Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted December 17, 2002 Did anyone notice how Kane was put WAY MORE OVER by Jim Ross than RVD. After the match when RVD was posing and the crowd was going nuts, it was almost complete silence by JR, yet when Kane did his fire from the turnbuckles thing to a complete silent and non-caring crowd, JR went into, "maaaaah gawd, Kane is on Fire, Kane.....is.....on....FIIIIIIIIIIRE" mode. What the hell is that all about? Scott Steiner actually gave me the first reason to care about him so far in his WWE run, and that is to somehow just get booked to beat Triple H.(doubt it will happen though) I am just hoping this feud is SHORT LIVED and only lasts ONE PPV. During HBK's speech, I knew SOMEONE was going to come down to interrupt, but I was hoping it could have been RVD turning heel or something more eventful than HBK getting superkicked and shit on by JR right before a "big match" with Booker T. Why did Hardy get the win over D-lo? How many Triple Montages do we need already? What the hell are the planning for RVD(if anything) in the near future? Thoughts? Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted December 17, 2002 1. Kane is big, and people like him more than RVD. I said they like him, dammit. Why is everyone laughing so much? 2. Steiner is the first ever face to feud with Trips so far since his return who actually looked strong, and Trips actually did a HEELISH MOVE~! and ducked out of a fight to piss off the crowd. 3. Need someone to outclass you on the microphone yet don't want him to look better than you? Call 1-800-JERICHO. 4. Because Hardy = White Southerner who isn't Southern at all (he comes from some dark part of the Amazonian rainforest, I think), and D'Lo = Angry Black Dude who ISN'T GONNA LET THE MAN HOLD HIM DOWN ANYMORE!! 5. I think they need to triple the Trips montages. Hey, I'm winning the gambling game by thinking like WWE does, why stop now? 6. They're planning absolutely nothing besides a half-hearted Rumble entry where he'll repeat what he did this past year, ie. destroy everyone in the ring and pop the crowd huge, only to be eliminated after being in the ring for a minute and a half. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I wouldn't mind more HHH montages, especially if they just play montages instead of giving him matches. I can reminisce about the days when he was a good worker.

Scott Steiner actually gave me the first reason to care about him so far in his WWE run, and that is to somehow just get booked to beat Triple H.(doubt it will happen though) I actually think Steiner has a good chance of going over HHH at the Rumble (far from cleanly, but still). HHH knows Steiner's not a long-term threat. Plus, those roided up freaks need to stick together, you know... Why did Hardy get the win over D-lo? Because they're trying to redo the Un-Americans "screwed by the refs" thingie. What the hell are the planning for RVD(if anything) in the near future? He'll be fed to Batista. Then when Batista becomes HHH's sidekick/enforcer, he looks better.
TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I haven't seen Raw yet, living in England, but did Jeff get the win clean? no foot on the ropes, hook the tights etc.
Guest creativename Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I haven't seen Raw yet, living in England, but did Jeff get the win clean? no foot on the ropes, hook the tights etc. D-Lo had his foot on the ropes, thus sparking the "racism" promo. Though, I didn't see Raw, first time I missed it all year I think. I just didn't feel like bothering, my interest keeps waning by the day.
Guest ArchoanJB Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I actually enjoyed the Chris Jericho thing, and the Scott Steiner confrontation. It's good to see someone other then Michaels get the upper hand and make HHH look like a joke. But now do we get to see HHH put over Booker, Kane, RVD, Jericho, Hardy, and Flair for the hell of it next week?

During HBK's speech, I knew SOMEONE was going to come down to interrupt, but I was hoping it could have been RVD turning heel or something more eventful than HBK getting superkicked and shit on by JR right before a "big match" with Booker T. Kane's a big hoss and a company man. RVD almost ended Triple H's career. That explains J.R's shilling for Kane over RVD. And I know he's got people screaming in his ear but I'm starting to wonder if J.R. isn't becoming a detriment to the product. He seems to go out of his way to bury certain guys - Jericho especially comes to mind. I had no problems with the Michaels superkick - assuming this leads to an actual Michaels/Jericho program and not just a chance to rebuild Michaels heat. But J.R. was pissing me off with his constant Jericho bashing in the commentary. J.R. kept going on about how rude it was for Jericho to interrupt Michaels like he was so far beneath him or something. Then he had to make the mandatory gay pajamas joke, which was even more ridiculous considering the way Michaels prances around the ring every week. None of that built Jericho up as a heel - it just portrayed him as a loser. Guys like Jericho, RVD, Booker, etc. have a hard enough time trying to get taken seriously when they have their legs cut out every other week. J.R. just makes it even worse by burying them so he can shill for Triple H and the HOSSES. As for RVD, I also wouldn't be surprised with a heel turn. He has no one to feud with as a face unless he finds a tag partner.
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted December 17, 2002 Kane's big, and of course, he's a hoss. We all know how much JR loves the hosses. The HBK/Jericho segment I liked as well. I'm hoping this leads into a match sometime down the road. If both men are in the Royal Rumble, they should have Jericho eliminate HBK, leading into a match between both men at No Way Out. I'd love to see an HBK vs. Jericho match. I also liked the Steiner/HHH segment. The best part had to have been HHH walking away like a cowardly heel. If there's anyone that could possibly beat HHH for the World Title, it's Steiner. As for RVD, I see him actually winning the Royal Rumble, or being the last remaining RAW guy in the Rumble. Then, he'll go on to Wrestlemania 19 to face the World Champion.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted December 17, 2002 well they have to put KANE back where he used to be before KATIE VICK killed his popularity Steiner went nose-2-nose with the GAME, he must know the Konami cheat code, as all Scott did was repeat himself a few times and yell out some obscene words. As for the D-Lo match, I'm guessing that the ref won some contest to get tv time or D-Lo lost a bet. Plans for RVD, Dude be patient, smokey has to pay his dues 1st then he can get another push

Oh come on, that's part of the brilliance of a Steiner promo. HHH: I'm gonna kick your ass. Scott: You're gonna kick my ass? Well I'm gonna kick YOUR ass! HHH: You're a loser. Scott: I'm a loser. Well how about I lose my foot in yo' ass! HHH: You suck. Scott: I suck? Well [beeeeeeep]!
Guest razazteca Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I am a Steiner fan but come on the writers need to give Scott more lines to use, or give him an advance copy so he can remember the lines. Its just be Holla if you here me.....ehhhhh......Freaks.....Peaks.....I got big arms....your gonna be bitch. Then the big stare down or push up taunt with You Aint Got Nuttin Boy. The Roids and the parties with the freaks killed to many of Steiners brain cells.
Guest Quik Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I thought Scott's lines were more than adaquate. "YOU'RE NOT THE BIG BAD, BOOTY, DADD-EH!!!" "YOU'RE NOT, FREAKZILLA!!!!" "I'LL RIP YOU LIMB OF LIMB!!!!" "I WANT, A TITLE SHOT, TONIGHT!" Seriously, screaming and misplaced pauses= Main event promo work.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I like how Triple H, of all people, called Steiner a jacked-up freak. That was almost as funny as RVD questioning Coach's drug use.
Guest EricMM Report post Posted December 17, 2002 Does anyone seriously enjoy steiner? I know it's nice to see HHH look beatable, but I would LOVE it to be someone who can, you know, work, or cut a decent, what's that called, oh promo. Not scott steiner. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I seriously hope that Steiner meant to say "game with no dice." Maybe he meant like a sport that uses a ball...but those only use one at a time. Not that either would sound any good...but, didn't need to when Steiner said HHH had no balls. That was enough to pop the crowd. There are people I've heard say that Steiner has good mic skills...I shit you not.
