I think it was Danny Doring.......yeah he's not really a young talent, but he was pretty much getting a try out for the WWE which means he needed to look good in his match.......Bill went out of his way to make sure he didn't by not selling a damn thing.

Good LORD, what a main event that was. What all did Angle kick out of?

 

1. Spear

2. Edgecution

3. Missile Dropkick (not much in itself, but that's AFTER the Spear and Edgecution)

4. Angle Slam

 

And Edge:

2. Ankle Lock

3. Ankle Lock

4. Ankle Lock

 

And this whole time, since I saw Anglesault's bitter sentiments, I figured Edge would win, not stopping to actually think about how it would kill him to see Angle as fodder for Big Show, so every time Angle came close I was on the edge of my seat, and when he finally won... WHOO!

 

Then Big Slow came and ruined it, and they piled on Lesbian Innuendo (to end the show?!), so kind of a sour ending, but I'm just glad that Kurt ended up winning. Not for the long-term reasons, but because... well, just because.

Ok, I wasn't on the 'Edge sucks at selling' bandwagon before, but now I am.

EVERYONE kicks out of EVERYONE'S finishers.

Wow, another reason for me not to jump on the Heyman bandwagon.

 

People kicking out of other people's finishers is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to wrestling. I don't mind it as much if there's a ref bump or something causing a delay in making the cover, but when there isn't and it doesn't get the win, I don't like that.

I like it when people kick out of other people's finishers, as long as it's not done every match.

 

When it's saved for big matches (such as this one, a main event for a title shot) I don't mind it.

 

Plus, I mean, it's not like it's a Heyman-only thing. I don't think he booked the Main Event of SummerSlam '01, where Angle kicked out of THREE Stunners.

Edge seriously needs to stop using the spear. It does nothing at all for him. He's not the big of a guy to do it, it looks like shit half the time, and it's only effective off a 20 foot ladder.

 

Please use something more original.

I'd just like to say, Angle's counter to the spear - good old boot to the face - was STELLAR.

 

EVERYONE should do that. Teach the boy to use another finisher.

I could swear a few months ago the TE cast was at one of the shows, and there was 2 Girls there?

 

WTF? Hardly any Wrestlers visit this season, they don't show the trips to the WWE shows, this Show is Crap.
