Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted December 14, 2002 Anyone heard of this game for Xbox? It costs 200 dollars and comes with like a freakin' battle station for a controller: Who the fuck is actually going to shell out 200 bucks to play with a 42 button controller w/ pedals when you can go get Mechwarrior for your computer much cheaper? Guest Renegade Report post Posted December 14, 2002 It would be sweet to play "Virtual on" on it though.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted December 15, 2002 Its price is enough to scare away alot of casual gamers who a) don't have the cash b) are cheap. The controller looks sweet and the price is probably justified just by looking at the thing, but unless the game is awesome beyond levels of comprehension, we're talking GotY here, I'll be saving my money. Guest EricMM Report post Posted December 15, 2002 apparently, it's so realistic, if you die without pressing the eject button, it erases your saves.
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2002 Basically yeah. I've heard it too that if your mech blows up with you in it that saved game is over and you have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. Sorry but even if I had an X-Box I'd think twice about spending $200 on what's been described by several places as a mediocre game with that much of a difficulty curve. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted December 15, 2002 It's for Die-Hard Mech fans. It's not like Xbox will be mass-marketing these things for regular gamers.
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted December 15, 2002 i don't think it is worth the money at all, but with online capability, it could be a good game
