Guest bob_barron Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 From wrestlingobserver- --Hopefully they'll be at least announcing the main event matches for Armageddon at television this week. The current plan is Shawn Michaels vs. HHH in a singles match, and not a three-way as the TV would have led you to want to see. At this point, the planned Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar match is being held off until Royal Rumble.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 HHH and HBK continue to hold people down out of the main event, and Big Show with the belt for another month... Vince is on the crackpipe.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 I think they should hold off HBK v. HHH till WM and HHH can finish him off once and for all
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Huh. I'd expect the three-way on the Raw side, if only so they can drag out the HHH/HBK feud a little longer. I'm also a bit stumped as to who they'll throw against Big Show. They already fed him Edge two weeks ago, and no one else really has suitable build unless they push a Giant Killer Rey for a quick moment, or throw both Angle and Benoit in there and have them cost each other the title win. Both of those ideas are mega-wanky, so this looks odd.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 So brock and Show get SEPERATE people to squash in lousy matches at the PPV? Yay!
Guest bob_barron Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 I don't think Brock is gonna wrestle if they don't do Show v. Brock
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 So brock and Show get SEPERATE people to squash in lousy matches at the PPV? Yay! Won't Brock still be suspended, AS?
Guest Anglesault Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 I thought that was just until he was healed. Well good then. Now we just have to watch the Big Show squash some poor soul.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 I thought that was just until he was healed. Well good then. Now we just have to watch the Big Show squash some poor soul. It will probably be Angle, knowing Vince.

Now we just have to watch the Big Show squash some poor soul. It will probably be Angle, knowing Vince. Vince *loves* Angle. He's had one feud where he looked like a retard. But other than that, he's gotten more accolades, won more titles, and gotten wins over everyone. (Well, everyone a cowardly heel can)

Guest bob_barron Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 They should do the 3-way at Armageddon, put the title on either HHH or RVD and then have HHH cripple HBK again leading to a return match at XIX
Guest HartFan86 Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Big Show vs. Brock at Rumble...in BOSTON.....and I'm going? Kill..me...now.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Big Show vs. Brock at Rumble...in BOSTON.....and I'm going? Kill..me...now. You're gonna get to see Brock throw that fat fuck around like a ragdoll for 4 Minutes before F-5'ing him and winning the title a second time. I envy you.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Big Show vs. Brock at Rumble...in BOSTON.....and I'm going? Kill..me...now. You're gonna get to see Brock throw that fat fuck around like a ragdoll for 4 Minutes before F-5'ing him and winning the title a second time. I envy you. Why? That sounds terrible. Not the Big Show losing part, because I like that, and not just the Brock winning part, but the match will suck!
Guest Angle-plex Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Big Show vs. Brock at Rumble...in BOSTON.....and I'm going? Kill..me...now. *Is glad he doesn't live in Boston anymore* *remembers he lives in Kansas* *Wishes he still lived in Boston*

And that's all that matters. (To me of course. And Timothy Dalton)
Guest Anglesault Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Something to contemplate. After the Rumble, both these guys will be two time champs. Chris Benoit has never held the belt.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Something to contemplate. After the Rumble, both these guys will be two time champs. Chris Benoit has never held the belt. Well he's had the WCW Belt. Yeah, I know...
ChrisMWaters Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Benoit is the modern-age Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, minus the career-ending injury

It's some ploy that's supposed to help Brock. Fuck. They wouldn't sacrifice Angle to Show in the name of Brock, would they?
Guest Kamui Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 First off, the idea that they're gonna job Angle to Show is BS. Even Vince knows that Angle is more important than the fucking Big Show, guys- he knows that Angle & Benoit are both more important than Slow, which is why neither of them got the belt as the Pussified Holdover Champion for Brock to Kill. The fact that Show got "chosen" to be the guy for Brock to kill week after week to cement his babyface turn isn't exactly an honor, guys, so stop acting like it is. Angle's in the middle of a long, drawn-out face turn if you haven't noticed. No point in having Show squash him. Even Vince isn't THAT stupid. -Duo
Guest DJ Jeff Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 So instead of pushing RVD to win the World Title at Armageddon in a Triple Threat match, they're going with HBK vs. HHH for the World Title? Damn, does Vince not realize that we don't want to see HBK vs. HHH at Armageddon? Well, I know I don't want to see it anyways. I'd much rather the Triple Threat match. As for Big Show vs. Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, that's fine as long as Lesnar wins the WWE Title.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 I love it. RVD gets taken out like a bitch by HHH and then gets to get dropped back to the midcard. Big thumbs up for that one. HHH vs. HBK 3...in a match where we KNOW HHH is winning.... Big Show vs. Brock 2 at the Rumble...where Brock will win...but it's still BIG SHOW vs. Brock. AND Show gets to win again this month yeah...can't wait.
Guest BobBacklundRules Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 they better have some kick ass gimmick matches to pull those buy rates out of the crapper

Both of those ideas are mega-wanky, so this looks odd. You feed Big Show Edge and basically have Edge be made into a complete and total bitch, then depush the guy by way of killing his singles push in it's tracks and ship his sorry ass to Raw to reunite with Christian and make the Raw tag team division worthwhile.....
Guest Brian Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Well, they'll probably do Benoit/Angle vs. Guerreros. Benoit needs to snap during the turn because he couldn't take teaming with Angle anymore.
