Guest Kinetic Report post Posted December 2, 2002 I'm done with this. The post is up in General Chat and I will now and forever refrain from making any bets of any sort. If you gave me the opportunity to pick the Globetrotters over the Generals right now, I'd pass it up. I've learned my lesson.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted December 2, 2002 The Ravens have a shot at the playoffs... AFC North Pittsburgh 7-4-1 Baltimore 6-6 Cleveland 6-6 Ravens Schedule: New Orleans (pretty big game for both teams) at Houston Cleveland at Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Schedule: Houston Carolina at Tampa Bay (MNF) Baltimore Cleveland Schedule: at Jacksonville Indianapolis at Baltimore Atlanta The week 17 matchup vs Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh could be for the Division. Cleveland looks terrible (they lost to the Panthers, and the Ravens beat them earlier this year) and Pittsburgh didn't look to great vs Jacksonville.

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted December 2, 2002 Ravens will lose two...Cleveland will lose one I think you mean Cleveland will win one..they might be able to beat Jacksonville, but they have no chance against Indy/Atlanta and most importantly the Ravens. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 2, 2002 Hmm well seeing as how Baltimore barely won the first time and that Ray Lewis is gone for the season I fail to see this "easy win" that you seem to see for Baltimore. Since when was Indy some untouchable team?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted December 2, 2002 Hmm well seeing as how Baltimore barely won the first time and that Ray Lewis is gone for the season I fail to see this "easy win" that you seem to see for Baltimore. Since when was Indy some untouchable team? Barely..only after Tim Couch stinks up the first 3 quarters as the Browns are shut out. Couch gets hurt (and booed by the Browns fans) and then Holcomb comes in after the Ravens lose Ray Lewis and they had the big lead (23-0) and the defense got a little to laid back and comfortable in the 4th which is very uncharacteristic of the defense.. The Ravens are 3-3 without Ray Lewis, so its not like they are are a worse team without him (3-3 with him) so that doesnt matter. And last time I checked, the Colts have won 4 straight (tied with the Jets current 4 Game win streak) and gotten back into the AFC South lead after a slow start to the season.
