well i'd doubt anyone is going to beat themselves up over getting this whole list, but

Straight American Slave by RFTC is what's in my head this very second. Get it, you. It's short, so it won't take long.

I can't recommend Shadows Fall - "The Art Of Balance" enough, people. It runs about 4:46, and for those of you that loved old-school Metallica "slow, then heavy, then slow, then fast and heavy" tunes, and for those that like Pantera's "Cemetery Gates," DOWNLOAD THAT FUCKING SONG!!!

No way, i also dig King Crimson...

I've taken the time to download quite a lot of these, and the majority have impressed me greatly!

Really, i just saw the purpose of this thread to get the GOOD music out to the people, and to share around some quality tunes by bands people may not have heard yet.

I recently downloaded Love Boat Captain, by Pearl Jam...comes highly recommended.

Hey Laz that's the title track off the album, right? I was gonna pick it up, but I was actually wondering what kind of vocals they have going? I'm not real into that growly-metal stuff.

I've just sorta realised in the last few months that XTC kick ass.

whatever you do DO NOT d/l Any of the New GNR album.

I made the mistake of d/l it & it was just a waste of my time.

Out of the 9 tracks I got I could NOT stand any of them but one.

I don't know, but I got my hands on an MP3 from the album, and we've also got the album version at the campus radio station in the computer. 100x better then the QOTD version.

I tried listening to some of the new Guns N Roses, and when I put the CD into my computer, it told me "Insufficiant data to display data"

Then a bunch of rioters showed up at my door. What the fuck?
