Guest Jubuki Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 RF Video??? Say goodbye to your money. Look around at the other "I'm a newbie" posts here - there are a lot of them. Read the pinned message. You'll find your answers.
Guest Carbon Tiger Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Best advice I can give on tape buying is NEVER EVER order from RF Video I've heard nothing but bad things about them. For tapes try goldenboytapes.com the best prices anywhere and highspots.com for newer stuff. I'd go on some rambling diatride about my fav puro guys but I've already done that on another thread or two. But if you have questons about any wrestlers feel free to ask and I'll anwser to the best of my knowelege.
Guest Black Tiger Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 If your looking to get into Puro then here are a few tips. 1. Don't just get any tapes, check match listings for familiar faces. It sucks when you see a bunch of guys you don't know. 2. Watch in moderation at first, if you try to go through a whole tape you'll be bored and will be turned off to puro. 3. The best tape to start with is the WCW Japan Supershow, it's a look of some of New Japan's best guys (Hase, Lyger, AKIRA, Iizuka) and JR and Tony on commentary is much more relaxing than Japanese commentary.
