Guest Nevermortal Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Today I broke my thumb in two places by falling down my stairs. And I use that phrase loosely. I actually fell from my top step all the way down to the landing. I crashed through a gigantic box of Christmas ornaments to boot. Now I type very slowly with a cast that goes up to my elbow. Curse my slippery railing! Curse it to hell!
Guest Ace309 Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Ouch, man. Hand/arm injuries are incredibly annoying. I know, as I've got plates in my left arm from when I broke both bones.
Guest bob_barron Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Karma for hating Regal!!!! In all seriousness- I hope you feel better
Guest BaldFish Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Looks like you'll have to use the other one to jack off for a while. Sorry, dude. On the plus side, it'll feel like it's someone else..
Guest bravesfan Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Looks like you'll have to use the other one to jack off for a while. Sorry, dude. On the plus side, it'll feel like it's someone else ...... Get better Mortal. Fracturing my wrist sucked big-time, missed out on state basketball championships, etc.
Guest treble charged Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Shit, breaking your thumb and having the cast go all the way up to your elbow? You must've really done a number on that thing.
Guest dreamer420 Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Be sure to let it heel properly. I broke my hand a couple of years ago and took the cast off myself way too early. Now it still hurts to this day.
Guest CanadianChris Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Casts are tricky. I shattered my elbow 12 years ago, and the cast ended up covering my entire arm, from my shoulder down to half my hand. Dominant arm, of course. Hope you feel better...
Guest SP-1 Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 I've never broken anything, to my knowledge. The closest I've come is a football injury in Middle School, and aggravating it seriously before what would have been my first high school football game. F'ed up most of the ligaments and such in the lower half of my left leg. The knee still gives out on me from time to time. I imagine breaking something is a tad worse. Though, you sound like you really lucked out having fallen down stairs and such. Take it easy and rest up bro. And feel better.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Sorry to hear that. Closest I've ever come to a hand injury is whacking the shit out of my thumb playing basketball, then hitting the same thumb roughly 10 minutes later blocking a pass in the same game. Bruised the hell out of it for a week, but nothing broken/torn/whatever.
Guest Nevermortal Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 As soon as I can I'm gonna have someone write "thesmartmarks.com" on the cast and put up a picture.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Damn, that sucks dude. I haven't broken anything, but I have sprained my ankle twice. A broken ankle would be alot worse I can imagine. Anyways, rest it up and get better soon.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Get well soon, broken fingers hurt so much. Seriously, it was so much worse to break 3 fingers than when I broke my wrist. I actually didn't find out my wrist was broken for 3 days after it happened. I had football practice those 3 days too. It hurt, but not so much that I thought it was broken or anything.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 head injuries suck the are
Guest Y2BigJ Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 In the past month i fractured a bone ion my hand while highly intoxicated, and yesterday I cut my thumb and hit an artery while drunk. What is the best course of action stop drinking or cut of my hands?
Guest EL BRUJ0 Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Looks like you'll have to use the other one to jack off for a while. Sorry, dude. On the plus side, it'll feel like it's someone else. To get the full "stranger" effect, have your good hand fall asleep before making hand love.
Guest Choken One Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Nothing injured on my hand but I know the pain of a Cast on my Arm (Ruptered Tricep)...Good luck.
Guest HBK16 Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Dreamer420 is so right. I broke my wrist in 1st grade and my mom took off the cast early herself cuz she was annoyed by it. She took it off with the cast. That was more scary than actually breaking it. But my hand never healed properly and there is a big lump on the top of my wrist. Also when I was a freshman in HS I broke my finger playing football. I didnt feel a thing. The only time it hurt was when they had to re adjust it into place. That was a bitch. They gave me a choice of giving me injections inbetween my fingers or just do it without the numbess. Fuck needles in my fingers. It wasnt that bad though.
Guest Choken One Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 how did it annoy YOUR mother?
