Don't see Backyard Dogs!!!!!

A friend and I rented the movie Backyard Dogs today. For those of you out there who haven't been through this peice of crud, don't see it.

 

It's a tale of two 'backyard wrestlers' and their rise to 'fame'. It stars only two recognizable faces, Zack, the first Black Power Ranger (costume, and racially) and the greates japanese wrestler ever.....Hyabusa!!!!!!

 

This film is clearly backed financially by FMW, it even has a built in comercial for FMW videos. And though it might feature some actual backyard wreslers and footage, it doesn't make up for the crappy music, chessy storyline and apparent lack of a script.

 

So i am sory if this post doesn't belong here, or anywhere for that matter, i just thought everyone should know about it.

 

I am too faint from Raw to write more, if ya have any questions, let me know. Don't get this movie!!!

Court, you can post whatever you want about wrestling here, even if it has nothing to do with the WWF. A lot of people here do.

 

Usually it's the assholes who'll tell you to post these things somewhere else. Especially if you have less than ten comments to your name. I think they do it because showing off their "seniority" by telling some "rookie" that he better have a little more respect for the board and post whatever in a different folder gives 'em emotional rush.

 

But if you want to have your cake and eat it, too ... whenever you post something not related to the WWF here, just tack on some offhand comment at the end. Here you coulda said something like, "I hope Vince never sees this, it might give him ideas. " You gotta make sure to include the silly face, too. Then the assholes will be fooled and you'll be in the clear, my friend!

I think if you don't know stuff not relating to the WWF forum shouldn't technically be in the WWF forum, you're probably as dumb as Mighty Damramu (cheap shot!).

 

And telling me to "get over it"? I don't know, this topic is pretty high on my list of concerns in life!

And Bradshaw the Hoss and X-Killer were actually fairly well-behaved on this board. They were oodles more obnoxious before.

I was bad sometimes yeah. and Bradshaw and xkiller weren't well behaved here tat's why they got banned. I'm just saying that the other forums are for that kind of stuff while this forum is for stuff directly pretaining to the wwf.

Yes, I would agree with that.  As long as one doesn't go overboard, there's no problem.  I just don't think that the correct thing to tell the new guy is that he should feel free to post anything he wants in the WWF forum.  A polite remember of what posts go where is more appropriate, IMO, which is what Cobaingotmurdered did here.   If someone is a jerk about it, then I can understand if you want to take them to task for it, but that was not the case here.

I just don't think that the correct thing to tell the new guy is that he should feel free to post anything he wants in the WWF forum.

 

If he makes too much of a habit about it, he'll get banned when people get pissed off. That's all. I'm sure he has some sense about him, though.

 

A polite remember of what posts go where is more appropriate, IMO, which is what Cobaingotmurdered did here.   If someone is a jerk about it, then I can understand if you want to take them to task for it, but that was not the case here.

 

I didn't say Cobain was a jerk. At least not about this (YOWZA!!). Just that guys like Bps and Anglesault and others usually are when it comes to things like this. And I think it makes them think they're bad-asses. But that's another story! That I already told, even!

Yeah, I have kind of noticed that it's the newer guys who are told to post in the right forum, but that doesn't make the guy who told him an asshole.  It's just more likely that a newer person wouldn't know all of the rules.  bps21 sometimes posts non-WWF stuff in here as well but noone tells him because he already knows it's the wrong place and just doesn't care.

 

Onto the topic, I saw the movie over a friends house earlier today.  It was decent, nothing must see, but nothing too bad.
