Wrath losing matches

Recommended Posts

Guest X briar rose X

I was too ashamed of my last losing match to post it in the loser thread, but I thought this one was going to blow everyone out of the water. Guess I was wrong. Let me know what you think, please.

"Holy cow! What a show we've had!" shouts Axis. "Our two newest SJL superstars went head to head... a literal clash of the titans!"

The Suicide King interrupts Axis before he continues, "I really like that C4 guy. Despite some not so fond memories, he really shines."

"Great, King," Axis replies. He then reclaims his uber-excited tone to continue his rundown of the show as of yet. "And just moments ago, we came off a WildWeapons match! I was utterly amazed at how brutal some of our young talent can be... "

"We're gonna see a lot more of brutal in just a moment, Axis," King comments. He continues, "We're about to go live to Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey! There, Janus, our number one contender to the Ejiropean Championship, will face Dace Night, who came off a devastating loss to our World Champion, Johnny Dangerous... "

Axis interrupts King's long winded segment, "Still going?"

"Like the Energizer bunny, baby. Now shut up while I continue," King retorts. "They'll be joined by Arianwyn Rivenstone, who also received defeat last Metal, and Jack the Ripper... who just returned to the SJL. Again."

Axis gives King a smug grin. "Not much to say about Jack the Ripper, huh, King?" he asks. The Suicide King just shakes his head as the camera shifts angles. It focuses on the Smarktron, where a broad scene of Fisherman's Wharf is shown. A small awning is set up on the southeast side of the dock, the entranceway. Despite the sun shining, lights begin flashing around the wharf, illuminating the area in reds, blues, and purples. A roped off crowd cheers as "Darkness Falls" begins to play over the speakers (set up on either side of the awning). A small group of Californians lines each side of the awning, creating a ramp way. Easily seen above the crowd, Janus makes his way through the aisle and into the courtyard-like area sanctioned as the 'Start Zone,' just outside Johnny's Famous Fish booth. Some of the fans begin to chant Janus's name, and he raises his arms for them.

From inside the Cow Palace in San Francisco, Funyon announces the match. "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and will be a street fight rules match! Taking place at Fisherman's Wharf... introducing first, weighing in at three hundred and fifty pounds... he is from Sydney, Australia... Janus!"

Both the crowds in the arena and at the wharf cheer again as Janus turns a circle, his arms raised. He then moves about ten feet back, shaking his arms in warm up as his theme fades out. The lights flashing from the awning change from white to red and purple. Venom's "You're All Gonna Die" starts to play, arousing a mild cheer from the crowd in attendance at Fisherman's Wharf. The sound from the Cow Palace feeds in...

"And his first opponent, from Birmingham in the United Kingdom... weighing in at two hundred and fifty four pounds... Dace Night!"

Available only to the viewers in the home audience, Axis and Suicide King continue to commentate the event. King pipes up first, "What's up with these matches lately? We've had a Remember the Alamo match... a Lost at Sea match... and now a Fisherman's Wharf match. It's kind of like the Miami Mayhem... overdone!"

"But, King, these matches are so much fun to watch! What happened to that brutal, vicious side of you?!"

The King answers, "Oh, it's still there. I just don't want to see Arianwyn get hurt!"

"This is the first of those types of matches that she's been in! And by the way she was skulking around backstage, I think she's looking forward to it!" Axis shouts in rebuttal.

The shot returns to the wharf, where the fans cheer for both Dace Night and Janus as they wait in the courtyard area. The lights on the awning begin to flash a dark red as "You're All Gonna Die" is replaced with Lacuna Coil's "Aeon." The crowd begins to boo considerably and Arianwyn Rivenstone jogs through the aisle.

Funyon announces, "Their opponent, from Swords, Ireland... weighing in at one hundred and sixty one pounds, she represents the Disciples of Discord... Arianwyn Rivenstone!"

"No Nocturna?" Axis asks. He shrugs and looks at King.

The King just grins. "I have my sources that tell me we'll see Nocturna tonight... "

A couple fans in Monterey reach over the barrier, showing their thumbs down as they boo Arianwyn. She simply ignores them, bouncing in front of Janus and Dace in a Brock Lesnar fashion (without the head rolling). Janus looks over at Dace, then steps closer, leaning in a bit to discuss politics with the England native. "Aeon" fades from the speakers, to be replaced once again... this time by Marilyn Manson's "Fight Song." The crowd boos even more as Jack the Ripper makes his way through the entrance. He plucks his hat off and pulls his trench from over his shoulders. Jack tosses his items aside and coldly eyes his three opponents.

"And their final opponent, weighing in at two hundred pounds... from London, England... Jack the Ripper!" Funyon announces from the Cow Palace.

The booing from Fisherman's Wharf nearly drowns out Manson's "Fight Song." A referee steps in the middle of all four competitors. He gives them a briefing of the rules... which makes it a short speech. He waves them on and steps back, signaling for the bell.

* DING DING DING *

"And we're underway!" Axis shouts. "Will we see another team of good guys vs. the bad?"

King answers him... as if there was anyone else to make a comment, "Unfortunately, we probably will. The power of evil needs multiple combatants... "

"There you go, spewing your good vs. evil bullshit again. It's a wrestling match, not some epic fight for the rule of the cosmos," Axis explains.

"That's what you think," King answers cryptically.

Janus nods and steps away from Dace. He takes a few steps toward Jack, and Janus makes his way toward Arianwyn. Jack springs into action, flying at Dace with a clothesline. Night is knocked back, but remains on his feet. Jack leaps again, dropping a kick to Night's chest. Dace stumbles back, onto a bench outside the Wharf's General Store. As Janus nears Arianwyn, she darts away, passing a few stores before veering into Carousel Candies. Janus pauses before entering the shop. He peers inside and watches as Arianwyn flies around a corner. Janus glances outside before moving further into Carousel’s. He surveys the surroundings slowly, noting all the jars of candy, the strings of saltwater taffy, and bars of fudge and brittle. Janus passes the front end of the store and into the back room, following Arianwyn. Suddenly, a thick, brown liquid flies at him, splashing onto his face and chest.

"AAAAAAAAAAGH!!" Janus screams in surprise and pain.

"Arianwyn just dumped a pot of hot milk chocolate all over Janus! Oh, the agony!" Axis yelps. The Suicide King just sits next to him, laughing his ass off. "This isn’t funny!" Axis proclaims.

The King finally stops laughing and comments after looking at his monitor, "Jack and Dace Night are going at it in the General Store… there’s a lot in there to destroy."

The two competitors exchange blows, but soon enough Dace Night takes control of the brawl. He grabs the Ripper by the arm and whips him across the store. Jack hops up, onto the counter before he would have crashed headlong into it. He springboards off, twisting in midair to catch Night with a spinning wheel kick! Dace is finally knocked off his feet, crashing back into a postcard rack. The leaflets scatter about the area, some floating onto Night. He bats the postcards away and sits up. As Dace turns around and stands, Jack flies into view again, this time grabbing Night by the hair and bringing him down in a huge bulldog/faceslam! Jack pops to his feet and glances around. A bookshelf stands over him to his right, piled with wooden ships. The Ripper moves over quickly and rocks the bookcase, finally unbalancing it enough to tip it over, onto Dace! He rolls out of the way!

"Dace Night rolled out of the way! He escaped the shower of ships!" Axis cheers.

"Yay," King says blandly. His tone changes as he exclaims, "Night's not gonna get away from this one!"

Jack runs over to the nearest counter and hops onto it. He turns around, then crouches. As Dace stirs and begins to sit up, Jack springs into action, leaping forward and turning a somersault.

"Big swanton bomb by Jack the Ripper!" calls King. "He goes for the first pin of the evening... "

One of three referees officiating the match drops to his knees to make the count.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

"Dace kicks out!" shouts Axis!

"That was three!" King complains. He grumbles audibly and then changes the subject, "Let's have a look at Arianwyn and Janus in the candy shop... "

Janus, wet from some sort of bath to rid himself of the chocolate, delivers a quick kick to Arian's gut, doubling her over and causing her to drop the box of peanut brittle she had intended on using as a weapon. Janus pulls her in, then up into a powerbomb position. Turning to his right, Janus sits out, dropping Arianwyn right through a glass display case, scattering gummie bears, sour drops and caramel corn all over the place! Janus shifts his position, lifting up Arianwyn's leg for the pinfall. The second referee slides to the floor and makes the count.

ONE!

TWO!

Nocturna rushes into the shop, slamming the wooden sign from outside the shop over Janus's head!

"That vile witch!"

King cheers with glee. "Nocturna to the rescue!" he shouts. "Janus with a near fall, there, almost immediately following Jack the Ripper's close call. We have three referees out there... one following each pair of competitors, and a third that runs between the two... to see who gets the pinfall first, in case two are made at simultaneous moments."

"These two pinfalls have been the closest we've come to testing that system, King," says Axis. "While we're in this lull in action, we of the SJL would like to thank all the patrons on Fisherman's Wharf for allowing us to use their shops as a battlefield."

"What the hell do we have to thank them for?" asks King. "We're paying them a lot of money, probably because they know that we're going to destroy their shops and their merchandise."

Axis replies, "It's a courtesy, King. Something that's obviously alien to you."

Arianwyn rolls out of the rubble that was once a display case while Nocturna continues to wail on Janus with the wooden sign. He holds his arm up in defense, successfully. Nocturna lands a kick to Janus's gut, causing him jerk with the jolt of pain. He moves to his knees, only to be kicked again by the Disciple of Discord. Nocturna leans down and grabs Janus by the hair, calling Arianwyn over. The two disciples pull Janus to his feet, then wrap each of his arms over their necks. On three, they heft him up and over in a quick snap suplex.

"What a feat of strength!" cries King.

Axis replies sarcastically, "You do realize that it took both the Disciples to lift up the monstrous Janus... "

"Yeees," says King. "It's still incredible... I bet Janus will never live down being manhandled by two broads back in the land down under."

The scene cuts away from the Carousel Candy shop and back to the General Store, where Dace Night has the advantage over Jack the Ripper. The fight has found its way to the back deck of the store. Jack rests on a bench overlooking the bay, a stray seagull perched on the arm of the iron wrought, oversized chair. The gull caws and flies away as Dace approaches Jack. The Ripper throws a weak kick Night's way in an attempt to stop the approach, but Dace sidesteps and moves in with a stiff knee to Jack's gut. Night reaches down and grabs Jack up, pulling him into a suplex position. Dace snags one of Jack's legs and hefts the Londoner up, before dropping him back down onto the wooden planked deck.

"How fitting!" proclaims Axis. "A Fishermans suplex right there at Fisherman's Wharf!!"

"Sounds more like corny to me, Axis," replies King.

Axis ignores the remark. "Dace bridges the suplex for the pinfall attempt... "

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

"Jack kicks out!" cries King! "Even though Dace nearly slammed the Ripper right through that wooden deck... Jack gets a shoulder up! Night is furious!"

"You've got to be kidding me," Axis says. "Finishing a match with a Fishermans suplex is like finishing a match with a scoop slam. It's just unheard of!"

King smirks at his partner, "Well, they do say the memory goes first... "

The scene cuts again, this time back to the main pier. Arianwyn, Nocturna, and Janus have made their way out of Carousel Candies. Nocturna rests against a lavender Mini-Cooper, with Carousel Candies painted across the sides and a carousel horse on the hood. Nocturna's forehead is bleeding slightly from some blow the cameras didn't catch. Janus overpowers Arianwyn, pulling her onto his shoulder in a fireman's carry. The lumbering hulk walks down the wharf, eyeing each of the stores as he passes them. One catches his interest and he steps inside. The sign over the entrance reads First Neptune Treasures. Janus smirks as he drops Arianwyn down into his arms, then drops again to a knee, draping Arianwyn over his thigh. Arian cries out in pain. She slumps to the floor of the shop, holding her back as she scrambles to her knees. Janus stands and kicks the disciple in the gut, rolling her over and onto her back. Janus drops down, landing a heavy leg over Arianwyn's chest. She jerks with the blow and curls, holding her chest. Janus gets to his feet and roams further into the store, searching for an implement of destruction.

"And the action wanes on the Janus versus Arianwyn front... " claims Axis. He continues, "Let's have a look into Wharf's General Store, where Dace Night and Jack the Ripper are still putting on an unbelievable show... "

"What? Are you prejudice against women being able to put on good shows?" King asks his partner. "I'm going to guess that you've never been to a strip club." Axis fumbles for an answer. King nods and tells him, "I thought not. While women at strip clubs put on the most erotic shows one can see, the women of wrestling can put on just as entertaining a show, thank you very much."

"Yeah, whatever," Axis grumbles.

Jack the Ripper throws a huge punch at Dace, but he ducks under and hooks Jack into him in a Rock Bottom position. Night lifts Jack and switches positions midfall, dropping the Ripper over his knee. Jack stiffens with the pain to his back, but then cries out as Dace prolongs the agony by pushing down on Jack's chest and legs. The referee leans in close, reminding Dace that there are no submissions in this match. Night rolls his eyes and nods at the ref, giving him a 'duh' look. Dace reaches down, grabbing up Jack. He stands, hefting Jack up into a Torture Rack. The Ripper struggles and finally worms loose. Jack twists around Dace Night, snagging an arm around Dace's head and bringing him down in a Tornado DDT, right through the seashell display! Jack scrambles to make a pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Shells clink as Dace twists and throws his shoulder up. Jack slams his fist into an unbroken section of wood (thus breaking it), and grabs Night by the head, cradling it in his lap as he throws a flurry of punches. The Ripper shoves Dave back to the seashell-ridden floor and stands, turning circles as he looks for a suitable weapon. His eyes brighten and his smile widens like a little boy seeing all the presents under a Christmas tree. Jack jogs over to a display of walking sticks and plucks one from its spot. For good measure, he grabs another and charges back to Dace Night. The bigger of the two makes his way to his feet, but drops to his knee again as Jack smacks a hard shot across Dace's back. The Ripper raises the stick again, slamming it across Night's back. He cries out in pain and falls back to the floor. Jack drops another shot, and another, and again, and again!

"Jack's really tearing into Dace Night, King!"

"Your penchance for the obvious really astounds me, Axis."

Once again, the camera shot changes from the General Store, this time to just outside Neptune Treasures. Janus whips Arianwyn down the pier, where she slows her own momentum by grabbing onto a sign post. She pushes off the post and charges at Janus, only to be caught with a big boot! Arian immediately curls up, holding the back of her head. Janus glances around and continues down the wharf, leaving Arianwyn behind. Back inside the General Store, Jack leans against the front counter. Night charges Jack, clotheslining him over the counter. As Jack crashes to the floor behind the counter, his feet catch the glass shelves on the back wall, shattering them right on top of him. Dace just smiles and walks around the counter, picking Ripper up by the hair. Night grabs Jack with both hands, tossing the lighter wrestler across the shop and right into another glass case! JtR rests limply in the wreckage and Night shrugs at him. He then moves over to a cooler and pulls open the door. Searching through the selection, Dace shakes his head and finally picks out a PepsiMAX. The camera zooms in on the PepsiMAX logo as Night takes a long drink.

"Hah!" Axis laughs. "Dace Night's taking a break during the match! It looks like Janus is strolling into the area to see what's going on, and Arianwyn has yet to get up from that devastating big boot from the big Australian!"

"Night is not being too smart," says King. "He should be taking advantage of Jack's laziness and making the pinfall. But Dace always struck me as an egotistical guy."

"Takes one to know one."

Night tips the bottle of PepsiMAX back, draining the last bit of liquid from it. He reaches into the tip jar on the counter and pulls out approximately a dollar in mixed change. Dace drops the change on the counter and then moves over to Jack the Ripper. With ease, Dace grabs up Jack and drags him out of the glass and wood shards. Night pulls Jack into a headlock, then begins to lead him out of the General Store. Outside, Janus makes it to the General Store, then glances over as Dace Night shoves Jack out of the store. Jack catches himself on a postal box before he falls over. Dace grabs the dazed Jack and whips him across the walkway. JtR, unable to resist the force, charges unwittingly... right into the Mini-Cooper parked outside Carousel Candies! The driver side window cracks, but does not break through. Janus approaches the car, throwing a punch at Jack. Night shouts at Janus and signals him with a raised hand. The crowds lining the wharf cry out with glee as Janus smiles and obliges. A smack echoes through the line of shops, and Janus easily lifts a limp Jack the Ripper up, before slamming him down to the concrete.

"OH MY GOD!" Axis shouts! "Janus just chokeslammed Jack the Ripper onto that concrete!! Jack's dead!"

"That's gotta hurt... Look now as Dace and Janus take either end of that Cooper... they're gonna try to lift it!!" King exclaims! "Oh, where's Arianwyn when you need her!?"

"Ugh, you need her?"

Together, the two behemoths lift the Mini-Cooper off the ground. With a bit of strain and a lot of coordination, they heave the car up to chest level, then with another effort, the men bench the Cooper above their heads! The crowd in the area raises a loud ruckus as Janus and Dace Night begin pressing the Mini-Cooper!

"How impressive is that?! Together, Dace Night and Janus dead-lifted a Mini-Cooper! The crowd is loving it! But why?!" Axis cries.

King raises his hands to his head, his mouth agape in astonishment! "They just dropped the Cooper onto Jack the Ripper! If he wasn't dead from that chokeslam, he sure is now!!"

"Is that considered a pin?"

The referee doesn't seem to think so. Janus and Dace shake off the muscles strain and step together, shaking hands. Another wave of cheers rolls through the Monterey crowd. A streak races into the scene, and Nocturna drops a kick to both Janus and Dace. Dace slams into the Cooper, smashing the passenger side window in. Janus tumbles over the hood of the Mini-Cooper. As Janus recovers his balance, he moves toward Nocturna. A creak on the hood of the Cooper draws his attention away, and Arianwyn flies into view. She snags her legs around Janus's neck and brings him down in a quick huricanrana!

"What acrobatics! Arianwyn jumped onto the Cooper, then leaped from the top to grab Janus in a huricanrana!" Axis explains excitedly.

King gives a small victory cry of his own. "Nocturna climbs into the Cooper, and through the window, she's choking Dace Night with that chain of hers! Oh, how I love the Disciples of Discord!"

"Either way, it was definitely smart for Janus and Dace Night to remove Jack the Ripper from the game," Axis comments.

Janus begins to climb to his feet after cracking his head on the concrete. Arian lands a kick to the side of Janus's temple, dropping him back to the ground. Rivenstone turns quick and darts to the Cooper, hopping onto the window sill. She springboards from the vehicle and moonsaults onto the fallen Janus! Rivenstone rolls away, hugging her knee. One of the referees rushes over to Jack, who obviously can’t move. He just nods his head and the referee moves around the car, to check on both Janus and Arianwyn. Arian forces herself to her feet, limping a bit on her left leg. The referee backs away, turning his attention to Dace Night. He waits on all fours, coughing and holding his throat. Nocturna has disappeared. Janus surges to his feet and attacks Arianwyn with a thunderous right, then a left, and another right. Caught unawares, Rivenstone falls back with the final blow. Janus grabs her up and throws her over his shoulder. The big man lumbers away from the Cooper, carrying Arianwyn into Domenico’s Restaurant. A few patrons scatter as Janus slams Arian down across a large table. The piles of shrimp and crab legs fly into the air, then rain down like confetti. Janus reaches down and plucks a shrimp from Rivenstone’s chest, and pops it into his mouth. He nods his head in approval, then grabs Arianwyn by the hair. Janus pulls her out of the wreckage that was once a buffet table, and drags her into the back dining room. With ease, Janus grabs Arianwyn up into a military press, then carries her to the window.

"Arianwyn’s in trouble! Someone help her!!" King shouts. "Where’s Nocturna?!" he asks.

Axis answers him, "Nowhere in sight, apparently… Janus is going to toss her right through that window!! And there’s no deck on the other side! It falls right into the bay!! Arianwyn’s going for a swim!"

* CRASH!! *

* SPLASH! *

Janus raises his arms to the gathered crowd. The people eating in Domenico's begin clapping and cheering. Janus gives them a little bow and waltzes out of the restaurant. There he meets Dace, who has recovered from Nocturna's vicious attack. The two again shake hands, then begin to discuss and point at Jack the Ripper. The Ripper is still pinned beneath the car, but tries in vain to push the Cooper off of him. Without leverage, or the muscle mass, he is unsuccessful. Janus looks back at Dace, and gets a kick to the gut! The crowd lining the Wharf boos at the attack as Night brings down Janus with a DDT. Dace quickly moves around and hooks a leg for the pinfall attempt.

ONE!

TWO!

Janus kicks out at two, to the cheers of the crowd. The shot cuts away for just a moment, as another camera leans out the broken window inside Domenico's. About ten feet below, Arianwyn treads water in the San Francisco Bay. The revving of a motor is heard, and a white speck appears approximately three hundred feet out, and it moves closer. Within seconds, an object forms... it's a Sea Doo! A figure dressed in black guides it toward Arianwyn... the camera zooms in closer, it's Nocturna!

"Hey, look, King! Nocturna's picking up Arianwyn on that Sea Doo!" Axis points out.

"You think I don't see that?" King says in rebuttal. "She'd better hurry up and get Arianwyn back into action, though... Janus and Dace Night are tearing each other up!"

As Arianwyn climbs onto the Sea Doo and Nocturna turns a tight circle with the craft, the camera switches shots, focusing back on Dace Night and Janus as they brawl by the Mini-Cooper. Night comes out on top, pushing Janus back with chops to his chest. Janus stumbles back and back, finally resting against the Cooper. Dace lays a few more chops into Janus's chest, then steps back about five feet. He then gets a running start and throws a Yakuza kick at Janus's head! Janus slides out of the way, and Dace's kick smashes through the already cracked passenger side window! Night howls in pain as his leg hooks up in the Cooper window. Janus takes advantage of the situation by throwing kidney punches while Dace is caught. He then wraps up Janus from behind, locking on a full Nelson. Janus pulls Dace out of his plight, but then lifts him up, and sits out, dropping Night right onto his tailbone!

"Full Nelson drop, right on that concrete!" Axis shouts!

"Dude, chill with the 'right on that concrete'... any move in Fisherman's Wharf is going to take place 'right on that concrete'... " King retorts.

Axis frowns, "That doesn't make it any less exciting, King. Anyway, here's Janus with a cover."

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Dace gets a shoulder up! Janus glances at the referee, who shows him 'two.' Janus nods and sits up, bringing Dace up with him. Janus looks around, then back at the Cooper. A small smile creases his lips. Janus wrenches Night's arm, then guides him around to the back of the Cooper. Janus climbs onto the bumper, walking up the car and to the roof. Those with a watchful eye would notice that Jack the Ripper is no longer trapped under the Mini-Cooper. As Janus gets on the roof, the metal dents inward with all of Janus's weight. He wrenches more on Dace's arm, then leads him up onto the Cooper as well. The roof of the car groans with the weight and barely holds.

"Oh, no," starts Axis. "I think Janus is going for his finisher here... "

"You can't be serious!" King jokes.

* CRASH! *

"Aaaah!! As Janus lifted Dace Night, the roof of that Cooper gave way! Dace crashes to the floor and Janus drops right through the windshield!! They're both dead!" Axis cries.

King pipes up, "This would be a good time for Arianwyn to show up... "

"But," says Axis. "That would be too much to ask for."

Janus sits in the windshield like it was a leather recliner, while Dace Night curls on the concrete, holding one of his knees. Just on the other side of the car, Jack the Ripper sits against the Cooper, holding his ribs and breathing shallowly, wincing with each breath.

"It's too bad there are no count outs," King mentions. "With Arianwyn most likely on her feet, and these three down, she'd have it won real easy, if only she'd show her face... "

The glass crumbles and falls away from the windshield as Janus finally sets into motion. Slowly, he sits up, revealing tens of cuts criss-crossing Janus's broad back. Janus slides down the hood, standing unsteadily a few moments before heading over to Dace Night. The crowd in the area cheers rowdily, rooting Janus on. Janus picks up Dace and whips him across the way, but Night reverses, sending Janus right into a light pole! A pained Janus stumbles forward, right into Dace's arms. Night lifts him up, draping Janus over his shoulders in a Torture Rack. Dace struggles to keep the 350 pound monster in place, then slides Janus down, cradling him before dropping to his behind, piledriving Janus's head into the concrete!!

"PSYCHO DRIVER!! PSYCHO DRIVER!" Axis shouts! "Janus is done!!"

King comments somewhat excitedly, "Dace Night with a desperation move to keep Janus on his back. I think that'll work, Axis."

A tired Dace Night floats over an out cold Janus to make the pin. A referee slides down to make the count.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

NO!! Arianwyn flies into view, landing a dropkick to the side of Night's head. Dace rolls away and then slowly gets his feet. A large fishing net soars into view, enveloping Night. Nocturna, the source of the net, makes her way closer, but lets Arianwyn do her thing. Dace struggles to remove the entrapping grip of the net. Arianwyn runs at Dace, grabbing him up and turning him around in a jump swinging DDT!

"Arianwyn Rivenstone makes the save, and... with a fishing net! She's hooked Dace Night all up, and now she's heading for the poor, destroyed Cooper... " King comments excitedly.

Rivenstone makes a running jump onto the Cooper, turns on the hood and then springboards off with a Shooting Star press! Night's too busy to notice, and gets slammed by Arianwyn!! She cries out as she busts her knee into the concrete again, but rolls over for the cover.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!

The referee signals to the camera for the bell. Within the Cow Palace, a wave of boos overtakes the crowd as the bell sounds.

* DING DING DING *

Funyon announces over the crowd, "And your winner... Arianwyn Rivenstone!!"

Lacuna Coil's "Aeon" begins playing both at Fisherman's Wharf and in the arena in San Francisco. Axis sits at the announce table, his mouth draped open in shock.

King saves the day, "What a victory for the Disciples of Discord! What destruction and violence at the Fisherman's Wharf!! EMTs are rushing to the scene for both Jack the Ripper and Janus, who were both injured in this huge Fisherman's Wharf brawl!!"

"I'm hurting for both of them, King," says Axis. "I've got to admit, that was quite a match. Our Main Event tonight will come close, but I don't think anything tonight can top that."

King nods and proceeds to tell the crowd about the Main Event. "After Insane Luchador and Matt Myers go at it in singles competition, we'll see 'The Secret Agent' Johnny Dangerous take on both Ejiro Fasaki and Fugue of M7!!"

"What a fight that will be," Axis proclaims. "At least it's a tag rules handicap match. Fasaki and Fugue will have to tag in and out. I'm sure this'll be covered more in depth when we actually get there."

The camera shot cuts back to Fisherman's Wharf. Nocturna and Arianwyn have already left the scene. Two referees kneel next to Janus, who is still down for the count, but just beginning to stir. Dace Night has gotten the net off of him and throws it to the ground in anger. A couple EMTs pick up Jack the Ripper, placing him on a stretcher. They wheel him from around the smashed Mini-Cooper and toward the south end of the wharf. The crowd still gathered there begins to clap and cheer as Janus finally sits up, wavering despite the fact.

"That's a great thing, King," Axis says. "Even though Janus and Dace Night lost this match, the Monterey crowd is still appreciative enough to give them a standing ovation. It's beautiful." He sniffs. Before King can retort with a witty comment, a commercial fades in.

Axis: Welcome to SJL Wrath! We’ve got one hell of a show for you tonight and we’re gonna start it off with a bang... literally! We have two newcomers facing off tonight, the explosive C4 taking on the big man “Mountain” Mike Moran.

King: Meh, another newbie stink-fest filling the undercard with that intoxicating aroma of suck. Let’s get this damn thing over with quick, I’ve got a date later on.

Axis: Take it away Funyon!

As Funyon enters the ring several cheers are heard from his morbid cult following. He grins and speaks in his booming announcer voice. “Ladies and gentlemen! Our first match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, he weighs in tonight at two hundred and fifty two pounds... CEEEEE-4RRRRRR(how the hell are you supposed to spell that held out?)!!”

“Bad Habit” by the Offspring gets the crowd buzzing as the air is sliced by a heavy guitar riff. The crowd remains relatively quiet as C4 steps through the curtain and walks down to the ring bouncing slightly, ready for his match to begin. Some mild boos are heard, though they are more than likely just some twisted people booing C4’s choice of entrance music. C4 then jogs to the ring quickly, slightly goading the people to actually get involved in the match. Sliding in the ring, C4 hops to one turnbuckle and tosses his arms in the air, confident that he has his debut match in the bag.

Leaning against one turnbuckle, Funyon holds his note cards up and reads them off “And his opponent... he weighs in tonight at three hundred and nineteen pounds... ‘Mountain’ Mike MOOORAAAN!!”

The sounds of “War Pigs” by the legendary Black Sabbath fires up and the crowd grows even more silent than before. The curtain is violently thrust aside as a large man steps through, a certain gleam in his eye. His large frame is a stark contrast to C4’s chiseled physique, as he walks slowly to the ring, cracking his knuckles. The man grins wide, revealing a mouth resembling that of a Jack-O-Lantern. Mike Moran gets to the ring and steps over the top rope, ready to start the match.

Axis: For new guys, these two seem to have some potential. C4 looks like a champion and Moran looks like he’s ready for action.

King: They both look like llama feces.

DING!! DING!! DING!!

The bell rings, signaling the start of the match. The competitors approach each other slowly, coming chest to chest, staring each other in the eye. Moran is the first to make a move by spitting in C4’s masked face and whipping him into the ropes. C4 is dazed but continues to run and Moran swings hard for a clothesline but C4 sees it coming and ducks underneath Moran’s trunk of an arm. C4 continues his momentum, now steady enough to control where he is heading. He bounces off the ropes and charges “Mountain” from behind, taking him to the mat with a bulldog.

The bulldog is merely a set-up it seems as C4 quickly throws on an armbar, working on the big-man’s shoulder. He works on it until Moran wriggles his arm out of the hold, causing C4 to get quickly to his feet, preparing for Mike Moran’s next move. Slow to move, Moran gets to his feet and moves towards his waiting opponent. “Mountain” throws a quick punch, which is ducked, but Moran gives a quick kick to the gut, getting C4 distracted long enough for Mike Moran to hit a suplex on C4.

Axis: C4 taken to the mat by Moran. Both of these young men hoping to make it big in the SJL as we come to you live from the Cow Palace on SJL Wrath!

King: Do the people watching this at home really need to know where we are? What concern is it of theirs?

Axis: Well... none really. It’s just a shameless plug for the town. Why else would they have us?

C4 instantly gets up from the suplex and uses his speed advantage to charge off the ropes and toss a clothesline at Moran, who reacts as though he were bitten by a mosquito. With C4 more than a little puzzled at Mike Moran’s reaction, “Mountain” makes his move and knocks C4 backwards with a headbutt. With C4 stumbling away, Moran is given enough time to grab C4 by the throat and toss him into the corner. The crowd remains widely indifferent throughout the match, not sure who to cheer and who to boo.

Mike Moran kicks C4 in the stomach and then locks his foot into place under C4’s chin, choking the life out of him. Out of desperation, C4 chops the back of Moran’s knee, causing him to lose his choke hold and allowing C4 to reverse their situations. Moran in the corner, C4 delivers several quick chops to the chest, not giving the crowd enough time to yell “WHOOO!!” even if they wanted to. C4 then whips Moran towards the opposite turnbuckle but Moran blocks it and reverses the whip. C4 follows it but ducks under the short arm clothesline, wrapping around behind Moran and German suplexing him to the canvas, just short of the turnbuckle, inciting a flicker of electricity to flow through the crowd.

Axis: WOW!! Now, that looked like it took some effort!

King: Pfft, I’ve had farts more exciting than that spot.

Axis: Nonetheless, these two are giving it everything they’ve got...

King: And everything they’ve got is none too entertaining. There should be a clause in my contract that says I can automatically declare myself the winner of a match if I find it too boring.

Despite The Suicide King’s general lack of enthusiasm, the crowd is actually starting to get into the match. C4 springs to his feet, a smile visible beneath his black mask. Moran gets up, using the ring ropes for leverage and takes a moment to catch his breath. Both men grin at each other until C4 breaks up the monotony with a quick kick to the hamstring, trying to take out the vertical base of the big guy. Another kick and another until Moran bends over and grabs at his sore leg. The perfect opportunity for C4 to whip Moran over with a snapmare...

Or so it would be, if Moran weren’t so damned big, for “Mountain” actually falls forward, crushing C4 sandwich style. Moran rolls off of C4 and gives C4 the chance to straighten himself out. The two men lay on the mat for a moment, breathing heavily, until Moran rolls to his feet and bounces slowly off the ropes and tries for a leg drop, which C4 easily avoids. Immediately on his feet, C4 waits for Moran to get back up, bouncing slightly, filled to the brim with energy. When Moran finally gets to his feet, C4 locks arms with him and attempts a suplex of sorts but it is countered by a sleeper hold by Moran, immediately causing the crowd to boo (no one likes sleeper holds).

Axis: And Moran locks on a sleeper hold. Both Moran and C4 are doing everything in their power to get their first win in the SJL.

King: Man, that Moran really knows how to get the crowd worked into a frenzy.

Axis: Just like your glory days, eh King?

King: At least I HAD glory days.

The big man wrenches away at C4’s neck like a vice, trying to stop any and all blood flow from going to his brain. Surely turning red under his mask, C4 struggles and shakes, trying to get himself out of the sleeper hold that could very well be his undoing in this match-up. Slowly, he begins to get his vertical base, using every ounce of strength in his body to get up. Finally he succeeds and begins to shake violently, trying to free himself from this bear trap of a hold.

The crowd begins to cheer ever so slightly, probably just for the end of this boring as hell maneuver. At last, C4 shakes free and kicks Moran in his massive gut, keeping him distracted long enough to bounce off the ropes, looking to charge back with a Burning Lariat, but Mike Moran narrowly avoids the devastating move by thrusting his arm forward and spinning C4 around again and into another sleeper hold, getting big time heat with the crowd. C4 immediately loses his steam at the mercy of “Mountain” Mike Moran.

King: I could give two squirty shits about this newbie suck-o-rama but you are at least supposed to TRY to entertain the crowd!

Axis: Hmm... It seems you may be right at that King. Moran doesn’t seem like he is interested in keeping the crowd happy at all.

Moran grins wide as his massive arm wraps under the throat of C4. The crowd against “Mountain”, he grins wide as they boo his use of the sleeper. It seems though, that his grip isn’t what it was moments ago as C4 unexpectedly slips out from beneath him and drills Moran with several stiff right hands, dazing him. Taking advantage, C4 bounces off the ropes and comes back with a hard forearm. Moran takes a shaky step backwards, giving C4 the room to hit Moran with his big boot. The crowd cheers a tad as Moran falls sloppily to the outside, through the top two ropes.

C4, not wanting to allow Moran much time to recover, goes to the ropes and waits for Moran to get to his feet, which is a longer wait that he had anticipated. “Mountain” finally gets to his feet and C4 charges forward and, testing gravity’s limits, leaps over the top rope taking Moran back down to the ground. The crowd is buzzing as C4 stands up with both arms raised in the air. Feeling the energy of the moment, C4 climbs back up to the ring apron but Moran reaches his feet behind him and as C4 turns to face the crowd, Moran grabs him around the legs and falls backwards...

. . .

. . .

. . .

. . . causing C4 to collide chest first with the steel guard rail. The crowd groans at the sickening display as Moran gets up and rolls back into the ring.

Axis: Uugghh, C4 slammed into that steel guard rail, taking the brunt of that blow with his ribs.

King: Well at least there is SOMETHING interesting happening in this match now.

Moran is now in the ring chuckling at his handiwork, waiting for the referee to finish counting his opponent out.

THREE!!

. . .

FOUR!!

. . .

C4 is now moving ever so slightly on the outside...

. . .

FIVE!!

. . .

SIX!!

. . .

C4 is now struggling to his feet...

. . .

SEVEN!!

. . .

EIGHT!!

. . .

C4 is now rolling back into the ring, causing the ref to stop counting. Showing great resilience, C4 gets to his feet, only to be caught by several right hands by a rather upset Moran. After about five shots, Moran follows through with a clothesline, sending C4 to the mat in a heap. Without any warning, as Moran turns around to yell something at the ref, C4 somehow pulls together his efforts to roll Moran over for a cover.

Mike Moran kicks out at two and a half.

Axis: Wow, this C4 is one tough cookie! After taking a sick bump on that guard rail and some stiff shots by Moran, he still has the energy to try a pin on Moran, however unsuccessful it may have been.

King: Meh, these two both suck and you know it.

Axis remains silent... like a crab...

Both men get up simultaneously and stare at each other. Millions of emotions running through their minds. Out of nowhere, Moran charges forward with surprising speed and hits a superkick, knocking C4 for a loop, and onto his back. Moran walks forward confidently and places his boot on C4’s chest and tells the referee to count the pinfall.

C4 gets the shoulder up at two and three quarters. Moran removes his boot but places it right back, but this time with force. The ref once again counts.

Again C4 kicks out. Moran is now extremely frustrated and picks C4 up by his arm with a jerk. With extreme force, C4 is whipped into the ropes and when he returns, he is flipped up high by a big back drop. Out of nowhere, C4 springs back to his feet and waylays “Mountain” with rights and lefts. Moran staggers back, but suddenly, he hits a simple bodyslam and as the crowd buzzes with anticipation... Mike Moran simply laughs at his opponent and then at the crowd, showing them just how much they suck.

Axis: Moran now taunting the crowd. I wonder what his problem is, its his first match for crying out loud!

King chuckles softly: Well, sometimes these troglodytes need to be told just how inferior they are.

Axis: Well, it seems that Mike Moran is keeping them well informed.

The crowd booing heavily, Moran’s missing tooth grin grows wider and wider but is stopped short by an unexpected inverted DDT by C4, looking to put Moran away for good. After delivering the inverted DDT, it seems as though C4 has a little bit of his spark back and is ready to ignite as he waits for Moran to rise again. The crowd starts to get behind C4, though he doesn’t seem to notice, as he stands with his hands on his knees, ready to strike.

Moran gets to his feet slowly and turns to see C4’s big boot which he ducks out of instinct. C4 brings his boot down so that Mike Moran’s head is between his legs and he goes to lift him up as if for a powerbomb, but Moran sandbags and denies C4 the bomb. Moran then stands up with C4 now on his back, looking for an Alabama slam of sorts but he is also denied as C4 keeps his momentum rolling and rolls Moran up for a quick pin.

2

.

Moran kicks out while the crowd continues to buzz.

Axis: Wow, excellent reversals by both men. I think these two have got major talent and mondo potential.

King: Axis, did you just say mondo?

Axis: Yeah... well... they gave me this list of adjectives to use instead of the old tired out ones. They said I need to be more edgy.

King: Give me that! *snatches list from Axis’ pudgy hands* Mondo, Spooktacular, Groovalicious, Rad, Framptabulous? Who the hell wrote these? Dude Love?

With the crowd now into the match... or at least spending money at the snack booth, the two competitors battle it out for the big W. Moran stands up and insists that C4 gets to his feet promptly, a request he insures by pulling him up by his hooking his hand underneath C4’s top row of teeth. C4 fires away several quick kicks to the breadbasket of Mike Moran and then twists him to the mat with a spinning neckbreaker. Without a moment’s delay, C4 goes up to the top rope and hold his arms up, signaling for something spectacular.

However before he can leap off, “Mountain” is directly in front of him and he grabs him and holds him in a Gorilla Press position before tossing him up and slamming him to the mat in an elevated Samoan Drop. With his opponent sufficiently down, Moran goes for a pin.

1

2

.

.

C4 gets his foot on the ropes and the ref’s hand stops inches away from the third hand slap. Moran scolds the ref for not making a fast enough count.

King: These refs nowadays, they must ALL have Parkinson's and arthritis with all the slow counts. Can’t we hire some young, healthy, easily bribed refs?

Axis: We tried that a while back actually.

King: Well where are they now?

Axis: You bribed them all to quit.

C4 gets up slower than before, but with even more determination. Moran fires a right at him, but C4 blocks it and returns it with one of his own. Frustrated, Moran tries another right, but again it is blocked and retaliated. C4 then grabs Moran and tucks his head between his legs and lifts him up with all of his might. C4’s chiseled frame pulsates with struggle as he tries to hold Moran up in the crucifix position, but he cannot hold it for long.

Moran wriggles free and whips C4 into the ropes. He bounces back and his head is caught between Moran’s thick legs. In a flash, C4 is hoisted up and even faster he is brought back to the mat with a sickening thud. “Mountain” Mike Moran quickly flops his generous frame onto C4’s heavy breathing body and makes the pin.

DING!! DING!! DING!!

“Mountain” Mike Moran picks up the win. He grins wide as he stands up, his arm held high by the referee who looks very small next to the big man. Moran’s theme song starts up again as Funyon speaks. “Here is your winner... ’Mountain’ Mike MOOORAAAN!!” The crowd boos as the cocky Mike Moran is about to leave the ring, but C4 who is now on his feet, but holding his ribs yells for Moran to come back and shake his hand.

King: Huh? What’s this all about?

Axis: I believe its called good sportsmanship.

Moran looks puzzled but turns around and approaches C4, whose hand is extended waiting for a handshake. C4 and Moran exchange words and Moran finally extends his hand to C4’s as the crowd cheers slightly for the newbie sportsmanship. Or so it seems, as Moran holds onto C4’s hand and then whips him into the corner hard and then follows up with a charging Avalanche splash in the corner, demolishing C4’s ribs. The crowd boos heavily as Mike Moran cracks his knuckles and leaves the ring quietly.

Axis: We’ll be right back, stay tuned to SJL Wrath!

Comments for YOU!

Arianwyn - I know what you are saying about your match, it is very good and couldn't have lost to Janus by all that much, you should PM your marker and ask them what made the difference in their decisions... most are more than happy to help you out. For me, two things stick out that could use some modification 1) I think your style of near falls is a bit awkward, where you actually type out 'Three' and then in the next paragraph tell the reader it was actually a close two. It just struck me as not feeling right and 2) I think you need to work on displaying more of the characters that you are writing... not that you're along in this (I have the same issues). But it would probably be helpful to you to get more of a motivation together for what Arianwyn and Nocturna ... to differentiate them from each other and add more of a flavor to what they do

Taft - I think your transitions need some work, its like one second, C4 is in a sleeper and the next, he's punching Mountain in the face. Like, how did he get out of the sleeper? I mean, if he powers out enough room to slip his head free, you should write that down so the match doesn't feel quite so jumpy. The finish was also pretty unclear, as it appears as though you whipped C4 into the ropes and then powerbombed him. But those moves don't really chain well together unless you kick the guy or get him duck his head at some point. Oh, and saying that a match is dull and the fans are out taking bathroom breaks is not a good strategy to get the reader involved, in my opinion. Using rest holds to get Morin over as a heel is different all together.

Give you something to read and me something to learn

------

"Psstt..!"

"Mmmmmggghhhmmmggg..."

"Pssstttttt!"

"What?"

"Axis.... Not quiet sure how to break this too you good man.. but ermm, ever since we changed the sponsor messages around, they got... ermm... shorter man." King notes with mock sympathy.

"Uh, what, what?!" Axis yelps, shocked.

"So please man, not on air, they nearly sued us last time over this whole thing," King says calmly.

Wiping his lips, Axis stuffs something in a bag under the announcers' desk.

"Honestly, what's next? Barbecue Sauce?"

"King, what you use with all your 'boys' in the back is none of my business. I was just grabbing a snack." Axis fires back. "Can we get back to the truth here?"

"The truth? You want the truth? You can't handle..!"

"Being sued by a major film company, thank you very much King." Axis glares.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match will be the SJL Fisherman's Wharf Brawl!" The announcement booms.

"The match will be a No Disqualification Street Fight, with one fall to a finish, by pinfall only."

The crowd bursts into cheers.

"If you will all turn your attentions to the Smarkatron, or the other screens around the arena, where you will be able to view the action from the match."

"And the engines are revving."

"The match will start by Johnny's Famous Fish Booth on the wharf. From there, the match can continue to anywhere within the San Francisco city limits."

More cheers follow.

"And everyone is on the starting line, they can't wait."

The Smarkatorn flares into life, showing the familiar image of Johnny's Famous Fish Booth, as four dark figures in the distance, walking in from different directions on the wharf.

As Darkness Falls starts booming out over the speakers.

"The contestants for this match will be, The Number One Contender for the Ejiropean Title ...JANUS!" The fans cheer for the silent big man that has captured their attention.

You're All Gonna Die growls in, filling the arena.

"The second man, from Birmingham England ... DACE NIGHT!" More cheers for the violent technician,

The Fight Song fades in once more like it never left.

"From London England, the returning .. JACK 'THE RIPPER'!" And the crowd turns sour into jeering and boos, for a man they've only missed booing.

Aeon strains in, rising like a storm.

"And finally, SHE is the newest SJL star ... ARIANWYN RIVENSTONE!" The fans boo again for the female fighter.

"I love this new girl Axis, but can someone find a good way of saying her name?" King asks.

"I wish I knew too, but money says she won't be interested in you, sorry King."

The arena cranes it neck towards the Smarkatron to get a better look at the action that is about to unfold.

"Lights are orange.... And we have a green!"

DING, DING, DING!

"Two things Axis old chap. First, why as the bell ringing when they haven't even gotten to each other yet? And what the hell is with the racing commentary?" King asks puzzled.

"One, I guess because it's close enough to start any second. Two, I ermm... took the liberty of attending one of these famous 'production meetings' and picking up the 'announcers script' you love so much." Axis answers nervously.

"How the hell did you fin... I mean, well, thank you very much, you seem to have saved a great deal of trouble." King grins slyly.

"Damn it, King how do you al... Hold up, here it goes!" Axis bursts into shout mid sentence.

The picture flicks to a live camera feed from the field as Dace makes a lunge at Jack and tackles him through the outside display stall of the Fish Booth, as they skid off along the floor in a pile of fish, fighting for control. Meanwhile Rivenstone lunches into a run, and throws herself around Janus' neck with a flying headscissors, spinning right round before landing on her knees behind the seemingly unphased giant, that is until she jumps back up, catching Janus with a low blow on the way.

"What a Blitzkrieg from the young Irish superstar, going right round Janus and planting a low blow. Dace took Jack through the fish stall, and those too are grappling for control on the floor!"

"Damn, do I back Rivenstone or The Ripper, decisions, decisions." King murmurs aloud.

Without the ropes, Rivenstone turns to other things to leap up, running right up the side off the Booth, she backflips off, over Janus' head, but Janus lunges his arms out, and grabs her from the air, but she's expecting this and hooks his head, before twisting round, and falling to the wooden boards with a swinging DDT.

Dace is back on his feet, and dragging Jack up from the floor. Like he'd never missed a heart beat of fighting Jack, Dace sends a personal delivery knee to the gut, straight to Jack, before letting Jack's face get up close and personal with Johnny's Famous Fish Booth wall. The newly returned psycho staggers back, leaving him wide for a lariat form Dace Night, snapping him from his feet to the wooden under them.

"Arianwyn just moonsaulted of the wall! Janus catches her out of mid air, but gets a swinging DDT for his efforts. The crowd is going mad in here." Axis calls.

"Obviously you didn't go to the whole of the production meeting, because you'd know the fans at home can't hear the fans here in the arena, they just get the pleasure of us.. well me, and the live cameras." King butts in. "And Dace driving The Ripper's head into the wall is no way to treat a great returning star like Jack The Ripper.

Arianwyn pulls herself back up, and prepares to assault the downed Janus, but before she can start, Dace spins away from Jack with a charge and levels her to the floor with a Yakuza Kick.

Janus stumbles back up, to be flattened by a second Yakuza Kick. The Ripper dives to his feet, and right back off them from the hat trick scoring Yakuza Kick .

"Yakuza Kick! Yakuza Kick! Yakuza Kick! Dace levels all three opponents with a trio of perfect and brutal Yakuza Kicks."

Jack is lifted into Night's grip, as he looks forward to defeating the fellow English man once again. A snap suplex, so hard it cracks the boards of the wharf leaves Jack seeing flying fish. Rolling back to his feet, Dace pulls Jack back up, to be meet by Jack's classic chops to the neck. A viscous backhand, saved up especially for Dace knocks his face clean round to the other side of his head. Taking a step back, the East Ender tackles in low, smashing Dace from his feet, grabbing his leg. Dace sails backwards, with Jack driving him down, and right through the front window of the booth.

"Spear through the Window! Jack just drove Dace Night clean through Johnny's window!" Axis yells.

"And let me tell the fans at home how much everyone here loves Jack for it. Time Dace got his own taste of this stuff." King shouts

"Strange idea of love you have there King, and I'm sure Dace has taken far more than that before."

Rivenstone follows the two men through the window. A forearm to the face stuns Jack as he tries to get back to his feet. Clamping a facelock onto Jack, she takes him over and back out of the booth through the shattered window front. Jack crashes down again to the wooden floor, causing boards to snap all around him, from their first shock in decades

.

Rivenstone makes a fancy kip up to her feet, and turns looking for Janus. Janus is right in front of her and moving in fast, head low in a primal charge. Slamming his shoulder deep into Arianwyn's mid section, Janus just keeps on steam rolling, right through Johnny's Famous Fish Booth, and doesn't even stop when he comes to the back wall, he just goes right through in, crunching Rivenstone straight through it, and down to the streets on the other side.

"Holy Crap! Janus just Gored that Discorded young lady all the way right through the booth, the wall and to the San Francisco streets!" Screams Axis

"He's nothing more than a god damn bully Axis. A common bully!"

Staggering to his feet, Dace shakes shards of glass from his lacerated back, and stops for a moment to watch his blood dripping over the floor. Hauling Jack up by the scruff of his neck, Dace hammers a few over hand rights into Jack's nose, trying to smash it off his face. A knee to the guy shuts up Jack's yells of pain. Dragging Jack behind him like an unwilling child, Dace steps through the Janus sized whole in the wall and out onto the streets.

"And look Axis, more bulling, as Dace is trying to break Jack's nose. This just isn't right."

A thunderous slap to the back brings Janus spinning round, as Dace sends Jack The Ripper into the big mans huge arms, as Dace drags Rivenstone's body from the floor. With deathly precision, he hauls her high over head for a powerbomb, but Dace's intended victim as over thoughts about being driven the cold roar. Swinging all her body weight round, Arianwyn tries to headscissors Dace, but Dace swings the other with sheer strength and smashes her head into a stop sign, before letting Rivenstone's limp body thud to the ground.

"Oh my god! She tries to headscissors out of the powerbomb and Dace just smashed her skull in on that stop sign!" Axis cries.

Now Janus lifts The Ripper and presses him effortlessly over head. Jack starts kicking, but before he can build any speed, Janus drops him from easily over eight feet in the air to come down with a thud on the road below.

"And now Janus drops Jack out of the air to the road. These four are going to kill each other!"

Janus grabs Dace from behind, and pulls him into a right hand that covers most of his face. And two more leave Dace punch drunk on his shaking legs. Closing a massive hand around Dace's throat, Janus lifts him up, twist around and drives forwards, sending Dace's body smashing onto the hood of a parked car, his head cracking off the metal.

"Oh my god! Again, I have to say it. Janus just chokeslammed Dace onto that car! This isn't a wrestling match. This is a god damn war!" Yells Axis at the top of his voice.

"A perfectly constructed war by the Magnificent Seven, of course." King smiles at the destruction he sees on the screen.

Janus leans forwards and covers the prone form of Dace Night on the car hood. A referee, finally braving the trip to the embattled streets, runs over, and makes a count.

......1!

......2!

.....Kickout!

Not waiting for anything to happen, Janus drops back to the road, covering the still downed Jack.

......1!

......2!

.....Kickout!

And then he tries to cover Arianwyn Rivenstone.

......1!

......2!

.....Kickout!

"Janus makes three cover attempts, and we have three kick outs from three devastating attacks. How long can this go on?" Wonder Axis.

"As long as we can hope man." King answers.

Janus targets Rivenstone, hauling her up to her feet, and whipping her towards a soon to be wrecked car. With a bound and a leap, Rivenstone makes it onto the hood, and then to the roof. Flying off, she sails through the air with a huge plancha like dive.

But like everyone else that has tried, she is caught in mid air by the hulking Janus. Janus gets read to slam Arianwyn, but she cuts him off with thrashing her arms up into the rake of the eyes.

Dropping to her feet, Rivenstone sweeps her legs out, taking Janus' feet again and sending him toppling forwards, chin first into the hood of the chair, smashing his jaw.

"Once again Janus catches someone out of the air from a dive, but Rivenstone gets out with a rack to the eyes, and then drop toe holds Janus into the car! It looks like it's someone's only hope to win this match, by using the surroundings to knock the other wrestlers clean out of it." Axis calls.

"Beautiful moves there from Ms. Rivenstone, I see very big things in her future Axis, big things."

"Like you ego maybe King?" Axis quips.

Leaving Janus slumped against the car seeing some shiny things flying around his head, Arianwyn turns her focus on the rising Ripper. Throwing an Irish bird to Jack, Rivenstone slaps the taste out of his mouth.

"I think that one for the comment about a women in the SJL. What do you have to say about that King?" Axis questions.

"Hmm... well, I'm going to have to let her go on that one, just because she has that much potential." He fires back.

With a flash, Arianwyn is up on the car, and tumbling through the air. Scissoring her legs around Jack's head she spins round and round his body, passing over his back and front, before Jack can even turn his head, and then gets flicked over, his body flung into the side of a bus, coming to a thudding halt. Rivenstone shakes the cobwebs out of her head from the rotations and having his driven into a stop sign.

"Deja Vu! Sending Jack The Ripper, into that bus that was left abandoned in the middle of the road as the action headed up. This match is just getting crazier and crazier."

Using the car as a springboard, Arianwyn flies over it, and drops a leg over the exposed neck of the man mountain Janus, hammering his jaw down into the car body once more.

Still using her tremendous speed, she runs over to Dace, who is still flattened into a car hood.

Slowly arching his head up for a look around for his opponents, the from CZW stars gets reintroduced to glass for the second time in the match as a dropkick from Arianwyn snaps his head back and through the glass of the windshield.

"And the fans are exploding, Rivenstone's speed taking control of the match, with a pace even Jack The Ripper can't keep up with. And she just dropkicked Dace's head back and into the windshield glass. The crowd are all over the Irish women, they can't stand her!"

Lurching to his feet, the disturbed Londoner is less than happy with everyone else in the fight, Gabbing Rivenstone's arm from behind, he pulls her round to face him, and lashes out with a massive backhand, landing it with a crack against' her jaw.

Arianwyn staggers back, but Jack holds onto her. Pulling her back in by her arm, Jack tries for another back hand, but she dodges under it easily with her speed. Taunting Jack, there's a pop as her shoulder moves out, and she twists it all the way around and over, bringing her arm with it. There's another pop, and Arianwyn has turned her arm right around in Jack's grasp.

"Axis, as they say over the pond. Bloody Hell!" King gasps

"That's just sick, Arianwyn Rivenstone just dislocated her shoulder, twisted it round the wrong damn way and clicked it back into place, to escape The Ripper's wrist lock. I've NEVER seen anything like that before in a wrestling match." Shouts Axis.

The move causes Jack to stare in shock and slight enjoyment for a few moments, before catching the wild swing from Arianwyn. Whipping her away Jack drags her back in, this time keeping her held, before doubling her with a sharp boot the mid section. A flick and Jack is down on the road, bringing Rivenstone down with him, and driving her head into the asphalt.

Like a slumbering beast awakening, Janus stands up to his full height, rubbing his jaw a few times.

Marching over to Jack, staring him down, Janus swings a club like right hand, leaving Jack reeling. A second huge fist comes thundering in, but Jack ducks and leaves it to smash through the bus window, leaving a small shower of glass.

Lunging back to his feet, Jack catches Janus around the head, a swift twist and The Ripper is running up the side of the bus. Kicking his legs and pushing off the bus. Diving to the floor with all his weight, Jack pulls Janus down and spikes his jaw across his shoulder.

"Aerial Stunner off the bus! Jack nailing Janus' already bruised jaw. I don't think landing on the hard road did Jack much good, but he probably liked it anyway." Axis comments

"The fans at home should be able to hear this crowd, and how disrespectful they are. They can't seem to grasp just how good and skilful Jack The Ripper is. Useless fools." King snorts.

Finally sitting up from the now ruined car, Dace springs back into life and action. Blood streaming from cuts on his forehead and still bleeding back, he makes a yell and runs down Jack. A huge elbow cuts through the air, looking to take The Ripper's head off, but he ducks, and instead Dace drills the dazed Janus directly in his jaw, flattening him against the bus.

Night swing back round, after Jack, he gets meet with a viscous flying clothesline, Jack going for a decapitation. And the black haired almost monster doesn't even move a muscle. A desperate right hand is easily blocked in mid air. Hauling Jack in like the catch of the day, Dace wraps his arm across his throat, and brings Jack up into the air and drives him down across his knee. Jack yells in pain as Dace's knee nearly snaps his back. Lifting him back up, Dace drives a knee into the gut, further winding Jack, before whipping him over head with a snap suplex, plastering Jack's spine over the road.

"Ohh.. and Janus gets plastered into the side of the bus. Jack saw the running elbow smash coming and ducked. That elbow cracking into the big man's jaw can't help with the damage already done to it." Axis comments

"How can you tell that the Brits' aren't just looking out for each other and Dace was going for Janus in the first place?" King chimes in.

"Are we watching the same match?" Demands Axis

"Nope, I'm watching the right one. Where these lot in the crowd know what they should be cheering for." Smiles King

"Looks like porno to me." Axis says, slipping in a knock out blow under the arms.

Seeing no reason to waste an advantage, Dace Night ducks his head under one of Janus' arms, before suplexing him over into a bridge on the road with a Northern Lights Suplex so far down in southern San Francisco.

......1!

......2!

..Smack!

A kick to the ribs sends the Brummie sprawling as Arianwyn is back on her feet. Without the inconvenience of anyone else trying to win the match at the moment, Rivenstone goes back to Jack The Ripper. Forcing him up from the floor, she clubs a pair of forearms into his back. Snaking her arms around The Rippers head, Arianwyn starts into a backwards run towards another unsuspecting car. Springing up into the air, Arianwyn plants both feet on the and lunches off with a full circle spin before she comes back down to the cold hard metal, bringing Jack's head with her.

Rolling Jack over across the car, Rivenstone pins him there on the hood.

......1!

......2!

.....Kickout!

"Three hundred and fifty pounds of Janus and it just gets tossed like salad..." Axis starts

"And there goes our gay audience with that offensive remark. Thank you very much Axis." King cuts in."

"Well anyway, Rivenstone breaks up the pin. Then she goes back to work on Jack. A Tornado DDT on the car! Jack barely kicks out before the three." Continues Axis.

Taking a stand at the back of the car, Rivenstone takes hold on the boot, before springing up onto it, and then using the car's suspension like tension ring ropes sends all of Irish breed body mass flipping through the air, over the main body of the car before swooping down onto The Ripper like a Shooting Star Press.

"Bloodlust! Arianwyn Rivenstone just performed a Springboard Shooting Star Press from the boot of a car all the way across it and landed on the battered body of Jack the Ripper off the hood. My God is that skill. The arena is on it's feet, like this women or not, that was incredible." Yells Axis.

"This is fantastic, all we need to do is give her some hoss injections, as we have the prefect face of Women's Wrestling today." King raves.

Even the referee is shocked before he can slam his hand off the car for a slightly winced count.

......1!

......2!

.....Bang!

Showing that the other two men are still in this contest, Dace and Janus make desperate dashes at the car and drive home blows on Rivenstone to break up the three count.

Slamming a right hand into Janus' already swelling jaw, before pulling Rivenstone onto the roof of the car with him. Driving a knee all the way into her abdomen, Dace drags her into a headscissors. Arianwyn pounds away with left and right hands to Dace's leg, but the bloodied English man doesn't even notice it. Locking his around her waist, Dace pulls Rivenstone up into the air. He pauses, tells Jack where he can stuff the psycho Brit toff before violently jeckering down to car roof, piledriving Arianwyn through the sunroof.

"And Jack just got told where to shove it, and Arianwyn just go shoved through that sunroof courtesy of a Dace Night piledriver."

Hopping down from the car, Dace ducks a massive boot from Janus before grabbing a knocked out Ripper and dragging him along like a dog on a lead.

Shrugging his shoulders, Janus plucks Rivenstone out from the car sunroof like a bunch of grapes. Draping the over his shoulders, he sets off back into the wreckage of Johnny's Famous Fish Booth.

"And now the action is splitting up, what can happen now?"

Throwing open the double glass doors of a local San Francisco music shop, Dace seems to have plans for Jack The Ripper. Locking in a rear waist lock, Dace twists their bodies round so they face out of the doors, before he tries pulling Jack off his feet. Even with the beating he's taken, The Ripper can sense what has been planned for him, and kicks his legs in a flurry, desperate to get out of the suplex into the shop. In annoyance, Dace drops him back to his feet, and makes a home run swing with his elbow into the back of Jack's head.

Crumpling like a puppet with cut strings, the only thing holding the London psycho up is the Brummie wrestler's grip. Arching his cat almost like a cat, Dace bridges his whole body backwards, till his head touches the floor, dragging Jack with him. But at the very peak, Dace unlocks his arms and lets momentum carry Jack into the shop and smashing through equipment and display stands.

"Brutal Release German Suplex, right into the shop. Jack tried all he could to escape it, but that elbow to the back of the head just shut him right down."

"And let me tell you all at home how much the fans are hating Dace for that." King comments

"Of course they are King. Going deaf as well as blind now eh?"

Pulling himself up, Dace lays a few boots down over The Ripper's spine before he starts to drag two huge speakers into the middle of the shop floor. Rolling Jack between with his foot, Dace picks up an imposing looking electric guitar from a rack on the wall. Plugging in to the huge speakers, which now sandwich Jack The Ripper like the walls of a coffin.

"What the hell...?" Cries Axis

Turning the volume all the way up, Dace slams home a power cord, so loud the shop front windows explode outwards in a shower of glass and Jack starts convulsing on the ground, vainly trying to cover his ears.

"My God! Dace Night just uses those speakers as a weapon, he might have blown both of Jack's ear drums out of his head!"

Even over in the fish booth Janus and Rivenstone can hear the ripping blast.

Janus isn't too distracted, and falls to his side, sending Arianwyn, who was still balanced over his shoulders, crashing through a stall full of wet sticky, smelly fish.

Pulling her prone form back up, Janus makes a stand on the wharf, signalling with one arm, he points to the wooden boards off the wharf and the cold dark water below.

"He's going to Chokeslam Arianwyn Rivenstone all the way through the wharf to the waters below. That'll put anyone out of this match." Shouts Axis.

"I really wouldn't know Axis, because apparently I'm not even watching this match." King sneers back.

He swings round, locking to lock his hand around Rivenstone's neck, instead he finds a sharp round house kick coming flying into his jaw. Jumping into the air and draping her arms over Janus' neck, Rivenstone drops back to he knees, driving her shoulder up into the nig mans jaw.

Staggering, twisting groping, trying to stay up, even with the lightning blots of pain crashing through his jaw, Janus tries. Rivenstone in frustration help's him to the wharf floor, a bound of the big man's own leg, and she once more has her arms around his neck, a swing of the body, and Rivenstone brings Janus toppling like a tree, face first into the hard wooden boards.

The boards groan, creek, and finally huge cracks being to form, streaking out over the wharf.

Rolling herself over Janus' back, Arianwyn brings her arms and legs around, locking in a Deathgrip.

"Jumping Swinging DDT onto the wood, and now the Deathgrip, sleeper with body scissors, even for a wrestler like Janus this has to be the end of in. Unless Jack or Dace win the match right now, Arianwyn has this one in the bag."

Reaching, pushing his arm as far out as he can, Janus tries to get to some railing to pull himself up and try to get from the suffocating grip of Rivenstone.

He pushes, arm coming closer inch by inch, a referee has run out onto the wharf, and is standing by, waiting for Janus to pass out so a cover can be maybe, without pinfalls in the match. But it doesn't happen. With all of his will, some how, Janus comes to his huge feet. Standing like a lighthouse in a storm, he is up, but the fire is fading fast. Looking down at the floor under him, the big man sees the only escape root around.

Crouching, he springs backwards, and comes crashing down like a land slide onto the wharf, with Arianwyn still holding on, she gets crushed under the imposing bulk. The boards give a final dying groan and splinter to pieces as the two wrestlers go into free fall to the waters below, landing with a huge wave causing splash.

"All his effort, Janus is back to his feet. But what can he do from... And in shades of Vader and Cactus Jack way back in WCW, Janus throws all his weight backwards, crushing Arianwyn to a fine pulp under him. And the wharf just gave way! Both wrestlers fall into that cold water. This is just insane. The fans here in the arena are going crazy, what I sight to be seeing into any sort of match."

"Arianwyn! No! Someone gets some rescue divers down there right now looking for herm and if the spear Janus with a harpoon gun by mistake, all the better really." Yells King.

Back in the music store, Dace has pulled up a set of music tables and amps, forming almost a bed, certain a death bed for The Ripper.

Picking Jack up by his slumped shoulders, Dace hauls him into the air, ready to drive him down to the stacks of items laid out over the floor.

Ears ringing, balance almost gone, Jack goes on pure instinct and drops all his weight like a sandbag. Dace attempts to turn to counter the wait of the falling Ripper, but that gives Jack the setting he needs. Now pulling his weight down, Jack brings Dace's head slamming home like a nail driven into the wood of the tables.

"VDDT through the tables and amps! This is over, it just has to be over now. Janus and Arianwyn are gone, somewhere in the water, and Dace just had his plug pulled." Shouts Axis.

Jack rolls over, one arm across Dace with the very last of his strength.

......1!

......2!

.....Kickout!

"And He Kicks Out! I don't believe it! Dace kicked out! This match is still on, and the fans have come right out of their seats."

You don't believe it Axis. I damn well don't believe it. There's no way that wasn't a slow count right there if even I've seen one." King yells in shock.

Both men are out, almost dead on the floor. Slowly, almost slower than the beats of the world, they being to move. Their bodies twitch, grasp, breath in gasps.

Both men push themselves to their feet, tantalisingly, falling back down, looking like they are competing in a push-ups contest.

Finally, after minutes seeming like hours Dace and Jack are up.

Not even looking for the other man, the make a mad dash to the doors, out onto the streets.

Collapsing once more, this time against a car. Night and The Ripper stare each other out, like gunmen at a shoot out.

"And like masochists, these two are back on their feet. They can't even stand though, having to use that car as a crutch. Then tension is thick like syrup. Sparks could be arching in almost any minute."

"Spare us the histrionics please Axis!"

Jack lashes out, looking to land a simple blow that will end the match. He's tired, drained and doesn't have the energy left, so he simply topples forwards, he strength gone, falling straight into the waiting arms of Dace.

"And it's over, these men where waiting each other out. And Jack ran out of gas fist, Dace has just that little bit more in his tank." Calls Axis.

His face covered in his own blood, Dace locks his arms around Jack's neck, in the end game. Gut wrenching Jack up and over, across his shoulder, Jack isn't even moving to try and fight out of the move.

Dace twists on his heel, and brings Jack nailing down with a Dark Star Driver...

"DARK STAR DRIIVVAAHHH! ON THE CARRRR!"

The Ripper stands on his head, sticking out of the smashed through car hood like a lawn dart. Pulling his shoulders down, Dace himself collapses over Jack, as a wide eyed referee counts the fall.

......1!

......2!

......3!

DING, DING, DING!

The camera switches back into the arena to the roaring crowds are the roar of "You're All Gonna Die" kicking in.

"With one last act of sheer brutality, Dace drives Jack's head through a car hood to win the match!" Axis calls.

King just sits, his mouth gapping at the image on his screen of the crumpled and lifeless Jack The Ripper. The cameras fade out.
