Heyman might be a good choice, they could have him put big show over the whole night, but it would detract from the matches and rest of the show.

 

I dont see any problem with Ernest miller..he should be as good as Tazz, if not slightly better..

I doubt Miller will pay attention as well as Tazz, keep Cole in check, point out psychology, describe the story in the match, and call the match as well as Tazz does.

If that Happens I think Big Show should just chokeslam him! and Chokeslam everyone involved for putting him on the air in the first place, Including Bischoff and His kid who took Karate with that nimrod

Now if only Mark Madden could somehow get an announcing job with WWF. I don't give a shit what anyone says i enjoyed Madden's announcing during his WCW stint. He played the role of big mouth heel announcer well.

Dude, Mark Madden isn't that good. I have heard people talk about him from the begining of this thread and I just can't take it anymore. He sounds like he should be calling a monster truck rally. I hated him in WCW and I doubt he has gotten any better since he tried to call matches in the WWE. They do make some good calls every once and awhile. He's just too damn dramatic for my taste.

What can I say, I liked the Cat. Although I don't understand why the WWE would pick up him as an announcer but not Scott Hudson. Hudson was great in the old-school Gorilla Monsoon vein of commentary.

 

1) Wasn't he a play-by-play guy?

2) I don't think they're looking for "old-school" in a colour commentator.

 

I really enjoyed Ernest Miller in WCW. I even found his Dance-off against Disco Inferno, his terrible kickboxing match against Jerry Flynn, and when he and Sonny Ono bought Glacier's entrance to be amusing. I just hope, for the live crowd's sake, that he came out to his James Brown music.

They should try out Stevie Ray for the SD (or Raw) commentator spot too. I always found him funny.

 

When Dawn Marie and Torrie Wilson started fighting he could tell Al to keep his Yaks in Check.

 

Also, when Michael Cole got stupid (as usual) he could call him a fruit booty and knock him out with the slapjack. That would be quality.

I don't really mind Tazz at the announce table, nor will I mind giving Ernest Miller a chance Thursday night. As long as he doesn't bust out that piece of shit kick he calls a finisher, everything will be fine.
