Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted December 4, 2002 Sorry I'm late, I couldn't get on the site yesterday. There are some good, cheapie titles this week. Austin Powers in Goldmember The 3rd in the Powers trilogy arrives on DVD in an expected fully loaded special edition. I wasn't big on the 2nd film, but I found this one enjoyable, and the special features look pretty good. Bad Influence This first of the MGM cheapies is this fun psychological thriller starring Rob Lowe as a sociopath who twists James Spader's life around. The bargain DVD includes a widescreen transfer and the trailer. Blue Steel One of my favourite films features Jamie Lee Curtis as a cop being tormented by a vicious serial killer played by Ron Silver. Another MGM bargain disc. Miami Blues MGM release of the fun dark comedy features a widescreen transfer and the trailer. My Neighbor Totoro Original, fun anime for children of all ages that is full of imagination and great animation arrives on DVD in fullscreen, with no features and a very low price tag to compensate. Rush Undercover cops getting a little too involved the in world of drugs they are trying to stop arrives on DVD. This is another MGM bargain release, but the disc features a new 5.1 audio track, commentary from the director, the trailer and a music video. Pretty sweet for the price. Slayground Anchor Bay release of the crime thriller featuring Peter Coyote as a theif being stalked by a crazy hitman in an amusement part. State of Grace Violent, gritty film about Hell's Kitchen featuring great performances by Sean Penn and Gary Oldman arrives on DVD in widescreen, with a cheap price thanks to MGM. 'Till next week. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 4, 2002 I didn't like Goldmember that much, but I have the other two and it's only $14.99 so I'll complete the trilogy. I'm also getting Lilo & Stitch I was going to get Black Christmas, but it sounds like it can't be found yet.
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted December 4, 2002 I'm hoping to get "Lilo" as well... maybe Christmas time. I would also like to get some of the Walt Disney Treasures series... I'm not sure if they came out this week or last week. But, hey, I still want them.
Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted December 5, 2002 I was going to get Black Christmas, but it sounds like it can't be found yet. Yeah, I believe it was delayed until December 17th. It's a Canadian DVD being produced by a Canadian company, and it's not available anywhere here yet, although someone is selling it on eBay.

Guest razazteca Report post Posted December 6, 2002 I would buy Austin Powers 3 if I could edit out all the scenes with Michael Myers as Goldmember and replace it with Michael Caine scenes.
