Guest Powerplay Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Deep inside the depths of Magnificent Seven headquarters, sits the Junior League Edition of the infamous stable. Fugue, Ejiro Fasaki, and Judge Mental are undergoing an in depth tape session; preparing for their upcoming encounters on SJL Wrath in a mere couple of hours. We join the meeting, already in progress. The Judge lowly grumbles out, "And that should be enough information to take The Luchador out, Ejiro." Ejiro smiles to himself, "Oh yeah, he's going to back in that institution in no time... uh... no offense Fugue. Fugue answers back, "I would prefer if we started this piece soon. " Judge brings his followers back under control, "Next on the agenda is the match I have with WildChild and Johnny Dangerous in the 'Five Wounds' match. Ejiro, you've faced these guys before on a number of occasions. What are the chances I have of divide and conquer?" Ejiro shrugs, "Not so good, look at these tapes... It is my belief that even as back as far as October 27th, WildChild and Dangerous have been acting as a unit..." Fury tries to take Wildchild over with a suplex, but holds onto the turnbuckle for dear life. Johnny sneaks up behind Fury and puts him on his shoulders. Fury, caught totally unawares, releases his hold on Wildchild. Johnny turns around, so that his and Fury’s backs are facing Wildchild, who steadies himself on the top turnbuckle. Suddenly, Wildchild leaps off, grabbing Fury in a headlock as he passes over, as Johnny swings Fury forward as he falls to the mat, resulting in an Electric Chair Drop – Bulldog combination from the two that sends Fury into the table! "... the trend only continues from there at November 5th when they faced me and Jack the Ripper in a tag match. Then, I assumed they were just going to be partners for a night, but check out this continuity..." With Johnny momentarily blinded, Jack steps to his corner and tags in to Ejiro Fasaki. Fasaki leaps over the top rope and charges forward, but gets crushed immediately flush with a spin heel kick from Dangerous’ educated feet. Picking Fasaki off the canvas, Dangerous wraps his arms around the European Champion’s waist and sends him to he canvas with one crushing belly-to-belly suplex that knocks the wind right out of Fasaki. Pulling Ejiro up by the head and locking on a front facelock, Johnny drags him over to an unfriendly corner and makes a quick tag to WildChild. Dragging Fasaki closer to the center of the ring, Dangerous lifts a stunned Ejiro up in a bear hug as WildChild bounces against the ropes for momentum. Leaping high into the air, WildChild smashes Ejiro in the face with a leaping calf kick to the face. And as Dangerous knocks The Ripper right off the apron, WildChild hooks a leg as Hall counts... ONE! TWO! THR...NAHHHHHHH! Ejiro just barely kicks away in time to kick out of the cover. WildChild collects Ejiro and pushes him back into a neutral corner. Smashing Ejiro’s chest with a series of quick chops, WildChild sets Ejiro’s chest on fire before sending him across the ring with an Irish Whip. Following Fasaki in, WildChild leaps into his chest and rolls backwards, sending Ejiro high into air with a monkey flip. Ejiro barely drags himself up to his feet before WildChild takes him right back to the canvas with a running rolling elbow to the chest. Trying to keep the pace fast, WildChild quickly drags Fasaki towards Dangerous and makes another tag. Together Johnny and WildChild whip Fasaki into the ropes and catch him on the rebound with a double flapjack. "They seem quite harmonious for two discordant notes, eh maestro?" asks Fugue. "Hmmm." snorts Judge Mental. "More than that, I assume." states Ejiro, "Look at this from just the last show when Dangerous... uhh... how should I put this? Uhhh... well look at the tape." "THE HELL IT IS, KING! HE’S DOING IT! JOHNNY DANGEROUS HAS FUGUE UPSIDE DOWN AND ON HIS BACK!” THE CROWDS LET OUT A MONSTROUS CHEER LIKE NEVER BEFORE HEARD FOR JOHNNY DANGEROUS AS HE STANDS WITH FUGUE LOCKED ONTO HIS BACK AND LETS OUT A HUGE BATTLE CRY, AND- “NO,” shouts the Suicide King, “THIS CAN’T HAPPEN!” -JUMPS BACK, KICKING HIS FEET OUT FOR A SIT OUT, AND GRINDS FUGUE INTO THE MAT!! WWWWHHHAAAAAMMMMMM!!!!! “VERTEBREAKER! JOHNNY DANGEROUS JUST PULLED OUT A VERTEBREAKER! THIS HAS GOT TO BE IT!!” "Hm. I deal with the classical aspect, Ejiro.” Says a slightly peeved Fugue, “I didn’t expect him to pull some Jazz improvisation with a Vertebreaker?" "A vertebreaker?" says Ejiro with a raised eye, "or a WildRide? Looks like WildChild and Johnny have been training together in secret long enough for them to know each others holds well enough to pull them out and use them effectively." "So neither one is going to help me out in there." states Judge, "I guess I am going to have to beat them both. Ejiro, I assume you have some sort of plan." "Indeed, thankfully WildChild and Dangerous do have rather glaring flaws. WildChild will be the first... look at this from October 31st, the ladder match from The Ejiropean Title between me, WildChild and Tim Dillon. Half of the crowd is screaming for him to just take the belt and end the match, but the other half is screaming for him to give into his temptations. Wildchild looks back at the title one last time, and breaks into a wide grin, as if to say, “I’ll be right back,” and jumps off the top of the ladder! Wildchild falls towards the canvas, twisting through the air with his arms extended, and finally crashing on top of Ejiro’s chest. “OH MY GAWD! Andros drop from the top of the ladder!” “I knew it,” smirks the King. “I knew he couldn’t just grab the title and let that be the end of it!” Wildchild holds onto his midsection in pain, as the drop from the ladder hurt him almost as much as it did Ejiro. After almost a minute, Wildchild struggles to his feet to a huge crowd reaction, and staggers back over to the ladder. He starts to climb back up, much slower this time. "As you can clearly see, Judge. WildChild would rather show off to the fans than actually win a match. He has this sick, depraved need to try and please those dimwits in the audience than win a match, even if a title is on the line. So all you need to do is wait for WildChild to make a mistake... and then you own him." "And Dangerous?" "Dangerous is a little tougher, he's a fine striker. But he has to be standing to do that. Get him on the canvas and attack his wheels and he'll be out of it just that quick." "That quick?" "Yup, hey, if Jack the Ripper can do this?" The Ripper follows that up by pushing Johnny Dangerous over and hooking Johnny’s leg with his leg. Jack then applies a crossface with both of his arms. “Jack is applying his STF finisher!” Right when it looks like Johnny Dangerous is about to tap Matthew Kivell is knocked down with a chair, courtesy of Ms. Muffin. Jack the Ripper applies the STF even harder as he looks around for Matthew Kivell. He immediately releases the submission once he notices Matthew Kivell knocked down. "Now, Jack the Ripper isn't in the same class as you or Fugue as far as submissions. But Fugue concentrated his attack on Johnny's shoulders and "The Barracuda" just kept coming. But The Ripper goes to the knees and Johnny folds like a tent." "I see," says The Judge as he jots down some notes on his clipboard. "Good work gentlemen. Let's get to training." "Wait a minute? What about Fugue's match with Spike? What is he going to do against The Jenkster?" "Don’t worry, Ejiro," says Fugue, "This is one duet that I know by heart. I’m sure that I’ll get some beautiful melodies out of our friend." Ejiro gives a cockeyed look at Fugue for a moment. "Fair enough."

Guest Powerplay Report post Posted November 25, 2002 Wow. That's hot. I wish I had seen this before I started wrtiting my match... I tried to sneak a reference in there, though. Yeah, I thought Ejiro was gonna post it since he wrote most of it, I wanted him taking most of the credit, but I guess he intended for me to do it. Oops and sorry to Johnny and WC .
