Yes, they are not all done by Tarantino himself but theoretically they all take place in the same world, and were all at least written by him. In four rooms case, only 1/4 was.

My vote goes to Jackie Brown.

Its hard to pick as most of the ones on that list are some of my favorite movies of all time.

Jackie Brown gets the nod just cause i love the slow, quiet pacing of the movie.

It was tough to pick over romance, dogs, and fiction though.

Fell free to bash the ones you dont like if needed!

TR is the best - look at the cast, it's like the 1986 Boston Celtics, EVERYONE is in this movie, Christian Slater even appears to have remained sober for it! His best performance, but his creepy dude in Heathers is close. Oldman, Walken, Hopper, a then unknown Gandolfini and even Balki Bartokomous star in this epic drama of evil vs evil!!!! And remember, it's ALWAYS white boy day, especially in Nelly Furtado's dressing room

Yeah.  True Romance is underrated.  Still I can't put it ahead of Dogs or Pulp.  Reservoir Dogs wins.

Picking a fav QT movie is liking picking a favorite child (if I had any, that is).  I love them all so!! I'll go with Pulp just because of the chemistry of Jackson and Travolta.

Reservoir Dogs. He manages to do so much with so little and keeps the film focused throughout and never adds in a scene without any meaning to the film as a whole.

Pulp Fiction. I can go back and watch it more times than Reservoir Dogs because it's a funnier film.

I'm only counting movies Tarantino actually directed, and among those, I'd choose Pulp Fiction.  While I personally enjoyed Reservoir Dogs a bit more, Pulp Fiction is a bit more stylistically and cinematically sophisticated, in my opinion.  It was arguably the best movie the year it came out, and was one of the most important films of the 90's in terms of having an influence on other films, and in terms of what kinds of movies, studios were willing to invest in.  Pulp Fiction really helped to change the landscape for a very brief while, before Titanic got huge and ruined movies again.

I like em all.  Even Four Rooms believe it or not but only Tarantino's and Robert Rodriguez's stories are worth watching.  Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are both so unbelievably good that they are probably the best films he has made.

I loved Four Rooms the most. "THERE'S A DEAD FUCKING WHORE IN THE ROOM!"

So, I'm guessing that me and Gates are the only two that have actually seen True Romance.

Has anyone else actually seen it and not voted for it?

I've seen it but it can't be compared with films like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.  The cast in True Romance is terrific and the film is vastly underrated but I don't think it is even in the same league as something like Pulp Fiction.

hey Brush w/ Greatness

Ive seen all the movies and loved true romance, just couldnt vote for it over my favorite "baby"

I like the other filmed ending where a certain someone bites it instead of living

Drexell : "we got everything form the diddly eyed joe to the damned if i know"

"now up on that tv is a pair of titties and you aint even looked once. you just been clocking me. Now i know im pretty but i aint that pretty"

Floyd "dont condescend me man ill fucking kill you"

True Romance is the shit. And Brad Pitt played the perfect role. Sitting on a couch, getting high out of a honey bottle. He should never be allowed to play another role again unless he is a stoner sitting on a couch.

But Reservior Dogs is #### close...#### close!

I've seen it, and its a good movie.  But it's kinda cheesy in parts too, and I can't imagine picking it over Fiction, Dogs, or even NBK.

True Romance is a spot-fest.  It has a lot of great bits in there but no real substance holding it together.

It also suffers from Recycled Script Syndrome, as this is one of several scripts sold by Tarantino that are VERY similar.

I love True Romance.  I just think Pulp and even Res. Dogs were better.
