Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted December 2, 2002 The following notes are from Jemery Borash and his NWATNA.com column. -NWATNA.com has been redesigned. There is some talk of him and Bob Ryder reuniting to do a new audio show for the site. -Said he supports the entire Vince Russo situation as long as it "drums up" interest. -Hinted that there was much more to the Sean Waltman-TNA story than what has been reported, but kept his comments to himself. Confirmed again that Waltman is gone from TNA. -Said that the wrestling business is very dead today. -Praised Jerry Lynn for being a backstage leader and said the TNA wrestling school will open soon with Lynn as a trainer. -Both Borash and Jeff Jarrett will work the WWA tour in Europe next week. -Matches for the next PPV: *Amazing Red vs. AJ Styles vs. Kid Kash vs. Unnamed Man - Double Elimination X Match *The SAT vs. Divine Storm *Jerry Lynn vs. Sonny Siaki - X Division Title Match who will it be? Daniels? Am. Dragon? Low-Ki?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 I'd imagine it will be EZ Money or someone of the like. No one new or returning.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted December 2, 2002 then why not advertise him?
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 My bet on EZ Money too. I can't believe they haven't done EZ Money vs. Kid Kash yet!!! They had a series of great matches in ECW, and an awesome match with each other on the last Thunder during their short WCW runs.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 It's possible that they haven't been able to find someone to commit to the date yet. If EZ Money has a prior commitment...then they have to find someone else. Looking at the 3 other guys, it's obvious that they don't want to throw Jorge Estrada or Crimson Dragon in unless they absolutely have too.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 If it's LowKi, I'm going to splooge myself... That said, the tissues will NOT be handy, because I think LowKi's still doing ZeroOne work, right? Probably be EZ Money.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 The thing is that TNA doesn't know what Low Ki, Jimmy Yang and Christopher Daniels schedules for Zero-One are far enough in advance to book shows with them in mind...so they just don't book them at all anymore. This match looks like a perfect opportunity for one of those 3 guys to work a match for TNA on the fly... but they may be in Japan right now...and they may not. Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 according to TotalNonStop.com it will be EZMoney (and they seem to have an inside connection). From their preview: The Shadow of Vince Russo has fallen upon TNA. Last week, Russo made his presence known in a big way, interrupting a scheduled interview between Mike Tenay and Jeff Jarrett. During his tirade, Russo made it clear to the world that were it not for Vince Russo, there would never have been a Jeff Jarrett. The "Anti-Christ of Wrestling" has promised some major changes for TNA starting December 4, and if there's one thing that Russo has taught us is that the only thing for sure is that nothing's for sure. What can we expect this Wednesday from the Asylum? What will Jeff Jarrett have to say about it? Sonny Siaki demands competition. For weeks, he's been spinning his wheels in the mud, fighting opponents that can't hold a flame to Sonny's talent and ring prowess. Well, as the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for. This Wednesday, Sonny Siaki will get his competition, in the form of X Champion Jerry Lynn. There's no love lost between these two athletes, and if their past encounters are any indication, this match should set the Sports Arena on fire. If Siaki can dethrone Jerry Lynn as the X Champion, then he's got even more competition heading his way. In a Four Way Double Elimination X Division Match to determine Number One Contendership, A.J. Styles will lock up with E.Z. Money, The Amazing Red, and Kid Kash! For the past month, crowd favorites Chris Harris and James Storm have engaged in a bitter, bloody feud with "Bulldozer" Brian Lee and Slash, Disciples of the New Church. This week on TNA, Chris Harris will meet Brian Lee, while James Storm faces off the deranged Slash. The winners of these two contests will meet Father James Mitchell in a Bull Rope Match. Could America's Most Wanted finally get their much sought after revenge against the leader of the New Church? It's going to be a night to remember in Music City. In what could be the biggest, most controversial night in NWA history, Vince Russo is sure to turn heads and cause jaws to drop. If there's ever been a MUST-SEE TNA Pay Per View, this is it. Jump on the wagon and get in on the groundfloor as the world of professional wrestling is changed forever.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 That settles that then. AJ better not win. The other three guys are the next tier of X guys. Note to TNA: Find Elix Skipper and bring back Yang, Ki and Daniels whenever possible. That gives them a stacked X division and allows Lynn to move up to the heavyweights where he should be by now. Guest What? Report post Posted December 2, 2002 My bet on EZ Money too. I can't believe they haven't done EZ Money vs. Kid Kash yet!!! They had a series of great matches in ECW, and an awesome match with each other on the last Thunder during their short WCW runs. To be honest, their matches were OK. The one move that got them noticed is the Mid-air-canrana, and they kept trying to cash in on that (no pun intended). Their final match on Thunder was basically the "Mid-air-rana" match, which was cool the first time, but after almost everyone could see it thanks to the internet, friends, etc., the spot became less and less cool. Although, I did mark for it...I don't think I would want to see it again. I'd rather book Kash/Red vs. Styles/Money...just for that extra flavor. I dunno, though...I don't really watch TNA...
