Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted November 29, 2002 Also, Heyman isn't an owner-type that constantly screws Brock with his power. Heyman has to use his brain to beat Lesnar, so it might be interesting. Now, if Heyman hooks up with Steph, then I will complain. It's like Heyman is Lex Luthor, and Brock is Superman. (Steph is Jor-El?) I love it.
Guest Brian Report post Posted November 29, 2002 I disagre with the rhyno point. Rhyno seems to be a fairly competent worker. He seems to have a good feel for working crowds while keeping his match flow and story together.
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted November 29, 2002 Does anyone remember when BOTH of the Hardyz beat Big Show seperately..... and beat Brock with a chair multiple times and he smiled?? god damn... Brock should be able to walk over Big Show AND Paul like a weedwacker on human skin...
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted November 29, 2002 He usually does walk all over them. I bet in the rematch he squashes Show. Still doesn't excuse giving Show the title. Oh well maybe they'll say it was all a big fluke.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted November 29, 2002 This probably warrants a whole different thread - but the WWF *is* rehashing A LOT of old angles. Benoit/Angle is Austin/HBK or any other 'wacky love/hate tag team' Brock/Big Show is Austin/Mcmahon (including remorseful police officers and rebelling against them) Victoria/Trish is Jazz/Trish Batista is... well, you name it "Insert big menacing monster here" Hell, even the HHH necrophilia was just a copy of how he mocked Foley in 2000. Guest Brian Report post Posted November 29, 2002 There's nothing original and nothing they can do right now that would be original. It's pointless pointing these things out.
Guest Heel In Peril Report post Posted November 29, 2002 Everything is similar. Everything is totally different. Not everything is valuable.
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Report post Posted November 29, 2002 In professional wrestling, there are bascially 6 different storylines you can do. I forgot some but from what I can remember, the 6 basic storylines are the generic face vs. heel feud with each side getting wins. There's the best friend turned worst enemy. The rebel vs. Authority. And etc. The same 6 have been done since the beginning of wrestling. It's just that there were different workers and a little different in the booking in each but bascially there aren't realy alot of storylines to do. Does anyone know the other storylines? I think Nash/HBK did the same type of gimmick once before.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted November 29, 2002 Unbelievable. Is is too much to ask for the WWE braintrust to come up with ONE original idea??? Unfortunately, no. See, they were trying to do the whole wrestler vs. owner thing with Austin vs. Flair earlier this year. That was pretty much the same idea with Austin vs. Vince. If they go this route, it would be pretty much the same, except wrestler vs. manager. I can see it now....Lesnar vs. Heyman for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania 19. Heyman wins the Rumble to get the title shot
