Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted December 13, 2002 Funnily...WWE won't be airing in Australia anymore come January. Pretty good timing for TNA to get a deal.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted December 13, 2002 I was going to say the same thing when I saw the thread title. Anyways, that is a pretty good step for TNA to take and I hope the Aussies order it.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted December 13, 2002 If the Aussies were smart they would order it in force to show McMahon and his money losing bank account that Australia will pay for wrestling...and since he's not providing it to them anymore, the money goes elsewhere. That's why I buy even the shitty DVD's the WWE puts out when they weren't releasing the IYH ppvs to my local stores.
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted December 14, 2002 Well this is certianly good news for me. If the WWE doesn't want my money i'm more than happy to give it to NWA:TNA instead, it'll be good to finally be albe to watch some NWA:TNA shows.
Guest dvkorn Report post Posted December 16, 2002 It should be good to get NWATNA here in Australia but i think that they may be charging too much for the one show. They are charging the same amount for one show as they do/did for the WWF's PPV's. And i don't know if we are getting them each week or once a month yet. Guest Prime Time Andrew Doyle Report post Posted December 16, 2002 Damnit! Just when I got my parents to agree to get the Entertainment Plus because of the loss of WWE PPV's, the NWa start broadcasting to Oz. Hopefully NWA land a TV Deal seperate to PPV and go to a monthly PPV deal, rather than weekly. That way the weekly could be shown on Fox 8, rather than PPV. I wonder though, if they will start from the beginning, or pick up from a certain place
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted December 16, 2002 We've been asking for that in the States since they started. We're still waiting.
