Guest muswp1 Report post Posted March 6, 2002 I had an idea while watching some RAW's from the last few weeks. Since the long awaited split might be happening the RAW after Wrestlemania, I saw a preview that indicated that Vince would have one faction and Flair would have the other. A really cute way to run it would be to have whoever the top star of Flair's faction is win the WCW title from Jericho and and then Flair could rename his faction World Championship Wrestling. He then could resurrect all the old WCW belts and really have a two "promotion" fight with Vince. They also could have the two factions alternate PPV's with all the odd PPV's being WWF and all the even PPV's be WCW. This would help make the PPV's more interesting be having longer feuds be possible and also help with the oversaturation problem the WWF is currently having. As for PPVs they are going to add 4 more PPVs so they probably won't alternate the PPVs every month. The companies will probably share Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series. Guest Human Fly Report post Posted March 6, 2002 I hope it's not called WCW. Because if it is, we all know that whenever possible Vince will humiliate it. They have to have different names though. Even if it's "WWF A" and "WWF B". I don't think the names will be that lame, but if they're having two ppvs a month then they have to have some difference between them or you'll have morons ordering the wrong one and then cable companies will get inundated with complaints. Guest mastermind Report post Posted March 6, 2002 I don't know it seems as thought the split has to happen right BEFORE Mania. I just can't see how RAW can explain the split when the other half of the roster will be having a live show. It would also make a lot of sense to hype WM. So far the hype has been pretty crappy outside of Hogan/Rock and Taker/Flair. Austin/Hall is alright, but that cinder block crap was a turnoff. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
