So the ratings drop when everyone knows HHH will be there.

Did the post a break down of the ratings? Or does that come out in the Newsletter?

well it looks like 3.3-3.5 will be the norm for Raw until something eventfull happens like shows right after PPVs or a title change.

RVd Headlines Raw against Booker T & Chris Jericho.

Ratings 3.7

RVD Headlines Raw against Shawn Michaels

Ratings 3.4

RVD Headlines Raw against Triple H

Something is wrong here.

Steiner is more wasted money. He didn't help ratings at all. Good job Vince. That is what you get when you bury your stars and you have to bring in a quick fix. The only person he has left to try and bring in now is Goldberg, since Sting is deadset against going to WWE.

if HHH was in the Bautista segment both of them would be over :firedevil:

That won't happen. Bautista might look more impressive then Triple H. We can't have that now.

You know when the ratings will go up again? Four words for ya:

Stone Cold Steve Austin

It wouldn't take much to get and keep Raw's ratings higher. Fans still show that they want to be interested in Raw as witnessed by the nearly 4 ratings on occasion.

There just something that sends them running away after trying to give Raw another chance.

Gee...I wonder what "that" could be.

might as well just group all of the roid wrestlers together and let them go roid rage to spike the ratings cause nothing else is working.

There are not enough Roid Rages Bawh Gawd, 2 minute squashes are not working

Yeah for a few weeks. Austin isn't a savior, WWe will still be in trouble.

The wrestlers aren't the problem with WWe. Until they solve the problem it won't matter who they bring in or back.

I honestly don't give a shit about Austin's return TV wise. I'd just like him to return to keep HHH in check.

Don't want to harp on this long giving fact here...but they need a steady entertaining storyline...a cliffhanger sort 2 speak.

I'm personally bored with HHH and HBK...i never really was a fan of HBK to begin with.

It's good to see them having Booker/Jericho stay alive...but give them some more backstage interaction. I'm still pumped from that double match they had. That match had me on the edge of my seat.

Steve Austin being gone isn't killing WWE. The split is killing WWE, both in ratings and attendance.

storylines do not mean anything if the end resulting WRESTLING MATCH on a PPV is boring or predictable.

Booker T & Godust vs Jericho & Christian got the biggest pops with no storyline other than "I am not a Sucka"

Need I remind you of the bps plan for recovery?

Dating all the way back to February.

Step 1: Fire HHH and Undertaker

The product CANNOT and WILL NOT grow as long as they are around. Hogan's era was hot because no one was there to locker room lead him into jobbing all the time.

Austin's era was hot because the whole older generation was gone, except for Taker who adapted to the new generation instead of holding back progress like this time.

Once step 1 is complete, I will reveal step 2.

See you in a few decades!

He's not wasted money so much as being wasted creatively. This free-agent crap has him doing jack squat, just showing up and beating up lower-card wrestlers, not wrestling, and with no direction whatsoever...

all it takes is an injury so the "up and coming stars" can make that step up. 3.7 rating is the proof

If creative was working, the split wouldn't be much of a problem. It still might hurt some house shows, but when there are people being elevated and new names being pumped for money, that's not as much of a factor with people.

Actually, I think it would be interesting to see how many fans stopped watching wrestling because Austin left.

You can find that out now with a little research.

Find the rating for the last Raw that Austin appeared on and compare it to the Raws since he's been gone.

Take the rating of the last Raw Austin and compare it the highest rated Raw since he's been gone. Then you will have a rough estimate of how much of a rating Austin meant.

Yeah, I'll do it sometime, just not right now.

not to rub it in but............

AHAHAHAHAHA!! I knew it. I went in the RAW folder the night after reading the results and said there was no way this crap could get above 3.3, and it didnt! Sadly this probably means RVD wont be main eventing alot of RAWs soon... HHH and HBK will! See, this is RVDs fault, HHH was obviously only in like 3 segments from what I read... HAHAHAH! You know its getting soo bad, I almost want to watch just to make fun of it! In Fact I just might if GOD wins at CrApAgeddon... No wander noone is happy on RAW, they have no reason to be!

I already know the excuse this week, its that damn RVD, he just KILLS the ratings.........sez Vince.

Vince has no patience with the young talent right now it seems. Austin & Rock weren't an overnight success, the fans slowly grew on them and spread word-of-mouth. Looks like Vince is just looking for someone to INSTANTLY pop a rating....it aint gonna happen. RVD had a slight chance of doing that 8 months ago, but he has been pushed all the way to NOWHERE for about 6 straight months worth of Raw and PPVS...and the marks have taken notice so he could be ruined for awhile as far as ratings go.....FU VINCE.

What they need is a fued that lasts over the a year or something, like the old Austin/McMahon saga, something that each participant gets a win at a PPV in different matches, they started with Angle and Benoit, but they just turned them into a team (sigh)

as for Raw, it is looking like being Steiner and Trip or Trip and Austin, but they have to get something going fast, Raw is becoming way too predictable lately, i mean EVERYBODY knew what would happen in HBK/RVD and even JR couldn't fake his "surprise" attitude.
