ok i will be the first to admit ive chuckled at some of the antics in a good way, but in no way does this make me want to fork over cash, and i cant imagine it does to anyone else.. and that should be at the forefron for gimmick changes

granted its strangely somehow better than the whole "this rookie" gimmick cause that was pretty dismissive but jesus

 

on an aside hes doing the Vanilla Ice and SK pointed out he seemed like Donnie Wahlberg, but i see total Marky Mark

 

if there going to do this at least make his group called the funky bunch..that laughter may make me forget the waste of Cena

The gimmick is certainly better than what Cena has been doing. I think it could be pretty funny if played out right.

He definitely needs a gimmick change, he has more charisma and mic skills than Brock which is what will eventually make him a bigger drawing power. The Marky Mark wigger gimmick makes him a joke, on top of that he is made to look bad to Rikishi constantly even though Rikishi hit his peak over a year ago and has little upside. They better have his fued with Rikishi end soon with Cena coming out looking superior. He needs to polish his in-ring skills but the potential to be the biggest thing since the Rock or Angle is there.

This Vanilla Ice gimmick is better than this gimmick of a plucky underdog with ruthless aggression...even though he was build like bobybuilder, which he was before he came to wrestling.

 

If they want to make this gimmick work, he needs to wear the MC Hammer pants, along with naming his finisher, "Cooler Than Ice".

2. They already had a wigger TAG TEAM not too long ago--Too Cool. How is this different?

 

And I'm a little surprised they don't get a little more use out of Scott Taylor and have him and Cena team up while they've still got him.

That's just it. Anytime you watch WWe these days, that's Vince saying "fuck the fans, I'll tell them what they want to see, how dare they try to think for themselves."

 

If Vince was concerned about drawing money, the Kliq circle-jerking wouldn't be highlighting the Raw side, Big Show wouldn't be champ, and Brock would be in the midcard.

He's suppose to suck and sound lame when he's rapping...It's the gimmick.

 

While i rather not see another "rap battle" the gimmick isn't that bad. It's not a gimmick that will ever get him onto the main event level, but it will be awhile before he's main eventing anyway. Since he'll be a midcarder for a long time the gimmick isn't bad and won't do too much harm.

 

But yes if it doesn't get over they need to change it sooner rather then later because then it would hurt him. If it gets over it would help him.
