What was the greatest match of WM history?

Savage - Steamboat will probably always be the greatest to me. I was 10 at the time and that was the first time I really got into the wrestling side of it, that in turn got me more into NWA/WCW. In addition to the actual work it had a great story behind it, and stil holds up as a great match.

I voted for Warrior/Hogan from WWF WrestleMania VI,but I thought that all of those matches were great!!!I also think that Bret Hart Vs. Rowdy Piper for the IC Title from WWF WrestleMania VIII was a great match!!!

I had a theory that this kind of relates to to explain what type of long time fan you are. I passed it on to some people at work and they agreed. If you watched since before or during WM3 you can sum up what type of fan you are by which match at WM3 is your favorite between Savage and Steamboat and the Hogan-Andre match. I mean, you can like both but choosing one over the other really states whether you are a workrate fan or a fan of the show/spectacle side of wrestling.

There are really too many to choose just one.  Savage vs. Steamboat was a terrific match that told a terrific story.  Savage vs. Warrior was another great match with a terrific story and it is probably my all time favorite due to the booking at the end of the match.

I picked the heavily hyped matches that i also liked. I know andre/Hogan aint their., but mainly it was all just storyline and the match was blah. Warrior/hogan i put up becuase it was the first time a mega face vs. mega face main evented a PPV.

I picked Austin Vs Bret but could have easily gone for Bret V Owen, Bret V Shawn, Austin V Rock or Razor Vs Shawn

 

I'm sure it was great at the time but I'm not sure how well Savage and Steamboat holds up today, I saw it for the first time a few months ago and it was good but didn't live up to the hype of everyone commenting on how great it was..IMO

Michaels v. Ramon - it changed the way I thought about both competitors, it changed the way that I thought about the intercontinental title, and it brought forth the Ladder Match.
