He says that the band will hit the studio “around March/April 2003. The release date should be September 2003. We will produce ourselves this time. No more compromises! Peter Tägtgren did a great job on The Antichrist, but we have to move on, look for a new challenge! I love Peter and we surely will work together again one day. About the DVD, he says “It should be ready at the end of next year. We wanna take our time with that. We already have a lot of bits and pieces from all over the world. TOOL have been filming their recent live shows in the US with plans to release a DVD from the footage... Guest redbaron51 Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 Sebastian Bach and Slash???? interesting
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 Apparently the ex-GNR members & Sebastian Bach project is currently calling itself 'The Guns'. The Guns vs Guns N' Roses?....nah, it'll never happen Illusion - Not in a band
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 They should be Knives and Tulips.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 lol, Agent never fails to crack me up.. Illusion
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 The slash/sebastian bach combination can only retain novelty if they go full-bore cheesy hair metal. If they try to update their sound, or whatever, it'll completely flop.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 Hey, they could be called "Slash's Skidpit."
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 The slash/sebastian bach combination can only retain novelty if they go full-bore cheesy hair metal. If they try to update their sound, or whatever, it'll completely flop. Thats true, plus ALL of Slash's ex-projects have exploded before they really took off, much like 'Slash's Snakepit' and numerous other projects he was rumoured to be working on with other artists. What Slash has done to Axl that is so bad it prevents them re-joining is beyond me. You only live once, Mr. Rose, and there is MONEY to be made. Illusion - Isn't Slash
Guest saturnmark4life Posted November 26, 2002 Report Posted November 26, 2002 When i saw em live at leeds, Some chanted for Slash, and I think his response was 'you want slash? he's up MY FUCKIN ASS'. Great show though. I thought Axl was just a complete cunt and slash wouldn't want to rejoin?
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Slash has always been open minded about returning to GNR. It has ALWAYS been Axl who steps in, proclaims his ownership of the name "Guns N' Roses" and refuses all communication with ex-band members. In fact, i know Axl was at some show or something recently by which Slash was also set to attend. Axl ensured he had security refuse Slash entry, as he thought Slash was 'plotting against him'. ...right.... Illusion - ISN'T a psychopath
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Two words to solve this situation: Celebrity. Boxing.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Two words to solve this situation: Celebrity. Boxing. LOL, nah Axl would probably no-show. Illusion
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Axl's lookin' pretty chubby these days, too. I bet Slash could take it to him, he's pretty wily looking and all.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Trust me, it's all muscle. I've read shitloads of recent interviews with current GNR members, including the man himself, and he works out like CRAZY every day. I also hear that in live performances, he sprints around the stage, ala MTV Awards, constantly while singing, which wouldn't be easy to do. It also depends which angle you catch Mr. Rose on, like the one in my signature, which was taken just a few weeks back, makes him look pretty good. Illusion
Guest converge241 Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 I told everyone they should get Sebastian for the "roses n guns" project when they first announced it *vindicated* i mean hes a perfect fit
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 I'll be surprised if they last longer than a month, tops Illusion - Slash who?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 You know, I saw Halford get mentioned in the big paragraph there, and as a result, pretty much skipped the rest of it. I just re-read it, and I can't believe I missed this tidbit: TOOL have been filming their recent live shows in the US with plans to release a DVD from the footage OH SHIT YES.
