Guest Dim Report post Posted February 5, 2002 Do you think this is a career down movement by fueding with mid carder Goldust?
Guest The Masked Yodeler Report post Posted February 5, 2002 Well, it's not happening, so I don't think it will affect his career.
Guest Daredevil21 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 Well it just may mess RVD up, but I think if someone can survive an odd feud with Goldust, it's RVD. He's just too over.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 It might effect RVD, but not The Rock. Since "he" was.......... SPOILER ALET!!! ...RVD
Guest The Vanilla Midget Report post Posted February 5, 2002 this is stupid, i hope the "fued" only lasts one ppv, so that rvd can get the ic belt at mania. rvd is what that belt needs, not edge-regal part
Guest Army Eye Report post Posted February 5, 2002 agreed, get that belt on RVD pronto. At this point, the belt needs an over wrestler, not the other way around.
Guest Maurizio C... Version 2 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 Rock vs Golust = Tons of homo jokes by the Great One and nothing more.
Guest The Vanilla Midget Report post Posted February 5, 2002 Rock vs Golust = Tons of homo jokes by the Great One and nothing more. true, tho maybe to even the odds, they could have added chuck and billy to the mix and had a "gauntlet of gayness" match or something? Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted February 5, 2002 could be interesting between rvd and golddust now, i guess we will get to see rvd in promos and storylines again this story will make or break their careers, depending on how over it is, the dangerous thing is that golddust will be riding on rvd's coattails for the short duration of this feud
Guest JAMES900 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 I think this RVD, Goldust fued could be good, Goldust isn't a bad wrestler and RVD could help Goldust draw good heat. Let's see how it plays out before we say it's stupid or Goldust is a step down for RVD.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted February 5, 2002 Goldust is a bad wrestler, but so is RVD.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 I agree both aren't the greatest workers in the world. Dustin looks to be in better shape and RVD is over. So over the WWF is supposedly editing out his cheers. While the match may suck, if RVD hits his trademark spots the match will have heat.
Guest Maurizio C... Version 2 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 just remember that in his wcw days, dustin loved color (blade)...
Guest HoffmanHBK Report post Posted February 6, 2002 On an aside, what did everyone think of Goldust busting out the Rude Awakening? I marked out. As far as the feud goes, RVD is (IMHO) a fine worker, so he'll hold up his end. Dustin will be interesting to see in the ring. I feel he's underrated, though certainly not anything stellar, and he is quite obviously in better shape. This could hold some possibilities. As for the entertainment aspect, it will be interesting to see how the very character-driven Goldust meshes with the laid back Van Dam. If nothing else, it should be fun to watch. Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 6, 2002 RVD's heat could get Beniot over as heel. That's how talented he really is at getting over. It should be a interesting storyline with RVD "It's cool" persona
Guest Blackston Report post Posted February 6, 2002 I was actually a bit disappointed that Goldust lost his Curtain Call. The Shattered Dreams sucks as a finisher, and a Rude Awakening neckbreaker just does not have the "Wow!" factor that a finisher should have in today's WWF. Also, what has happened to Mr. Perfect? Perfect was the one guy of the four that I wanted to see stay on with the WWF (especially not the watered down Godfather), and he seems to be the only one that got shunted from tv. Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 6, 2002 I read the WWF kept Perfect off TV so they could do some promos of Mr. Perfect being perfect like they did in the early '90s.
