Guest Kingpk Report post Posted December 12, 2002 Arush Entertainment and Groove Games have today announced that they have a multiyear, multiproduct licensing agreement to create and publish games based on the Playboy brand. The first game is still in the concept stage, but Arush has revealed that it will be a world-building game for the PC, PS2, and Xbox in which players must attempt to replicate the success of Hugh Hefner by establishing their own Playboy empire. "This unique new game based on the incredibly popular Playboy brand will enable game players to become their own Hugh Hefner," commented Jim Perkins, president and CEO, Arush Entertainment. "This will be a fun, exciting experience that will challenge players to build their own virtual Playboy empire and live the fantastic Playboy lifestyle." The first, as yet unnamed, Playboy-inspired game from Arush Entertainment and Groove Games is tentatively scheduled for release in 2004. We'll bring you more information on the game when it goes into full development early next year and more specific details are released. You know, that actually sounds like a good idea for a game.
