LaParkaYourCar Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 What wrestlers do you consider "dead weight" that have no purpose and are taking up space and money? Who should the WWE let go next?
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Even though they cannot afford it, Big Show. NOTHING can possibly suck more than a Big Show match...nothing... ...well maybe Victoria's acting. Illusion
LaParkaYourCar Posted December 6, 2002 Author Report Posted December 6, 2002 I think they need to ask themselves.....is it worth the cost in the long run? Big Show has what, like 7 or so years left on his contract? He's not becoming a road agent, or a TE trainer.
Guest job squad Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 justin uncredible has he had a victorie since x factor the tough enough 2 "winners" raven sorry its true mark henry billy gunn and last and certinly least al "i thought my rogaine was soap" bert
LaParkaYourCar Posted December 6, 2002 Author Report Posted December 6, 2002 Jackie Gayda should definitely be cut. What a flop. I agree about Justin Credible. He's just not going anywhere in the WWE. Cut him and maybe some indy fed will let him go back to his ECW gimmick.

Show: "C'mon Kurt, you can eat more than that, you could stand to put on a few hundred pounds" Can't forget Bill DeMott either, he just SUCKS Illusion - Doesn't suck SOMEONE BRING IN LA PARKA!
LaParkaYourCar Posted December 6, 2002 Author Report Posted December 6, 2002 After Bill DeMott this season. I wouldn't be suprised if they did make Big Show a TE trainer. "You kids are out of shape! You will never learn to wrestle a match as good as I can!"

Great.

Great. They're both boring and worthless if you ask me, and they need pink slips FAST. In fact, i've already heard Raven's contract isn't far from being over and McMahon isnt interested in re-signing him. ...poor Raven Illusion - Happy as long as Eddie Guerrero is on TV
LaParkaYourCar Posted December 6, 2002 Author Report Posted December 6, 2002 Thing is...do you think the fans would even blink twice if Rikishi was gone? He's fun for a cheap pop, but he's not that important to the fans enjoying themselves. But alas, Rikishi is one of those loyal ones that have stuck with the WWF/WWE for so long and they wouldn't ditch him cause he's such a good friend. I really think Vince has been neutered. He has no balls anymore since he's letting his little precious girl run away with his company. So he'd never get rid of him. Rikishi's fun pops aren't helping the ratings, attendance, and buyrates. I doubt Rikishi is the main factor putting asses in the seats.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Raven is one of the only reasons why I still watch the WWE. I don't get Smackdown locally, so to watch it, I have to drive for over an hour to go to a friends house in Bloomington, IN to watch it. Problem is, he has to work a lot and he does make other plans. I watch Sunday Night Heat each and every week simply because of Raven. Raw sucks. I just watch it out of habit nowadays. If Raven leaves, I leave. It's as simple as that. Besides, Raven can't be buried by Triple H on Heat.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 I would love to see Raven go back to his WCW character in TNA. He has been crap since joining the WWF/E. They just don't know what to do with him. He needs to drop the queer outfit too and go back to the way he dressed in WCW with the long brown hair, leather jacket, and blue jean shorts. Plus in TNA he would be given free reign over his promos and that would be awesome.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Albert Billy Gunn Crash Holly* D'lo Brown* Jacqueline Johnny Stamboli (although I honestly don't know anything about the guy, so I could be shooting my mouth off) Justin Credible Maven Mark Henry (How many years are left on the contract?) Raven* Sean Morley* Spike Dudley* Tajiri* * denotes guys who could/should be better used in NWA-TNA
Guest Redhawk Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Mark Henry -- Unless they bring back the Nation (or "TBN", the stable I made on SD!SYM w/Rev. D-Von, Batista, and Henry) and use him as a silent heel enforcer, he has absolutely no worth whatsoever. Bradshaw -- He can't even get a pop in Texas anymore without name-dropping about 25 famous Texans. All females who they don't plan on using simply as eye candy/valets/storyline enhancers -- Sorry, I just cannot get into their sad attempts at a "serious" women's division. Keep Victoria, though. She's fine. Rikishi -- They had a shot with him in mid-2000 and blew it. No point in keeping him anymore. Raven -- Unless they give him the "mindfuck Kane" storyline or have him announce, he's pointless. Justin Credible Albert Crash Holly Johnny Stamboli -- If they were gonna hire HIM, they might as well have hired...oh shit, what was his name...his old partner from WCW. Vinnie something? Jerry Lawler -- You've got The Cat. Now dump Lawler, put Tazz on RAW, and get it over with.
Guest godthedog Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 All females who they don't plan on using simply as eye candy/valets/storyline enhancers -- Sorry, I just cannot get into their sad attempts at a "serious" women's division. Keep Victoria, though. She's fine. i say the opposite. the fed was doing pretty well with the women's division for a while there with jazz, molly & trish as the foundation. as ugly as she is, i won't mind having jazz back on my tv when she returns from rehab. right now they're trying to have it both ways, eye candy and serious wrestling. they need to just cut the eye candy, because they ultimately can't hold their own in the roster & they're not being used as enhancement talent at all (except stacy, who isn't helping test at all anyway). when has an eye candy angle ever contributed anything meaningful at all? ... didn't think so. all they do is get cheap puppies pops, it's not like anybody actually buys a ticket to see dawn marie. get rid of her, stacy, torrie, terri, and victoria. yes, victoria too. she can't wrestle (as shown in that abomination of an 8-minute match with trish), & she's ugly anyway.
Guest humongous2002 Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Here's my list of dead weight: Albert B to the second power or square ....who cares Mark Henry Rikishi the other 2 fat samoans Morley Venis Jaqueline Big Slow Stromboli Steven Richards Raven Jackie Gayda Crash Hardcore Holly Al Wilson Dlo Regal Test Chicken legs Nash The Cat Miller Bradshaw Justin Jobber Billy Gunn Chuck Lawler JR Maven
Guest bob_barron Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Considering Regal is over, gets heat from the crowd, can work and knows how to cut promos- how is he "dead weight?"
Guest humongous2002 Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Sorry to break this news to you but Regal has Xpac heat, in other words people are tired to see his "never had a good match ever since he joined the WWE" ass.
Guest Human Fly Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 I'd be surprised if Hardcore Holly, Billy Gunn, and Rikishi ever get cut. They always make a big deal about how long they've been with the company.
Guest El Satanico Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Even if you don't like his wrestling, Regal's promos are pure gold and that alone makes him worth keeping.
Guest humongous2002 Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Even if you don't like his wrestling, Regal's promos are pure gold and that alone makes him worth keeping. Do i watch wrestling to see people wrestle or talk??????????
Guest bob_barron Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Sorry to break this news to you but Regal has Xpac heat, in other words people are tired to see his "never had a good match ever since he joined the WWE" ass. I don't think so- Regal got over as a face during the InVasion. X-Pac never did. He's had some good matches since joining the WWF/E but I agree he his matches haven't generally set the world on fire.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Even if you don't like his wrestling, Regal's promos are pure gold and that alone makes him worth keeping. Do i watch wrestling to see people wrestle or talk?????????? I watch wrestling cause it entertains me. Regal's promos greatly provide the entertainment
Guest El Satanico Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Even if you don't like his wrestling, Regal's promos are pure gold and that alone makes him worth keeping. Do i watch wrestling to see people wrestle or talk?????????? Well I'm not sure why you personally watch wrestling, but we are speaking about WWE here not wrestling. You watch WWE to see people talk and wrestle based what was said in the talking. there's a difference
Guest humongous2002 Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Even if you don't like his wrestling, Regal's promos are pure gold and that alone makes him worth keeping. Do i watch wrestling to see people wrestle or talk?????????? I watch wrestling cause it entertains me. Regal's promos greatly provide the entertainment He was such a good babyface for the Alliance angle that the writers had to turn him heel a few months later and if you are entertained by his promos .... hey... more power to you, because he bores me, but i guess you can't make everyone happy.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 I never figured out why they turned him either as all he did was play job boy to Rock and Angle. He was much better beating the living fuck out of XPac and Storm. His promos are pretty awesome- i love when he just givessomeone a toungelashing.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Regal should be on Raw instead of Lawler. They need a good heel announcer.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 Regal's promos are pretty good, but Regal's matches are so... Well... Wrestling-like, they don't get him over. When I see Regal have a match against someone, I can remember "Regal wrestled (name here)", but I can't remember any parts of the match. There's nothing memorable. Thanks to a combination of fan brainwashing and the business being as exposed as it is, guys like Regal probably would do tons better in NWA-TNA than in WWE. Hell, I'd much rather Regal on my screen than Hennig.
Guest razazteca Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 I like the Cheif Moley character but having him only get involved in the midcard and not the Main Event kind of destroys the illusion of his power. the only person I want to be removed from tv is Jerry the King Lawler. There are so many other wrestlers who can be better announcers.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 People who are dead weight are people who can't talk, can't work and aren't over. So Raven (promos), Rikishi (over) and Regal (all 3) are safe. I would say: Mizark Henry B2 Jackie Gayda
