Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted November 26, 2002 I thought the original LOW was horrible Nah, it was really good. You could pull off all kinds of great moves. The story mode sucked.
Guest The Notorious CRD Report post Posted November 26, 2002 I'm actually looking forward to this game because I enjoyed the first one a good deal. With the expansive roster and added gimmick matches, LOW2 should be even better.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 26, 2002 LOW2 Has Andy fn Kaufman. Im gonna read reviews and stuff, and If I like what I read, I'll try and pick it up for the GC after Christmas.
Guest Karnage Report post Posted November 27, 2002 Anyone know if you can replace the entrance music of the wrestler's on the XBOX version? It would rock if you could upload Real American, Bret Hart's theme and The Million Dollar Man theme into the game.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted November 27, 2002 I would so dig it if a wrestling game came out where you were an indy worker, and you had to work your way through the ranks. Only, instead of moving onto different territories once you've captured the top belt or gotten as over as you could, you could do different things for whatever promotion you worked for. Kinda hard to explain... Anyways, I'm adding LOW2 to the X-Mas list. Last year, I got PS2 with LOW and GTA3. This year, I hope to get GTA:VC and LOW2. Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted November 30, 2002 I just found the official site for it from Acclaim and FUCK... Right, well there's MY reason to buy the thing. However they've included guys like Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant, The British Bulldog (which i really liked), Bruno Sammartino, Sid Vicious even...Big Poppa Pump? Eh, forgot when he became a legend.. Illusion Want the site? - http://www.legendsofwrestling2.com/index2.html Enjoy, my Illusion-ites P.S I have a feeling this game will be buried by someone with very large muscles..call it a hunch... Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted November 30, 2002 Eddie is in there too this time, although RVD is no longer a legend. Odd.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted November 30, 2002 Eddie is in there too this time, although RVD is no longer a legend. Odd. RVD's was in the first game since Acclaim still owned the rights to all the ECW guys. Since he's joined the WWE since then, they no longer own his rights. Eddy signed on to be in the second game during his layoff earlier this year from WWE. Hogan by the way signed at least a 2 game contract with Acclaim before joining WWE, which is why he's still in it. Same with Steiner.

By any chance, the FUCK YOU JOEY STYLES.........is it because he joined XPW? Well, I would love a game like that as well. Start off as a rookie, work your way up. That would be a dream season mode. Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 30, 2002 I just don't understand what you see in this game, I played it on GBA and it sucks, almost as bad as Road to Wrestlemania. Fire Pro is #1 game for GBA
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted November 30, 2002 Because you're playing the pussified, watered-down, 2-button controller LOW. Go find somebody with a PS2 and play LOW. It's sorta generic, and Career Mode sucks balls, but an exhibition match with the difficulty set to "Legend" is rather fun. Redundant with the moves used for CAWs, but still fun nonetheless. And yes, my "FUCK YOU JOEY STYLES" is XPW-related.

Guest alkeiper Report post Posted December 11, 2002 I bought the PS2 version a few days ago and I'm digging it. It's also got Owen Hart, Ricky Steamboat, and managers such as Bobby Heenan and the Grand Wizard. It's also got some archived interview footage which is cool. Agreed, an awesome addition to it was those interviews. I'm currently ripping it up as the Hitman against Owen. I'm such a BORING ass person when it comes to games... Work the leg Hit down Work the leg Hit down Work the leg Hit down Sharpshooter *dance in living room* Wrestlemania X it AIN'T! Illusion

Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted December 14, 2002 LoW must seriously be an acquired taste...because I honestly cannot stand any of the games in the series. The gameplay is stilted and unbalanced, like somebody hired a group of retarded three-year olds to watch Giant Gram 2K and take notes for development. The graphics are downright deplorable, right along with the three frames of animation dedicated to "running." The Create-A-Wrestler was a total unequivocal snooze, with absolutely nothing on any of the other North American releases in the last three years. And, while the roster of characters is admirable, once you see Don Muraco pulling out a Death Valley Driver, the nostalgia quickly wears off.
Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted December 14, 2002 the best part of the game are the interviews. Rocky Johnson, Hulk Hogan, and Eddie Guerrero are my favorites.
Guest COCOPUFFS Report post Posted December 14, 2002 how does this game have hulk hogan in it. i didnt think they could do that since he was in the WWE this year
Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted December 14, 2002 Hogan signed a contract with Akklaim when before LOW came out. So far it is atleast 2 game contract. RVD was in the last game because he was in ECW and Akklaim had rights to ECW name and wrestlers. Eddy Guerrero is the same thing as Hogan since he signed on long before he went back to the WWF. What suprises me is that Ric Steiner and Sid have the label Ledend. I guess Ric because of the Steiner brothers. Thats why the Nasty Boys are in it. But someone explain Sid for me. In the case of Sid, I think they're blurring the lines between "Legends" and "We're Just Including This Wrestler Because He's A Big Name." He has been a round for a while, though. As has the One Man Gang... and he's far from "Legendary" status.

I couldn't stand it for the first few days, BUT once I got my timing down, the game becomes very fun. Just being able to do 8-Man Survivor Series style matches with ALL 8 guys on the screen is AWESOME! Whip someone into your own corner and watch your cohorts whip your foe from here to kingdom come!
