Malcom in the Middle DVD

Hey all. I'm thinking about getting the "Malcom in the Middle: The Complete First Season" DVD Set and am wondering a couple things. My first question is do you have to have the commentary on while watching the episodes or can you watch the episode without the commentary first and then go back and watch it with the commentary? I perfer the second way much more. My second question is how is the DVD set and also how much did you pay for it? Thanks to everyone who can help.

Ahoy! Most DVD releases have the option to turn the commentary off. I don't know of many that come with the Commentary on and no way to disable it, although Im sure there probably is one for some reason..

 

I dont have it and probably won't get it, but I've heard some decent reviews and I've seen it for less than $30. I used to like the show, but since it moved to 9pm, I watch L&O and I also think the show was rather stupid last year compared to the previous season.

Thanks alot for the information. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it, but just wanted to ask in case I decide to. I really don't remember too much about the first season, that's why I'm not totally sure. I think I have mixed emotions on last year's season, but the current season has been very hilarious to me so far and would definitely buy the current one when it releases on DVD.
