psychological test

Recommended Posts

Guest DeputyHawk

randomly got this is my email. interesting.....

This is a genuine psychological test. It is a story about a girl. Whilst at the funeral of her own mother, she met this guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be, that she fell in love with him there and then... A few days later the girl killed her own sister.

Question: What is her motive in killing her sister? DON'T Scroll down until

you have thought what your own answer is to this question!!!!!

*Answer: She was hoping that the guy would appear at the funeral again. If

you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by

a famous US psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a

killer.

Many arrested serial killers took part in this test and answered it correctly.

If you didn't answer correctly - good for you. If your friends hit the jackpot,

may I suggest that you keep your distance. (If you got the answer correct,

please let me know so I can take you off my distribution list...)

alarmed to say i instantly thought the correct answer, but more as a joke in that i couldn't guess what answer it was they would be looking for. now i'm all confused. is an ironic pyschopath the same as a real psychopath? so anyway, who thinks like a kill-ehr?

My answer was a theory that she was a twin, and the guy fell for her twin sister, which sent her into a psychological tailspin of feeling inferior to someone that might be considered her equal.

But I don't think it's an accurate test of whether you could be a psychopath. It could just mean that you have the social intelligence to form a plan of how to lure someone to a social event similar to the one you originally met them at. Having the heart to murder someone is a whole other ballgame, in my opinion.

I figured the guy had a thing for her sister. So, with all my mental problems(:) ), I'm not a psychopath.

I said that it turned out that the guy was her sister.

I thought that if she met her dream guy at one funeral, she was hoping to meet another guy at her sisters funeral who was even better.

I just figured it was her sister's husband.

So did I, Kinetic.

*is not a psychopath*

And I will join the both of you in that. Ahhh... One less thing to concern myself with! Or whatever...

Funny, I thought the girl was just covering her tracks because she was afraid her sister would catch on that she killed her mother.

Let me state once again: Snopes is the best fucking website in the world. (And I thought it was the sister's husband too.)

I figured she just felt like killing her sister, the guy was unrelated to the situation.

I think my answer was better than the solution, and truly shows a disturbing level of psychosis.

I'm not surprised that Snopes debunked this one, though. Sadly, I took enough psychology courses in college to know that a one-question test isn't going to spot a psycho. It's an entertaining diversion, though, especially when the answerers don't take it seriously.

Exactly, any psychological test needs at least a hundred or more questions for it to have any value at all. (And I don't put much value in any test, humans are far too unique and individual to be reduced to numbers.)

I just thought the guy fucked the sister.
