I might get some serious flak for posting this in a predominantly-PC environment, but I really, really love using Macs. Very intuitive, easy learning curve, not prone to crashing, easy on the eyes (their designs are top-notch), great for all types of creative media (graphics, music, video), somewhat pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. I've been using them for almost 10 years, and it just keeps getting better. When I think of PCs, the look and feel of them make me think of them as machines that I have to work on. Macs make me want to just jump right in and work, play, create, whatever. They're so conducive to wanting to learn about all the things you can do on a computer.

I'm a Mac user, and I'm never going to switch.

Anyone else out there want to express their love of Macs? Or am I shouting down an empty well?

(BTW, as much as this is an open forum, I would appreciate it if this thread wasn't turned into a pissing contest between Macs and PCs. I just want to know if there are any Mac users in here. If it ends up that way through the natural evolution of things, so be it. But please be gentle... there's only 5% of us out there, you know ;) )

macs are cool, when I was a consultant/admin for the newspaper I used to work for, we had macs to do art work for ads and such. They are real quick pretty easy to use. To top it off, they never had a problem while I was there. Too bad I love my pc way to much to switch.

to me a Mac is only a business machine and thats it. I remember back in the day I had a friend who had a Mac with a cd burner but instead of using WAV files for music AIFF was used.

Weird I tell you

I will never switch to Mac simply because when I go to a store the PC section has several rows of merchandise while the MAC only has maybe one shelf.
