Both incidents are somewhat connected to various forms of homophobia? OH, and to make this post relevant to the thread, how the hell is CREAM metal? back in the late 60's Cream was the heaviest band around before Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and a heavier side of the Who. I disagree, I would go with the MC5 or the Stooges as the heaviest or at least wildest bands of the 60s. The Detroit bands played just as important role in developing metal as the did punk. I've really been meaning to listen to that again, since it's been awhile. Hopefully it's as good as I remember it. I really call them more of a prototype for Punk rather than Metal, though. I don't think it was ever great but i cannot read it without becoming angry, and refuse to EVER buy it. They basically managed to extend a paragraph when all they were saying was 'mushroomhead are not poppy enough for us to care about them' which pissed me off enough, but they were advertising mushroomhead as part of some kerrang mini-tour ALL OVER THE SAME MAGAZINE. I think the only good thing ever on there is tool, they never play awk, and there are some ok ones like the hives or QOTSA but i'll be damned if i haven't heard them 10000000000000000 times. Oh and I FUCKING HATE TENACIOUS D SO MUCH.
