Stevie Ray: Y'know Jeremy I'm really excited for the main event Triple threat match Scott Steiner Vs Dan Severn Vs Konnan for the first spot in the WWA world title tournament. These guys all three of them are world class wrestlers and former world champions at that. Jeremy Borash: Let's go down to ringside for our first match!!! Rock N Roll Express vs Vil IV \ Vil V : Robert Gibson hits a crap missile dropkick on Vil IV. Tag to Villano V. Gibson hits a dropkick on Villano V. 'Hit' may be an exaggeration, as it barely touched. Tag between Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton. Morton, chanelling the power of Takada, hits a high kick on Villano V. Vil V tags out to Villano IV. Back heel kick from Morton on Vil IV. Ricky Morton scores with a poor standing spinebuster. Villano IV is all alone...Double Dropkick!! 1....2....3! I'll give it a * rating for not being too bad. (Ahhh hunk of crap squash. The MQ sucked....the CR sucked and the OR sucked. Hopefully the rest of the tourney will be a bit better.) Public Enemy vs Armstrongs Brothers : Lame kick from Flyboy. Running clothesline from Rocco Rock, sloppily done. Rocco Rock scores with a poor standing spinebuster. Tag to Brad Armstrong. Brad hits a back kick. Brad Armstrong misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Brad Armstrong takes a right hand to the temple from Flyboy. Flyboy tags out to Johnny Grunge. Rocco Rock scoops up Brad. Forget about it. Public Enemy signal to each other...and they attack Armstrongs Brothers! After an swift brawl, Brad and Steverino are left down in the ring. Rating: 1\2 star. (Ah yes brings me back memories of 97/98 episodes of WCW SN. This match sucked a load so I hope just hope this card gets a little better from here) (Backstage Commish Sid Vicious is shaking hands with some of the roster, he comes across lieutenant commish Mike Sanders who offers him a handshake) Mike Sanders: Hey Sid, I booked myself into a match at the PPV. Myself Vs whoever wins the fatal fourway tonight for the WWA cruiserweight title. Sid: Whose in the four way? Mike Sanders: Essa Rios, Reckless Youth, Tempest and Lash LeRoux. Sid: (Thinks about it for a short time) Alright sounds good(Sanders starts to exit the room) (Sid grabs Sanders by the shoulder at the last minute). But you better watch yourself(gets in Sanders' face) I WANT NO MISTAKES in the WWA!!! Doring and Roadkill vs Barbarian \ Flynn : Doring bodyslams The Barbarian. Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling. (WOW ** for this match....Doring is a potential star for the future in my WWA. Barbarian and Flynn make good cannon fodder for the younger guys and Roadkill will remain steady in his role as comedy mid carder) Gedo \ Jado vs Koko \ Gillberg : Spinning back kick from Gedo. Gedo uses a basement dropkick to the knee. Springboard dropkick from Gedo. Nicely done. Tag between Koko B Ware and Gillberg. Gedo takes a weak kick. Gedo blocks the suplex attempt. Lightning kick by Jado on Gillberg. Springboard dropkick from Jado. Nicely done. Tag to Gedo. Gedo floors Gillberg. Here it comes - Gedo Clutch, forget about it. 1....2...3! Bland match, but i'll give it a * rating for not being too bad. (It got a bad rating but that's what I was expecting since this match was basically a squash. Gedo and Jado were impressive in their roles of Spot monkeys in this match.) Jeremy Borash: Let's go backstage to backstage interviewer the Cat! (The Cat is backstage standing next to Scott Steiner who is attired in jeans and a WWA UK tour t-shirt) (Scott Steiner grabs the mic from the Cat) The Cat: Hey YOU! You don't mess with the Cat! Somebody call my mama. (Steiner shooes the Cat away) Scott Steiner: TONIGHT in this very ring! I will not just beat but destroy Konnan and Dan Severn. They might be great wrestlers but they're nothing compared to a former WCW champion and a former WCW and WWF tag team champion. It will be a good night for them if they don't get sent to the ER room. And remember Big Poppa Pump is your hookup! Holler if ya here me! (Scott Steiner throws the mic down and exits the room) Rock N Roll Express vs Public Enemy : Gibson hits a dropkick on Johnny Grunge. Morton comes over...and gets nailed with a set of brass knuckles! The referee wakes up to see the pinfall: 1....2....3! It's over. I'm going to give this a ** rating because i'm in a generous mood. (I'm starting to regret hiring the RnR express. The match was okay but I was expecting a lot more from this match. Ah well maybe its just a sign that the RnR express is extremely washed up) Doring and Roadkill vs Gedo \ Jado : Jado gets slammed. Rude Awakening on Gedo by Roadkill. Gedo gets sent from the ladder, over the top rope to the outside! Doring and Roadkill set the ladder up, and climb up to claim the prize and get the victory! This one gets a ***1\4 rating, it was a good bout. (That's your MOTN right there. All four guys seemed to be putting on a show out there. Too bad Gedo got injured as a result of his sick bump, Jado will probably be reduced to jobbing to Essa Rios until Gedo comes back. Ah well still I got a good match right here) Lash LeRoux vs Essa Rios vs Reckless Youth vs Tempest : Lash LeRoux strikes Essa. Second rope flying axe handle, Essa goes down. LeRoux blocks the suplex attempt. Flying elbow from Lash LeRoux. Tempest is in trouble. Here it comes - Whiplash. 1....2...3, it's finished. Almost a *** rating, but there were some bits that dragged, so **3\4 instead. (This was good, four average-pretty good wrestlers putting on a decent show. The Lash LeRoux-Mike Sanders showdown for the WWA cruiserweight title at the PPV looks to be a good one. Scott Steiner vs Dan Severn vs Konnan : Konnan drives a forearm into the chest of Poppa Pump. Double arm suplex by Konnan, Severn hits hard. Scott Steiner avoids a Konnan avalanche. Konnan takes a right hand to the temple from Poppa Pump. Gutwrench into a stomach breaker, Poppa Pump may be winded. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Hard impact russian legsweep by Konnan. If you're going to get impact, 'hard' is probably a good way to go. Dan Severn powers out of a Konnan headlock. Poppa Pump \ Severn whip Konnan into the ropes and hit a double backdrop. Sloppy tornado punch from Scott Steiner, Konnan barely got hit. Cover gets three. Scott Steiner pinned Konnan. Powerslam from Scott Steiner on Severn. Severn reverses a waistlock. Corkscrew brainbuster suplex, Severn hit it well. Hooks the leg for a two count. Scott Steiner fights out of a grapple. Big clothesline from Poppa Pump. Dan Severn gets knocked to the ground by Poppa Pump. Steiner Recliner!!! Dan Severn taps out! I can't decide whether it's a *** or a ***1\2 match...let's go for a ***1\4 rating to make it fair. (Wow three good matches in a row. Hate to say it but I'm starting to care about this WWA. All three guys seemed to hustling out there hence the 75% match quality rating) Doring and Roadkill vs Public Enemy (For The WWA Tag Titles) : Johnny Grunge hits a weak punch on Danny Doring. Roadkill bodyslams Rocco Rock. Incredibly weak powerslam on Doring by Grunge. Rocco Rock comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Big clothesline from Flyboy. Flying shoulder tackle by Roadkill sends Grunge to the mat. Danny Doring misses a clothesline. Johnny Grunge throws Roadkill into the cage. Grunge and Doring both climb up and over the cage, leaving their partners battling it out. Tempest appeared on the outside, and came in via the door...and floored Roadkill with a chair! Flyboy took the opportunity and left the cage to get the win for Public Enemy! Doring and Roadkill are beaten down three-on-two by the combined forces of Grunge, Flyboy and Tempest. **1\2 rating for a decent contest. (I think I made a wrong decision giving Public Enemy the tag titles but I can always hotshit the titles to Doring and Roadkill. Stil Doring and Roadkill carried Public Enemy to a decent outing) Well Danny Doring and Roadkill were the stars of my WWA basically tonight. To congratulate them I'm putting Doring in the WWA title tournament and I'm giving Roadkill a match on the PPV somewhere.
