Guest bravesfan Report post Posted December 1, 2002 BPS' idea of ranking teams "where they'll be in a few weeks" seems like a better idea of ranking professional franchises. --Placing the Rockets in the top 12? They should be #16 at best...who will they turn to, if Francis gets knocked out again? Ming? MOOCHIE?!? --Despite the Laker's record, they should Top 10, no argument... --The Trail Blazers will self-destruct in a few weeks, count on that. It's 5 players each playing their own game, unload Stoudamire and Pippen at ANY COST, maybe just team towelboys in return or something. --The Sonics have a REALLY tough Eastern Conference schedule coming up, with 4 of their next 7 games, being opposed by the Nets, Pacers, 76ers and Pistons. If they win out, expect them to be Top 5 potential. --My Bulls deserve MUCH better.

The Rockets have the 3rd best record in the West, only behind only Dallas and Sacramento. Yao is getting more comfortable with each game. Cuttino Mobley, a 20ppg scorer, is set to return after missing the last couple of weeks. I'd say they deserve to be in the top 12. --The Trail Blazers will self-destruct in a few weeks, count on that. It's 5 players each playing their own game, unload Stoudamire and Pippen at ANY COST, maybe just team towelboys in return or something. Agreed that they need to get rid of Stoudamire, but getting rid of Pippen would be stupid. This is the last season on his contract. That's like 20 mil. off the salary cap. --The Sonics have a REALLY tough Eastern Conference schedule coming up, with 4 of their next 7 games, being opposed by the Nets, Pacers, 76ers and Pistons. If they win out, expect them to be Top 5 potential. Seattle has been struggling big time lately losing 6 of their last 7 games. They've got virtually no inside presence at all. Guest razazteca Report post Posted December 1, 2002 Spurs #10 not bad, at least they are above the Lakers. The inconsistancy of the bench is a problem as Malik Rose is a good 6 man but has is problematic at getting points and minutes now that Steve Smith and Stephon Jackson are playing.
