No offense meant, and I totally appreciate the reporting of news around here, but some probably spoilers are being mentioned. Take, for example, a possible return of Austin. He hasn't come back yet, but we're getting threads with subjects that say "More on Austin's return" and whatnot. I want it to be a surprise, and I don't want some ass posting "AUSTIN AT RAW TONIGHT, spoilers!!!!!!"

 

What do you think?

I fail to see your point since no one has spoiled anything about Austin coming back.

 

If he's gonna be on RAW and someone finds out then yea- they should put something like-

While it's a spoiler, really, I'd rather be safer than sorry for it to be something like "Update on Austin". It's not too much to ask, I figure.

I don't think anyone can safely watch WWE programming anymore. I know very well that anything that can be used as a weapon has to be taken away from me every Monday night.

It could very well be the same one on my wishlist that I put in the latest Tough Enough recap. No one around here has yet to carry any Kylie merchandise beyond her most recent album. You think they'd have the Live in Manchester DVD, but NOOOOOOOOO!!!

I have agree with Ram. I mean, I don't mind seeing some backstage news and whatknot, because most of concerns state of the locker room issues and whatknot. But I think if it's concerning something, especially something pretty much confirmed, for the future, people should be advised that it would be a REALLY good idea to just put something about future spoilers about (subject here) in the title and leave it at that.

 

Like the example Ram has used, I'm all for hearing about Austin getting things straight in his life and whatknot. But if it's confirmed he's showing up on a show, I don't want to learn here first because it was blurted out in the title of someone's thread. I want to mark the F out without any foreknowledge of it.

 

I know there are already guidelines for spoilers but maybe clarifying it a little could help.

To me, a spoiler is something that has already happened, like a pre-taped SmackDown. I can understand why people don't want to know the results of that, but don't know why people wouldn't want to know the latest on what Austin's doing, and whether or not he's coming back.

I don't consider this a spoiler. It could just as easily say that Austin is not returning. Most of this stuff is rumours, rather than spoilers. If it is confirmed that for example, Austin is expected on RAW this week, then I will edit the title, but I haven't seen any problems in quite some time now.
