I stopped colleting when the #0 books came out.

 

What's Batman been up to since? I know they had an earthquake destroy Gotham but I don;t know what happened with it. I assume Bruce Wayne is still Batman, not Dick Grayson as they were teasing around the time I quit.

Did Alfred come back?

Does Batman still work with Robin, now that Robin's book has been out for 9 years or so?

Any other major events (deaths, injuries, new characters) in the last 9 years?

I haven't followed Bats very closely, but here are bits and pieces.

 

after the Earthquake, Gotham was decleared off limits to the rest of the country. With Superman's help, Bat's got everything back to normal. I think it ended up being Luthor's idea.

 

The assorted Robins and Batgirls all work together. Once in a while, Batman calls in a favor, but they aren't following him around everywhere.

 

The latest arc that I'm aware of is Bruce Wayne being acused (framed) of murder. Apparently, Bruce decides breaking out of prison is a good way to clear his name, and so that's what he does. Meanwhile, Bats went goofy for his new female bodyguard Sasha. Unfortunatley, she disappered to do some mysterious work for some mysterious company, and Bats is trying to get the story. I've also heard the're doing a lame "There is only the Bat, Wayne is dead" story, but I hope that's not true.

 

Anyway, Sass will hopefully clear all this up. Actually, just ignore this post.
