Did Giant Baba have a medical condition?

I look at Giant Baba, and he seemed to have a really oddly shaped body. Like his ribs were too wide and his legs and arms too skinny. Did he have a medical condition that would also explain his height?

I believe he suffered from a form of acromelagy, the same syndrome that Andre had.

Does the Big Show have the same condition?

Big Show was treated for the disease acromegaly (gigantism) in 1993 at the age of 21. It was after the treatment that Big Show began to gain weight. Before he was 7'0" and 320 pounds with a 36-inch waist. After treatment his waist was 55 inches and his weight reached 550 pounds in early 1999!

I wuld be surprised if Baba had Acromegaly, since generally that causes people to be overweight as well. Like when Andre couldn't keep growing taller, he grew wider. Baba looked weird because he was too skinny. Although that would explain the height.

I actually phoned into Dave Meltzer's radio show with this question. Dave thought Baba had some form of acromegaly, because although he wasn't huge in girth like Andre or Show, he still had huge hands and feet in addition to his height. So while it may not have been the same type of acromegaly that Show and Andre had, that was probably the cause.
