ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2002 ...Pilgrim Fashion show? ...riiiiight... And I'm hoping for Benoit to turn on Angle tonight with Los Guerreros. ANGLE AS A FACE!
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted November 27, 2002 Agreed. Come on WWE, make it happen.
Guest BaldFish Report post Posted November 27, 2002 There is nothing sexier than a hat with a buckle on it. I hope this makes the Puritans turn in their graves.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted November 27, 2002 So how much ya wanna bet the tag titles change hands this week?
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted November 27, 2002 There is nothing sexier than a hat with a buckle on it. I hope this makes the Puritans turn in their graves. Maybe Torrie can dress like a pilgrim, and Dawn can dress like a witch. Now THAT would piss the puritans off.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 27, 2002 I'd bet alot because it's not going to happen. First of all Beniot and Angle beat both Guerreros last week so they won't do it two straight weeks. Secondly them winning the belts would further set back their brewing feud and breakup which hopefully will be happening soon.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted November 27, 2002 Yeah, but look at the turn-around rate for smackdown champions. They are changed on a weekly basis.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted November 27, 2002 I see Benoit turning on Angle and going with the Guerreros...but then again, I see Angle doing it too. Too hard to call cause Heymans' booked it really well.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted November 27, 2002 Nothing of importance will happen on this show, because noone will be watching. It is Thanksgiving!
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 27, 2002 I don't think either will turn yet. They will have both show hints of turning in order to gauge crowd reactions before they pull the trigger. I'd say the turn won't occur until the PPV. So expect another uneasy staredown between them at the end of the match.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted November 27, 2002 They better add some more matches.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted November 27, 2002 And now the million dollar question...will Torrie ever put over Dawn Marie? Kinda dumb to have such a one sided feud, plus the fact that's it's very unentertaining doesn't help matters much.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted November 27, 2002 It's amazing to see DM and TW get more time than the cruiserweights. By amazing, I mean completely disturbling. And by completely disturbing, I mean just like the WWF.
Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted November 27, 2002 wwe should send Raven to smackdown. Let Paul book him again. Smackdown needs new talent to freshen up the show, I love angle and benoit but I want to see them wrestle different people. Just restart the Raven character, have smackdown open with a shot of Raven sitting in an alley in some crappy slum and have him cut some vicious promos on how angle is an olympic pretty boy and how he wants angle to feel his pain. The raven character only works if you make the fans almost have sympathy for him, but hate him because his actions are so violent. The biggest reason Raven has never really worked as a character since he left WCW the first time is because he is so beatable, his David Koresh character only works if it seems the only thing that will stop him is death, which he doesn't seem to be afraid of. You must take some risks with his character, some of his anti god rhetoric will offend the population but thats what made his character so good in 1994-97. Angle needs surgery on his knee, have Raven injure him, not one of those stupid over the top getting crushed by an ambulance injuries but something more realistic such as a piledriver on the concrete floor. Don't give Raven a flock, give him a nest like he had in ECW, the difference was each member of the nest had a reason why they were there, unlike in WCW where the flock was just a group of losers. Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted November 27, 2002 Credit PWTorch.com: Matches may be out of sequence but it is everything. Dark Matches 1)Super J v Doug Basham: Super J wins via roll-up. 2)Shelton Benjamin and R.C. Haas v Shannon Moore and Spanky: Benjamin pins Spanky for the win. Velocity Tapings begin 1) Redd Dogg v Rikishi: Rikishi hits all signature spots and hits the Bonzai drop for the win. 2) John Cena with B-Squared(Bull Buchanan) v Danny Danoochi: Cena wins. Cena raps for us at the beginning. 3) Albert and Bill DeMott v 2 jabronies: DeMott hits the No Laughing Matter for the win. 4) Crash v Funaki: Crash wins Smackdown begins Recap of events leading up to this week to begin the show. 1) Edge and Rey v John Cena(with B-squared)and Matt Hardy: Hardy wins when he rolls-up up Rey and grabs the ropes. 2) Stephanie comes to the ring to tell us her big announcement that she is suspending Brock Lesnar. He is then forced to leave the arena as the hired police forced told him to. 3) Chuck Palumbo v Tajiri: Tajiri wins with the mist and a kick to the head. Backstage with Stephanie and Kurt, talks about her Aunt Flo that visits monthly. Kurt didn't seem to get it and said he wishes he had an aunt that visited him every month. Really needed to know that it was that time of the month for Stephanie. Heyman and Show run into Matt Hardy. Hardy says he could beat Lesnar if he was face to face with him, Heyman agrees and they leave. 4) Los Guerreros v Angle and Benoit: Awesome match, not as good as prior matches but the best match on Smackdown and should come off well on t.v. Los Guerreros win with a belt shot to Benoit. Moolah is shown backstage in Stephanie's office and Stephanie tells her she has a match for her tonight. Yeah!! Billy Kidman and Torrie are talking prior to the Pilgrim Fashion show. 5) Torrie wins the Pilgrim Fashion show with a pumpkin shot to the head of Dawn Marie. Al Wilson (Mr. Charisma) gets on the mic and bores everyone to death. He is also wearing a turkey suit and the Cat rips into him...it is hysterical. Marc "Mike" Lloyd interviews one of the ring crew guys who supposedly sold Lesnar a ticket back in the arena he was barred from. The ring crew guy (playing a scalper) says he doesn't know what Lloyd is talking about and runs away. Steiner arrives sometime in a limo and is asked by Lloyd what he is doing here. He then flexes the peaks and walks away. 6) Kidman v Crash for cruiserweight title: Kidman wins with Shooting Star Press. Steiner runs into Noble and Nidia backstage and Noble goes to greet Steiner and Steiner blows him off but grabs a large hunk of the junk in Nidia's trunk and walks off. Noble gets pissed and goes out to the ring to call out Steiner. Steiner comes out to a big pop and destroys Noble. Hits the Gorilla Press Slam and the Exploder. Talks about his freaks and his peaks and leaves. Main event: Moolah v Big Show with Heyman: MOTY candidate, not really. Heyman cuts a promo, Show goes to chokeslam Moolah, Lesnar comes out of the crowd and beats on Show. Paul runs up the ramp and Lesnar hits the F5 through the announce table on Show. Lesnar walks up the ramp and the rent-a-cops block him from exiting with Stephanie standing behind them. The end. *sigh* No turn, unless it was deliberately left out of this report, which I wouldn't doubt. Steiner destroys Noble.... YAY!! On the bright side, Rikishi gets demoted to Velocity! (B-Squared?? )
