DVD releases for 12/10

Wow, what a shitty week for releases.

Halloween: Resurrection

So-so sequel to the popular franchise has a good opening and some good murders, but is almost ruined by Busta Rhymes cheesemania performance and catch phrases. The movie arrives on DVD in a fully loaded SE, including commentary, deleted scenes and more.

Quicksilver

Popular Kevin Bacon film get's a crappy, overpriced, fullscreen release from Columbia. I guess it would have killed them to release it in widescreen.

'Till next week.

blah to that Farscape set it's just volume four of the 2nd season.

They've released the entire first season on DVD already so i don't know why they are still doing this volumes shit. Just release all 3 seasons in full season box sets.

Does anyone know if there are any extras on the Jackass discs? I plan on picking them up soon and I am wondering what features they have.

Wow, there sure are a lot of DVD releases I don't give a shit about. Hell, the ones I listed don't interest me that much either. Thanks god for the Back to the Future trilogy next week.

THE '60S JAPANESE TV SERIES STARMAN GETS A DVD RELEASE FROM SOMETHING WEIRD THIS WEEK! I'M SO HAPPY! Two volumes, baby, and I'm picking both up!

Seriously... I can't wait to get my paycheck so I can blow it on those two releases and Wonderful Land of Oz, a Barry Mahon kiddie flick that also gets a release from Something Weird this week. Usually they spread their releases out over the whole month... guess for the kids for Christmas they blew their wad all this week. Good for me I guess, now I don't have to be all virtuous and patient and stuff.

And since I'm on dial-up I'm unable to hunt out the other bizarre releases. Really, as bad as all three are sure to be, they can't be worse than Halloween: Resurrection.

I wonder why Amazon.com doesn't have Something Weird releases on their new releases lists.
