Guest FeArHaVoC Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Word is that WWE is asking just about every performer who has ever appeared on RAW to make a special appearance on the upcoming RAW 10th Anniversary show that will air in January. It will be very interesting to see who exactly shows up. Credit: 1wrestling.com Who besides Bret Hart, Steve Austin & Mick Foley are even worth a damn?

Guest Cataclysm911 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Yeah, I just read that. I'm trying to think of anyone who could show up that would matter. Austin & Bret Hart came to mind.
Guest SP-1 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 If Foley appeared, I would lose bowel control. If Bret shows up. It is likely I could have a heart attack and die on the spot, with my last word being, "he came back . . . bah gawd . . . "
Guest Imarkout4chrisdaniels Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 I would almost bet any amount of money in the world that the 10th Anniversary Raw will have the return of Steve Austin. The Rumble would also be an excellent place for his return, but I get the feeling he will be on there when they reveal the Greatest Raw Moment. He could come out and say the Greatest Raw Moment was the time he returned to the WWE after being gone close to a year.
Guest eiker_ir Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 last night i had a dream that i was watching the last ever Raw cuz the WWE was going out of bussines iand i remember all the stars watching a a tribute video or something in the titantron...and u could see Bret, Hall, Jarret, Hogan, etc... al in the ring at the same time...if something like that happens at raw it would be pretty cool.... just saying
Guest Youth N Asia Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 I think Bret coming back would give me a boner...not in a gay way or anything...but damn. Austin would be cool....Foley? ehh, he's come back enough times already, wouldn't do much for me. Who would I mark for: -TAKA -Rhyno -The Headbangers
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 I see Hogan, Austin, and Rock appearing on the show for sure. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to see Waltman, Nash, and Hall stumble out too.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Shit, I didn't even think of good ol' Cactus. Fucking A.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Who people would mark out for Steve Austin Brett Hart Mick Foley Hulk Hogan (face to face with Austin) The Rock (if he's not back before than) Randy Savage Roddy Pipper Legion of Doom (the last 3 are one time only) Who the WWE will get Ludvig Borga The Goon Knuckleball Schwarz Giant Gonzales Waylon Mercy
Guest buffybeast Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 I definitely agree that the RAW anniversary show will mark the return of the Rattlesnake. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Bret Hart make a return since it's been reported that Bret and Vince have been in talks recently. I'd love to see Sid and Vader return. Oh my fucking God, I would have a mark orgasm if Vader came out and stiffed Vince (or Trips for that matter).
Guest Youth N Asia Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Who the WWE will get Ludvig Borga The Goon Knuckleball Schwarz Giant Gonzales Waylon Mercy You say it like it's a bad thing...Mercy was the fuckin man, bro
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Oh my goodness. I can't believe all the names that are coming up that I completely forgot about. Sid Vader Macho Man Honky Tonk Man? Greg Valentine Hot Rod LoD Ted Dibiase? Steamboat? Barry fucking Windham?? PLZ!
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 The Anniversary show isn't a live Raw, right? I thought it was only a "Special Recap" of the 10 Years? Like King & JR hosting or something and current and former "Stars" talking about past events?
Guest SP-1 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 If Savage or Honky Tonk Man returned, I'd mark out BIG TIME. I also think that it would be a good spot for an Austin return. That or the Rumble, as I believe someone else stated. I'm most psyched at the thought Bret showing up. Even though it probably won't happen, I can dream about it.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Honky Tonk Man I doubt would come onto a Raw Anniversarry special. He and Lawler have been having problems in real life. I'd like to see Savage and Heenan on it...as they were both part of the original Raw broadcast team.
Guest Brian Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 I'm expecting only Austin and Hart. They're both back on decent terms with McMahon and that being such a big show. Maybe Savage.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Bastion Booger could show up. I still remember him on commentary one night and eating like 10 pizzas
Guest eiker_ir Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 the one i'm looking forward the most to see is Bret and guys that i've not seen in a long time like Savage, Sid, Vader, etc....
Guest Vern Gagne Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 How great would it be to hear. "Pomp and Circumstance", the Bagpipes, The originial Stone Cold Music, and the "Excellence of Execution" (whatever Hart's theme is called)
Guest Brian Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Side note: Vader's dad dies two weeks ago and he had the choice to go home but decided to stay with NOAH in Japan to finish up the tour which ends Saturday. So I would doubt unless Vince is willing to negotiate that he'd go out of his way to get Vader.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 From WWE.com "Over the past 10 years, RAW has provided fans with many memorable moments -- Rock's Stone Cold funeral, DX invades WCW, the last Nitro, 1-2-3 Kid defeats Razor Ramon... the list goes on and on. While all of these RAW moments are memorable, there can only be one Greatest RAW Moment of All-time. On Tuesday, January 14 on TNN, WWE will announce the No. 1 moment during the RAW 10th Anniversary special." It's not even a Live Raw. Unless someone shows up the night before on Raw to help promote the show. Plus, the Royal Rumble is that Sunday following.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Steamboat never appeared on RAW. I'd mark out hardcore if a bunch of old RAW guys showed up
Guest imajackoff? Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Im personally hoping for a plastered Jake Roberts.
Guest eiker_ir Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 i think it sucks it's not a live show i would like to see the pops that the returning guys would get...
Guest Youth N Asia Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Im personally hoping for a plastered Jake Roberts. Cut to a shot backstage. Jake, Scott, Kev, X pac, and Hawk just shitfaced and fighting with security...and the best part, it wasn't part of the show
Guest evilhomer Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Let's see if we can get Ed Leslie out and make an appearance with each of the characters he's played. That would probably take up the whole show (which just might be better than watching Triple uH).
Guest jester Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 They'll bring these old guys back, and half will beat Jericho. The other half will get pedigreed.
Guest HartFan86 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 It's not live? That's gay. And if Bret comes back....I'll probably die.
