Well, after much deliberation, i've decided im about to leave for downtown to get my eyebrow done. Anyone here have there;s? Does it hurt? My main concern is disease. Ahhhh. But they usually sanitize the equipment pretty well right.....right?

Yeah, It's all Good...Just do it at a professional venue (look for a Cert.) or at least a highly regarded and respected piercer...I have 3 piercings...(One on my Right ear, One on my Left Eyebrow and one tounge.) Almost got my Belly but thought against it.

Any there any jobs that let you keep your piercings in? I've been wanting to pierce my eyebrow for a few years, but I won't do it if I have to take it out for freakin' work.

I'll be working the usual minimum wage jobs, by the way... Psh.

depends.

if you got it pierced before you got hired, then you can keep it in, it just depends on the place you are hiring at.

I have tons of piercings on my ears. Some one on our school hockey team has a Prince Albert...

Some places will make you cover it with a bandaid, or buy the clear rod for it. Some places won't hire you, though (like where I work), because it looks unprofessional.

I just have one piercing, in my left ear. I had a second one there years ago, but I had a lot of problems with it and eventually just let it close up. Several years ago, I thought about getting the cartilage done on my left ear, but I never did. Probably for the better, anyway.

As long as you go to a place that looks legit and professional you should be fine. And yes look for a certificate because any legit place will have it displayed in plain sight.

Just don't go to "Metal Ed's Tats and Piercings" in a Motor Home behind Wal Mart.

Pain is nothing to worry about at all. It feels good even, kind of exhilarating. I even let some of mine heal and got them done again just for the experience.

To back up the point about making sure it's a professional place, once when I was younger, I gave myself a nose piercing. Now that hurt bad, probably the second or third worst pain I've been in in my life. So that's what happens if somebody who doesn't know what they're doing does it.

Don't go the Beavis and Butthead route. That was just brutal.

I want to get my eyebrow done, but I'm freaked out about things like nerve damage or eye probelms. Are those possible?

I have my septum

(the middle inside of my nose if anyone doesnt know btw)

it doesnt hurt at all if you have the right person doing it

and I know cause ive had it done twice and the first was excruciating but the second was nothing

I ahve to take it out eventually cause im an old bastard and my company only lets the casual dress code ascend so far and im on the way up

Not too into piercings, but my girlfriend is. She seems offended whenever we talk piercings or tattoos, and I say I wouldn't get anything pierced but would get ink done.

tongue piercing hurts for the next few days because everything is basically a liquid as you can't swallow well
