Guest kingkamala Report post Posted December 15, 2002 What's old Ringo Starr up to these days? The Beatle I predict will die last because children...Ringo is immortal.
Guest Addy Report post Posted December 15, 2002 On a related matter, where the hell is John?
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted December 16, 2002 He's either participating in an all-star jam somewhere with Eric Clapton or sitting around at home, waiting for that inevitable dying of the light. What does it matter? He's totally irrelevant as a contemporary artist.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted December 16, 2002 Well, I learned from this page that Liverpool thinks nothing of celebrating even the most insignificant parts of major rock history.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted December 16, 2002 I can't imagine how suffocating it must be to live in Liverpool. The Beatles hyperbole is overwhelming everywhere else...imagine living in a town that celebrates Ringo Day.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted December 16, 2002 On Ringo Day, do they sell Thomas the Tank Engine dolls?
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted December 16, 2002 I wonder if Ringo ever feels the pangs of jealousy that McCartney does. Maybe Starr feels he doesn't get enough acclaim for singing "Yellow Submarine."
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted December 16, 2002 He'd probably be right. I much prefer Ringo's undersinging of "With A Little Help From My Friends" to Joe Cocker's ridiculous oversinging of the same song. Ringo had a style and a talent. His drum fills are legendary. But his day has come and gone and, like every other remaining 60s refugee, it's time to hang it up and let some more contemporary artists charge $150 for tickets. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted December 16, 2002 Anyone here ever seen Caveman? Now that was some fine work outta Ringo.
Guest Addy Report post Posted December 16, 2002 *is from Liverpool* The Beatles are not as hyped as you may think around here. But at The Beatles museum, you get ALL kinds of people there. Chinese, German, American, Dutch, everything! Wouldn't expect anything else really!
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted December 16, 2002 Anyone here ever seen Caveman? Now that was some fine work outta Ringo. Props to Ringo for marrying the lovely Barbarba Bach. She looked good 20 years ago, and probably isn't bad for a lady in her late 40's early 50's.

Guest kingkamala Report post Posted December 16, 2002 I always considered Ringo to be mildly underrated. I mean he isn't great but he isn't terrible by any means. Sure he's the worst Beatle, but being the worst Beatle is still better then being on TRL.
