They could easily just make a generic cop movie, but instead they have to use characters from a TV show that very few people will remember. Dude, put the show on DVD, and come up with a better idea for a movie..Honestly, its been a long time since the show was on TV, it was doing reruns on FX but I think FX dumped them, or moved them to a different timeslot, and it was a solid show, but it wasn't a great show. Hollywood is out of ideas indeed. Next thing you know, they'll be trying to make a Miami Vice Movie without any returning cast members from the TV Show..oh wait.. I'm more alarmed by the last, unrelated paragraph... Depp, meanwhile, is currently finishing up shooting on Disney's live-action Pirates of the Caribbean, based on the famed Disneyland attraction. That film is slated to hit theaters in June 2003. I have to admit I still kinda want to see Country Bears but... Pirates of the Caribbean: The Movie?
