Guest alfdogg Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 Obviously, none of these are going to happen, but... 1) HHH and Jericho are in the ring, and the WWF equivalent to Vince Russo (who would that be, anyway?) comes out and tells Jericho to lie down (basically recycling the BATB 2000 angle). He later strips HHH of the titles and appoints Chris Benoit the challenger, and Bret in fact does referee the match, a submission match, with Benoit making Jericho tap to the crossface to take home the gold. 2) Bret in fact referees the original main event, and screws HHH in the same fashion he was screwed, since he said in his RF interview that he thinks HHH had something to do with that event. 3) Vince says that if Flair loses to UT at Mania, he has to sell his stock. He loses, then the next night announces he has indeed sold his stock...not to Vince McMahon, but instead to someone else that Vince (the character) really hates (Foley, anyone?), saying "You said I had to sell my stock...but you didn't say I had to sell it back to you." 4) Flair makes all of the NWO's matches retirement matches...and they all lose!!! I could go on and on all night, but I'll leave it at that. Any thoughts?
Guest Tony149 Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 I would go with #2. I wouldn't mark out for it, but I would find it funny.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 If Benoit won the title, I would be happy. The events leading up to it would be ridiculous. Bret screwing HHH would be a nice scenario. If the NWO all lost retirement matches,I would be very happy.
Guest phoenixrising Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 I like #3. "Hey Vince...you never said I had to sell my stock to you! So I sold it...to another legend...a HARDCORE legend!!" ...or something like that... and then... tires screech, car crashes, crowd goes bonkers Vince usually has great facial expressions, and seeing Foley would trigger one that would be priceless.
Guest alfdogg Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 I goofed...BATB 2000 wasn't an angle. My bad.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 The only way I'm marking out is if Goldberg debuts.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 Or Booker T walked out Undisputed Champion, and Stephanie gets lost in another Province, never to be heard from again.
Guest RevEvil Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 I like #3. "Hey Vince...you never said I had to sell my stock to you! If Foley keeps the attitude that he had when he left, than the situation could be good. Just no more "cheap pops".
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 Or Booker T walked out Undisputed Champion, and Stephanie gets lost in another Province, never to be heard from again. I speak for all canadians when i say she's your problem not ours. I'd mark out if Bret Hart showed up same as if HBK showed up, hell i'd mark out if Jeff Jarrett or Raven showed up.
Guest Army Eye Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 Only one that would make me really mark out would be #3. #1 and #2 are interesting but Russo in WCW really soured me on the worked shoots
Guest BaronVonStevie Posted March 7, 2002 Report Posted March 7, 2002 I'd mark if the Hardys turned on Lita and got managed by Heyman.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 7, 2002 Report Posted March 7, 2002 Obviously, none of these are going to happen, but... 1) HHH and Jericho are in the ring, and the WWF equivalent to Vince Russo (who would that be, anyway?) comes out and tells Jericho to lie down (basically recycling the BATB 2000 angle). I could go on and on all night, but I'll leave it at that. Any thoughts? I hope to never see Bret Hart's whining ass again. Foley is useless at this point. Benoit doesn't have the mic skills or charisma to be champion
Guest Brian Posted March 7, 2002 Report Posted March 7, 2002 #4 would be nice, but they've invested too much for that to happen. Unless they have an "out" clause in the contracts, something I preached when they started negotiating.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted March 7, 2002 Report Posted March 7, 2002 id mark for #1 and #4 maybe if they can also implement the shockmaster somehow
Guest Some Guy Posted March 7, 2002 Report Posted March 7, 2002 I don't want anymore Montreal Finishes, Russo worked shoots, or Flair to "sell his stock". The 1st senario I like but bait and switch tatics on the biggest PPV of the year is a bad thing, even if it leads to Benoit becoming Champ. I would mark out if HHH won the belt and Benoit came back on Raw and beat HHH for the belt.
Guest BaronVonStevie Posted March 7, 2002 Report Posted March 7, 2002 I like Benoit and I've seen a lot of his puro stuff, but if they ever made him champ it'd be a fluke.
