Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 You're taking LESNAR'S side in this? It's INCREDIBALLY obvious that this push has turned Lesnar into a total dick. He had to have the title taken off of him because of it, and now he's picking fights with someone because of how he enters the ring? Does anyone GIVE a fuck how the wresters enter the ring? Lesnar needs to be brought down to earth, like, NOW. Lesnar makes a good point- if Jones was doing the exact same thing Lesnar was doing he should be told stop and do something new You're kidding me. It's how the man enters the fucking ring. WHO THE HELL CARES? Should Kane throw a shitfit over Brock's red lighting entrence effects?
Guest godthedog Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 jones doesn't strike me as particularly creative if he's so desperately holding on to this one trademark gesture. and as soon as the quad tore, i became convinced that nash would never step in the ring again. he's a fat lazy fuck who's constantly in pain from having jello knees anyway, he does NOT have the tolerance or the drive to be an active wrestler again.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 If Brock came into the ring and lit the posts on fire with his hands then he shouldn't do it. If Nathan is doing the hop back and forth thing he should stop
Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 If Nathan is doing the hop back and forth thing he should stop It's not the hop back in forth, is it? I thought it was the little jump onto the ring apron that no one really notices.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 I still don't think Nathan should be doing it since it's Brock thing. Come up with another idea Nathan
Guest godthedog Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Come up with another idea Nathan he can't. that's why he's so upset. i'm as judgmental as the next smart mark, but this is the first guy ever that i already can't stand before i've even seen him on television.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 I still don't think Nathan should be doing it since it's Brock thing. Come up with another idea Nathan How about shoot him up into space with a few robots and force him to watch the worst movies ever made on a weekly basis?
Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 I still don't think Nathan should be doing it since it's Brock thing. Come up with another idea Nathan Actually, I believe it's X-Pac's "thing" And besides that, can name three people off the top of my head who step OVER the top rope. Should they get into an allout brawl over the rights to that? Brock let that belt go to his head, and now he is picking fights.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Oh, by the way, we will never see the famed Shooting Brock Press. That's Billy Kidman's "Thing" And the boring bearhug? Why, that's Kevin Nash's "Thing" And that double Powerbomb that he hasn't really used in a while? Jericho's "Thing" The spinning Powerbomb? Diamond Dallas Page. Shoulder thrusts in the corner? Trips. Spinebuster? Rocky. Suplex? Angle. So I guess Brock should walk to the ring and hit the F5 so as to avoid doing anyone elses "Things"
Guest HartFan86 Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 It's management's decision for Nathan to stop doing the hop thing....not Brock's. End of story.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 will ruin his in ring ability, and make him a slow prodding hoss. As opposed to his fast paced, highflying ***** affairs he has now. I was thinking of the matches Lesnar will have when he gets experience and can work with talented people like Kurt Angle.
Guest Marvel Man X Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 So I guess Brock should walk to the ring and hit the F5 so as to avoid doing anyone elses Well, Sean O'Haire was doing the F5 before he was sent to OVW.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 If Nathan is doing the hop back and forth thing he should stop It's not the hop back in forth, is it? I thought it was the little jump onto the ring apron that no one really notices. Brock shouldn't do that either then. Earthquake had that bitch first.

I find it hard to believe that Earthquake ever jumped from the floor to the apron in one jump.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 No, Quake originated the Brock Happy Dance though.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Is there some kind of "Stupid thread" tag we can put on the first post?
Guest Mattdotcom Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Well, maybe Earthquake didn't wanna make any enemies with his impressive athletic feat. Yeah, singular.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 I don't think it's important to squabble about at all, but here's the thing. LESNAR is the one who confronted Jones about it, not vice versa. Jones has been using it, not just starting. Hence, BROCK is being the whiny bitch. AS is right--the stepping over the ropes dealy is used by many--what's the big deal if Jones uses it? X-Pac did it first in the WWE anyway, to my knowledge. If WWE officials wanted Jones to stop it, then he should. Brock being a prima donna and bitching over this little bitty thing makes me thing he's turned into a real dick in a short time. As much as it hurts, I have to agree with AS.
Guest Human Fly Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Nathan Jones will probably suck, I haven't read one review of his matches that has been good. But, who cares if he jumps up to the apron? As has been pointed out it's not like Brock's the first one to do this. It seems rather petty to me. If Nash can get back in the ring he will get a push. I'm glad that he can't be back in time for the Rumble, because you know he would steamroll through it and win it. (if they even have it).
Guest buffybeast Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Brock should have just told management to tell Jones to stop. I think that would have been a better way to handle this situation.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Brock should have just told management to tell Jones to stop. Hmm, I guess but I'm not so sure. I personally would have tried to avoid a direct confrontation and just addressed my concerns directly to management.

You got a problem with someone you take it to them. Plus we're all assuming he was rude about it. We weren't there for the conversation.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 This is nothing more than Brock getting a big head and deciding to pick on someone lesser than him. Lesnar is a glorified bully.
Guest geniusMoment Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 How come no one ever leaves the ring the way bret used to. I used to love how he would sit down on the middle rope and let the leverage carry him to the floor. If you are going to steal something, steal something from the best ever, not some craptastic hoss.
LaParkaYourCar Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 This is nothing more than Brock getting a big head and deciding to pick on someone lesser than him. Lesnar is a glorified bully. Again I say we don't know how the conversation went down so we can't really say he was being a bully about it...it's a rumor and those always have a hint of exaggeration.

Lesnar needs to be brought down to earth, like, NOW. Oh, I must have missed that torch with the headline "Lesnar now a total dick." Seriously, where do you get this stuff? Last I checked, the title was taken off Lesnar because he was injurred, and because Vince wanted him to turn babyface with the Heyman heel-turn. It's irrelevant, but if you're going to through out things that supposedly have to do with your arguement, you might as well be correct in what you say. It's a trade mark part of his entrance that only he does. Bangs spits water, Rock stands outside the ropes, it's all part of the act each guy does on the way to the ring and regardless of which one has been doing it first, anyone who mimics a top guy is going to look unoriginal, whether or not that's actually true. It's possible that Lesnar went overboard, and it's also possible that he was within his rights, but regardless, Jones complaining about something so fixable just creates another unneccesary problem for him in a company that's already full of them.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 it's a rumor and those always have a hint of exaggeration But this seems to fit in nicely with "Brock is an asshole so they had to take the belt off of him" Doesn't it? Again I say we don't know how the conversation went down "Heat between..." seems to say "badly" so we can't really say he was being a bully about it... "That's my little mannerism and you can't use it because I'm more imporant than you" is an adult Bully. It's a trade mark part of his entrance that only he does It's the way he gets on to the ring that no one notices.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 No, Quake originated the Brock Happy Dance though. That's what I just fucking said. Are you all illiterate? Maybe you just have low reading comprehention? Seriously, common sense should tell you that I wasn't talking about the warthog that is Earthquake jumping from the ground to the ring apron. Of course I was talking about the "happy dance" Fucking mongaloids.
