Guest Anglesault Report post Posted December 5, 2002 I'm almost done with The Godfather and I assume that the movied GF2 and GF3 were based on books as well. Am I correct in assuming they are the The Sicilian and Omerta?
Guest gthureson Report post Posted December 5, 2002 You would be incorrect. Godfather Part II uses the early story of Vito and the rest was written by Coppola and Puzo for the movie. Part III has no basis in a novel, and is strictly a screenplay. While mafia related, the other two books you are talking about have nothing to do with the Godfather movies, though 'The Sicillian' was made into a rather average movie starring Christopher Lambert. Guest gthureson Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Well, it wasn't actively bad like some of the stuff he has been in.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted December 8, 2002 Thank You. I just went to Amazon, looked at all his books, and scanned for the name "Corleone" I didn't even read the actual synopsis.
