated, held all the major titles almost all the time, and were better wrestlers. (Barry was better than Ole, and the other three had just gotten better with experience) Also they were born from a cool angle, no one saw Windham's turn on Luger coming.
Guest Trivia247 Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 ok HHH will Urinate on the Horsemen heritage, Vince will dump some Gas on it. and Flair will Set it afire...
TheFranchise Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 Nope, have to disagree with... all of you here, i think the last version in wCw was the best, but then again, i've only really seen that one... the calibare of wrestler in the last one was ex ceptional, i mean Benoit and Flair are legends.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 Yeah, but Flair's legendary status didn't change that fact that he sucked in the ring and should have hung it up. I loved Benoit/Malenko as a tag team, but come on, the Horsemen were as dead as could be in their last run in WCW. Between Sid, Mongo, and Paul Roma, the rehashing had killed any appeal the group had to begin with. The Horsemen was a novelty in its heyday, but durring the '90's it was Just Another Heel Stable, despite WCW's ridiculous claims that "it represented pro wrestling tradition and excellence" or whatever the crap was.
TheFranchise Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 Malenko and Benoit were a good team, then came the greatest stable in wrestling history.... The Revolution! ahem, maybe not so great...
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 The Four Horsemen: Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson & Ric Flair. The will always be THE Four Horsemen. Ric Flair, Dave Batista, Triple H & Randy Orton sounds fine to me, seeing as how they are just going to be a rehashed WWF attempt at something else from the past.. much like the NWO.
