In case anyone cares.

The AFI came out with their list of the top ten movie's of the year. This is the third year they've come out with this list.

-About a Boy

-About Schmidt

-Adaptation

-Antwone Fisher

-Chicago

-Frida

-Gangs of New York

-The Hours

-The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

-The Quiet American

If you've haven't heard of it, The Quiet American is a movie that takes place in Vietnam in the '50's with Michael Caine and Brenden Frasier.

Also announced were the nominations for the Independent Spirit Awards, which I actually think does a better job of honoring the year's best films and performances than the other awards.
