God and stuff

Yeah, JINGUS, most think that Jesus was actually born around the middle of the year or so, IIRC. Personally, I don't have a problem with a set date to celebrate it like Christmas, since we don't really know an exact date for his birth. It's a nice reminder if nothing else.

Fun fact: This makes Doc Brown's use of "Dec. 25th" in Back to the Future pretty funny to me. But then, I'm a geek. :)

i believe in god, for many reasons but mainly because

1) i find it hard to believe that we are only here because of series of explosions and chemical reactions, think how incredibly complex the human body is.

2)i cant comprehend not existing.

it has been said that heaven is a state of mind so maybe you will only go to heaven if you believe you will.

that is why I became a christian. I don't really like organized religion. I figure I read the bible, pray to god, help people when I can and I think I am ok.

Was it? I remember Doc putting December into the Delorean controls, but it's been a while since I saw it so I could be wrong.

I'm almost positive it was November, or else there probably would've been a lot of Christmassy stuff in the movie, and there wasn't. Back to The Future dorks, help us.

Oh, wait. I didn't mean where Marty ends up. I think you're right, that was in fact November, 1955. 15th or 16th? Not sure.

but before that, Doc is explaining how to operate the Delorean to Marty and says something about going back to see the birth of Christ, and inputs December 25th.

A question for the people who believe in God what do you think happens to atheist and even agnostic people when they die.

I would guess an atheist would think when you die your worm food and nothing else. But if it's something else feel free to tell me.

I do believe in GOD. One thing that has pressed on me since 11 years of age was this question right here "What happens when you die?" I could never say to myself, I just die and thats it. That didn't make sense to me. That question finally had a common sense answer. That there must be a GOD. I'm not going to believe that I once came from an ape. Why are there stills aps? When you first start seeking Him, he will testify to you that he is real. Thus faith raises and you feel as though you have the answer. :)
