Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted December 5, 2002 It appears that the Godfather has been released by WWE. No other details are currently available. Credit: WrestlingObserver.com
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Too bad for the pimp daddy. I will always maintain positive memories of his pimpin' hoes. Do any of you remember when the WWF was in Louisville, Kentucky and one of the Godfather's ho's pull her dress up and shook her ass in a thong to entice the Man's Man (William Regal)? That was so funny.
Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Is Ron Simmons next? *crosses fingers*
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted December 5, 2002 YES! YES! PRAISE JESUS YES! *Dances next to the computer* Five guys to go, WWF, don't fuck up!
Guest Quik Report post Posted December 5, 2002 YESSSSS!!!!! I would give anything to see him use that gimmick in the Indys still. Could you imagine the trash-bag sluts he would come out with? HA HA!
Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Bet Godfather will still be used occasionally in the West for House show just to excite the crowd. Yeah, I don't see Godfather bringing in his $1000 Ho's but Actual Ho's. Does he retain the rights to the character? Maybe he can use Kama, The Supreme Fighting Machine. Ron Simmons is too respected by the back to be tanked...He is a Road Agent for sure... Slughter-Finlay-Anderson-Bossman-Simmons-Hayes Damn...Get that Stable on TV...PRONTO! Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Is Ron Simmons next? *crosses fingers* Simmons isn't that bad. It's time to retire but he should get a job has road agent, and by numerous accounts that's what is going to happen.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Eh- I never had a problem with the guy. He was good as a curtain jerker and I wouldnt be suprised if he got a front office job
Guest IB2BLACK Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Some of you'll are acting like Godfather was main eventing PPV's. He was no threat to anyone, plus the crowd loved him.
Guest BillyTheStud Report post Posted December 5, 2002 What current WWE wrestler should I put over his slots in WWF No Mercy?
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Now if only Rikishi would go. They could have kept Charles Wright in a minor roll...but after the RTC the worst thing they could have done was make him the Godfather again, a legit Godfather on top of that. They let the character run a little too long to begin with. They should know when to end a gimmick. They finally did the right thing and yank Venis (no pun intended)...time will tell if it was too late or not.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 5, 2002 I would've kept him just as a curtain jerker.
Guest Rob Edwards Report post Posted December 5, 2002 As soon as he went "legit" people stopped caring, you can put the girls with anyone and get the same pop
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted December 5, 2002 Well there wasn't any place left to take the Godfather character. The character ran its course. Too bad they couldn't find anything for Charles Wright to do. I've met him before. He's a very nice guy.

Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 6, 2002 Slughter-Finlay-Anderson-Bossman-Simmons-Hayes Damn...Get that Stable on TV...PRONTO! You are forgetting about Mr. Ace! I don't see what you people care for either. I would have kept him for the cheap pop durring dark matches and house shows, he meant nothing anyhow. Now Rikishi and Mark Henry... ...THERE are two guys who would be worth getting excited about being released. I wish they had made Godfather Papa Shango just one more time, I would have marked for that!
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 6, 2002 Well i care because the less garbage the better. I'm all for decreasing my odds of seeing garbage on my TV.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 6, 2002 Well i care because the less garbage the better. I'm all for decreasing my odds of seeing garbage on my TV. I understand that, but he's hardly ever used, and when he IS used it's stricly for gimicky cheap pop purposes only that never mean anything.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2002 He was taking up a spot on the roster that a more talented wrestler could fill. The WWE can't afford to keep around guys who are "fun for little pops"
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted December 6, 2002 How ironic is it that Victoria ended up outlasting Godfather? I guess my donations to the Save the Hoes Foundation meant something after all.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted December 6, 2002 Oh Shit! Does this mean the Undertaker is going to get another title run to keep him happy?
Guest Goodear Report post Posted December 6, 2002 "Ho Train leaving on track nine... ALLLL ABOARD!" And where anyone got the idea that Godfather is taking up a 'roster spot' doesn't realize that this isn't football. WWE can hire whoever they want.

Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 6, 2002 Vince: Let's hire all those cruiserweights! Oh wait- we have to pay Godfather. I don't think that conversation ever happened
